00:00It's the ultimate sandwich showdown Jersey Mike's versus the pub sub I've never
00:04compared the two side by side today's the day so both sandwiches I got turkey
00:08and provolone the regular at Jersey Mike's is $10.25 and this is the
00:13size the whole at Publix is $11.49 but it was on sale for $9.49 so right off the
00:20bat you're getting a better value at Publix start with Jersey Mike's because
00:23I got it first okay so I did the number seven turkey and provolone Mike's way
00:27and I added cherry pepper relish really fresh this one's like heavy on the
00:31vinegar in a good way love the cherry pepper relish I mean they get a bonus
00:35because they have that the only downside is this bread is a little softer
00:38therefore it does get a little soggy with the dressing pub sub some argue that the
00:42bread at Publix is too hard my husband usually has them cut off the end because
00:46the ends are always hard it just holds up better I like a crusty bread in case we
00:51haven't met when I do go get a sub it's not usually for like a daily lunch it's
00:54usually to pack in a picnic or take to the beach or the lake or something pub sub
00:58is gonna hold up more and you can have them cut it you know into three or four
01:01pieces I think the flavor of Jersey Mike's is a tad better than Publix but I
01:05think it's because of the punch from cherry pepper relish and they doused it
01:09with the vinegar but I think you can customize that taste at Publix by just
01:13adding more stuff to it when it comes to a more substantial sandwich at a better
01:17value and a bread that holds up to all the fillings Publix is the winner you just
01:21can't beat a Publix sub
