00:06i'm not saying a word before anything has been said
00:11are we ready i'm ready okay i'm just gonna rip the band-aid off and say that this week is

00:22to be my last week on the radio and uh to avoid rumors and speculation um i want you to
00:31hear it
00:32from me that i was offered a voluntary retirement opportunity and i decided to take it and i know
00:40that that sounds very simple and easy decision and it was not it involved a lot of thought a lot
00:48of tears mostly melissa's um because you know as most people know i have been on the radio for over
00:5635 years and it is what i have done for the majority of my adult life and has been a
01:04big part of who i am
01:06and i have to say that i have had a radio career that most radio people dream of i really
01:15have
01:15um i've worked with some of the greatest and most talented people in this industry three of them
01:23right here in the room with me i love you guys and that was probably one of the hardest parts
01:29was
01:30in this decision um and i have made incredible connections with you our listeners over all of
01:38these years i mean many of you have followed me from station to station to station and i can't even
01:45express how grateful i am for that i mean you cannot ask for a better radio journey than the one
