00:11Formula One is dominated by men, but that is about to change.
00:24This is F1 Academy.
00:52I would describe myself as a rebel, I do get a lot of trouble outside of the track.
00:58I just love everything about racing, but I'm not yet allowed to drive cars.
01:03So you haven't got a driving license?
01:05Not yet, no.
01:09I'm Susie Wolf.
01:10I'm the managing director of F1 Academy.
01:14I was the last woman to reach the world of Formula One.
01:17Susie's a powerful woman.
01:19Badass.
01:20Fist.
01:20F1 Academy is 15 of the best female drivers from around the globe, competing on the toughest
01:27tracks.
01:28Keep this, don't push.
01:33I thought I would enjoy it forever again.
01:36But the winner graduating to the next level of racing.
01:39I don't have a lot of money, so I won't be able to continue racing if I don't win.
01:46This is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
01:50The ultimate aim of F1 Academy is to get a female driver back on the grid in Formula One.
01:58And we will.
02:11That's so big.
02:15Remember for how many years I tried to talk you into going to NYU?
02:19I can barely do high school while I'm racing.
02:26I'm Noah Block.
02:27I'm 17.
02:28I'm from the United States.
02:30And I race at F1 Academy.
02:32I mean, you like the lifestyle of traveling around?
02:35Racing cars?
02:36I mean, it kind of feels like normal.
02:38But now it's just like me driving, which is different.
02:41It's a lot more tiring.
02:43I get why Dad had like his separate hotel room sometimes so he could actually sleep.
02:48My dad was a race car driver as well in Rallycross.
02:52Ken Block, a global Rallycross race winner this year with nearly 350 million YouTube views.
03:01So, motorsport is definitely my first love.
03:05When I was like five or six, I was like, hey, Dad, look, I can touch the pedals.
03:11Watching my dad being in race paddocks, it was a big part of my life.
03:17And I think it just made me know like, oh, yes, this is actually what I want to do.
03:22Leah Block is absolutely flying.
03:25I was 15 when I did my first rally.
03:29And then from there, I won every rally until the end.
03:32And I won the championship.
03:34First female to ever do so.
03:36Will you catch me?
03:38Yeah, I'm a girl and I can still beat you.
03:41Rally and F1, yeah, they're underneath the motorsports umbrella, but it's like comparing apples to oranges.
03:46It's so different.
03:47Such a different driving style.
03:50Rally, you are between this car on the corner.
03:53It's racing against time.
03:55But no, trying F1 Academy and Open Wheel kind of had to scrap everything and start over.
04:03So hard to get around here.
04:06It's definitely a different world than I'm used to.
04:16I'm gonna tell you a little secret.
04:17I didn't know what Good Morning America was a couple weeks ago.
04:22Um, I had to look it up and had my mom tell me what it was.
04:26I was like, you're getting a Good Morning America?
04:28And she's like, what's that?
04:30And I was like, oh, my goodness.
04:32This is making me feel nervous for some reason.
04:35I see a little stress.
04:36You know, I feel like it's just the same thing as like a regular interview, but you just can't mess
04:42up.
04:44I never really wanted to be in front of a camera.
04:46If social media wasn't a thing and just media in general wasn't a thing, I would much rather be just
04:52a race car driver.
04:53But don't tell anybody.
04:56Leah, you are just 17 years old and you're part of this Formula One Academy.
05:00It's for young female drivers.
05:02It must feel really special to be part of something that's just for female drivers.
05:06Yeah, absolutely.
05:06It just gives so much opportunity to females in motorsport and just hopes to bring more in in the future.
05:13The fact that I haven't ever raced in open will before.
05:16I am the one with the least amount of experience.
05:19See ya.
05:19See you in Miami.
05:20I would say the rookie of the rookies, but I have to put all of myself into it and work
05:26as hard as possible.
05:30Along the stunning coastline of the Sunshine State, the city of Miami hosts Formula One and F1 Academy this weekend.
05:40You ready?
05:41Yes.
05:42Hey, guys.
05:43We're in Miami right now.
05:45Welcome.
05:46Welcome to the future.
05:51I honestly feel amazing to be in Miami for F1 Academy.
05:55American tracks are always quite exciting.
05:58Yeah, just can't wait to do it.
06:00Good morning.
06:01It's always a good morning.
06:03If I went back and told all my friends from school that I'm going to be on a Netflix show,
06:07they'd probably all freak out.
06:08Hey, chick, one, two, one, three.
06:11I'm feeling very good.
06:13Very light.
06:15Welcome to the future.
06:18It's more downhill than I thought.
06:21We only have two years in F1 Academy to prove we've got what it takes.
06:25And this is actually my second year, so winning is everything.
06:29Take that cut at a good angle.
06:31So you take this one at a good angle.
06:33This would make or break a lap, this corner.
06:34I just want to go on track now.
06:46Yeah.
06:46That is the track.
06:48Does it make you feel more exciting to actually see it in real life?
06:51Yeah, of course.
06:53Are you nervous to have a race in the United States?
06:56Yeah.
06:58Just because more of your friends and family?
07:00Yeah, I don't want to mess up in front of people.
07:02Don't mess up.
07:03That's my advice.
07:06God, thanks.
07:07What great advice.
07:09Just joking and you're fine.
07:15I get excited thinking about those 15 young drivers racing on the Miami Grand Prix weekend.
07:20But I think there's also a real sense of opportunity there.
07:25We don't want to just be a moment. We want to be a movement.
07:28True.
07:30It's going to be one of the biggest races of the year for us.
07:36I started racing karts at the age of eight.
07:38Early on in my karting career, I raced against Lewis Hamilton at a time where there wasn't a lot of
07:44women in racing, but I managed to make it to the world of Formula One.
07:51And now I want to pass the baton on to inspire the next generation.
07:55It's a big weekend for you.
07:57It is. It's 5 to 10. A lot of people are here, but I'll use it as a steal.
08:02Susie is an absolute legend.
08:04She inspires me.
08:06When she comes to the F1 Academy paddock, I'm like, okay, the bus is here.
08:11Don't think about anything else. Just go out and drive the race.
08:13And then see what comes at the end.
08:16Everyone's on their best behavior around.
08:20The aim of F1 Academy is to give young female drivers the environment where we can really nurture their talent
08:28and inspire many, many more young women and girls to enter motorsports, which is still very male dominated.
08:36I'm so excited to be here. It's going to be great. Thank you.
08:40The drivers get two years in F1 Academy to show what they are capable of.
08:46All good? All really good.
08:48We have all 10 F1 teams and some iconic brands, each supporting a driver.
08:55Everybody's talking about the F1 Academy, and I think it's just the beginning. I think it's going to explode.
09:01The winner will get fully funded to continue racing in the next level, so there's a lot at stake.
09:07Eventually, I want to see a female driver of Formula 1.
09:14Hello.
09:16Have you got a routine now before you're going out in the race?
09:19It's not until I put my helmet on that I get in the headspace too much.
09:23Home territory.
09:23Yeah. There's some fun track this season for us.
09:27I'm really proud of what you're doing. I really am.
09:29I mean, I'm having a lot of fun, so that's always a plus.
09:34Bianca! Bianca!
09:36Bianca!
09:37Bianca, they're asking for you. Like, there's quite a lot of people.
09:40Yeah.
09:40Out the front, they said, is Bianca coming out?
09:43And I said, I don't know where she is.
09:45Yes, you do.
09:47I am always supporting Bianca, because she's my number one.
09:51Her hair's nice.
09:54Bianca's, like, super popular.
09:57Can't think why.
09:59I am a boss.
10:01Oh, that's crazy!
10:04I am Bianca Pustamante. I'm from the Philippines, and I race for McLaren.
10:08I am a boss lady.
10:11That's a lot of people!
10:13Being Filipino, and coming from a family background where we didn't have a lot of money.
10:19Initially, it was always very hard to kind of pursue my passion and love for this sport, because it is
10:24expensive.
10:24So, I've had to learn the business side of motorsport to provide for my racing.
10:29Show me, take a photo!
10:31Through marketing and building my brand, I've got over 3 million followers on social media.
10:38I am a boss lady.
10:40It is an advantage to have social media presence.
10:45It allows you to work with brands and get endorsement deals, which then can help afford the sport.
10:52And it's so paid off, because I'm the first female driver in the McLaren Development Programme.
10:58My job is to be a good racing driver.
11:02Everything I'm doing is just to help me become that racing driver.
11:07All righty guys, we are here with Bianca Bustamante.
11:11Fun fact, the main ingredient in this perfume is actually the national flower of the Philippines.
11:15Sorry for it.
11:17Bianca has got exceptional talent.
11:19I understand that.
11:21Commercially, she has to do the external stuff, but it's quite clear that there is an element of distraction.
11:27Can I see the photos?
11:28She has to recognize that as soon as she puts her race suit on, she needs to focus on the
11:32driving.
11:38Welcome to our crib.
11:40This is where we change, and it's kind of like a little safe space for us to come in and,
11:45like, relax a little bit.
11:47This is Bianca Bustamante, a mix of varying personalities.
11:52Yeah, actually, we're all very different.
11:54Yes.
11:55You tell me what I'm like.
11:56I'll tell you what.
11:57You're, um, very energetic, I would say.
12:01You're loud.
12:02Sometimes.
12:03Actually, Leah's, like, probably, actually, like, the most mature one, I feel.
12:06Like, actually, I'm, like, I'm always the mess.
12:09I'm the chaotic one.
12:10Like, look at her.
12:11All her stuff is hanged.
12:13Mine's not even out my racing bag yet.
12:15It's all, like, in my...
12:16That's why I can't even sit on my own chair, because it's all filled with my stuff.
12:19So I'm sitting on Leah's chair, because her chair is all clean.
12:22Bianca has a very strong personality.
12:25I think when I'm loud, when you're, like, really tired after a session, you're, like...
12:30I'm joking.
12:31Shut up.
12:32She likes to be the center of tension.
12:36And I'm definitely an introvert that has been forced to be an extrovert.
12:41Hey, it's Leah.
12:42Hold on, hold on.
12:42Sorry, and...
12:44Okay.
12:44And, yeah.
12:45Hey, it's Leah.
12:48Sorry.
12:49Growing up in such a known family in the Raleigh world, I think, in a way, it's been a bit
12:53difficult.
12:54Hey, it's Leah.
12:55If I was building a Miami playlist, the first thing I...
12:58Song?
12:58Song?
12:59I used to stay in my room a lot when I was younger.
13:01I didn't like to talk to many people.
13:03So, this whole F1 stuff is kind of a big huzzah.
13:07Song?
13:07Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh!
13:11Song?
13:11It's time to let them know we are unstoppable.
13:16This is how race weekends work in F1 Academy.
13:19There are two races on a weekend.
13:21The first on Saturday.
13:22Then we need to refocus and do it all again on Sunday.
13:24For us, it's about maximizing track time because the more they can drive, the better they get.
13:30In qualifying, each driver's best lap time sets the grid for race one.
13:35The driver's second best lap time sets the grid for race two.
13:38Points are awardless drivers who finish between first and tenth place.
13:42A good start is the first level of anxiety, really.
13:45Big chance of stalling.
13:47Okay. Well, don't do that.
13:51Unlike F1, all the cars are the same.
13:55This is a completely level playing field, so it all comes down to driver performance.
13:59The fastest women on track will win.
14:12After qualifying, we've got our grid for race one.
14:16Abby Pulling is going to be on pole position.
14:18And she is the one to beat here today.
14:21Once you're actually on the grid, everything goes quiet.
14:25You're just on your own.
14:26You have adrenaline pumping through you, but it's just absolute tunnel vision.
14:33Bianca Bustamante has qualified in fourth place and definitely has the pace to push for a top three finish, if
14:38not a win here in Miami.
14:40I don't have any issues with the general pace of Bianca.
14:43The concern at the beginning of the race is getting off the line well, making sure she has a good
14:49first lap.
14:50I'm here to win.
14:51I want to prove it to myself that I've got what it takes, that I'm not just a little girl
14:56from the Philippines.
14:59Leah Block starting 11th on the grid, so she has the chance to make up some places and possibly score
15:05her first points in the academy, which would be a great result for the rookie driver.
15:09When you're in front of your home crowd and my family come from Utah, it definitely puts an extra layer
15:17of expectation.
15:19One minute. One minute.
15:21God, I'm so nervous.
15:23She's never done this. She's never driven on this track.
15:26She doesn't have the experience that the other girls have, but she has such high expectations of herself.
15:31And that, in turn, is not good in the car.
15:35Because when you're frustrated, you hit the gas too hard, you hit the brake too hard, you overdrive.
15:39Let me tell you, the guy's gonna cut you down.
15:50Fifteen drivers will have their eyes on those lights.
15:56The best drivers never say that they're the best out loud. They show it on track.
16:01And that's what I'm here to do.
16:04It lights out and Air Force Academy is underway.
16:12I'm sorry.
16:13Ah.
16:15Bianca Bustamante has stalled the car.
16:18She hasn't started the race. That is a nightmare start.
16:25Got my wrist.
16:27Yes, the back.
16:28I can't believe it.
16:30A real lack of discipline, that.
16:32It's Abby Pelling who comes down into the lead.
16:35Dorian Pat is just behind.
16:37But how frustrating for Bianca Bustamante.
16:40How hard is it, or how easy, I suppose, is it, to stool these cars off the start line?
16:45It is not difficult to make a start in one of these cars.
16:49It's just...
16:51She hasn't done that before.
16:53It's not like it's typical.
16:55Bianca Bustamante is now right at the back of the grid.
16:58In the moment of stalling and all those emotions kind of crashing down on me,
17:03I knew that I made a mistake.
17:05But I just wanted to salvage that race.
17:15Keep it ninth place.
17:22I got a good start, and I got off the line.
17:24There she is, right there.
17:25Go, Liam!
17:29I know what my lines are supposed to be, but I just started making mistakes.
17:34I can't friggin' break it to the left corner.
17:38Okay, try to do your best, but stay on track.
17:41Her problem is she pushes the pedal too hard.
17:43Yeah.
17:43Because, you know, with Rally, your foot goes to the floor.
17:48There she is.
17:52A big crash there from Tina Hausman into the wall,
17:55giving Bianca Bustamante the opportunity to make her way up from last place.
18:01Base is good. Base is good.
18:03Keep pushing. Keep pushing.
18:06Having to fight from the back, I knew that was going to be a tough one.
18:11I just wanted to be back in the points, thinking, how do I take this corner faster?
18:16Bianca Bustamante has just logged the fastest lap time of the day.
18:20It's easy. You've got the pace to fight for the win, but you're never going to win when you stroll.
18:27There she is, right there.
18:29Bianca Bustamante has made her way up the pack,
18:31and is now hot on the heels of Lea Block.
18:37Going down to second gear.
18:39Oh, she's locked up, gone in really deep.
18:48I can't get traction out of the corners.
18:58There's Bianca Bustamante overtaking Lea Block to take Pete's head.
19:03Bustamante got fired.
19:05Lea has to try to follow Bianca.
19:07She's one of the fastest on track.
19:09I think I hyper-focused on the car in front.
19:13Bianca.
19:14And then it happened.
19:30I got in dirty air, and I didn't expect it.
19:33When I turned in, she's understeer, and I spun.
19:36That mistake has cost Lea Block heavily, putting her firmly into last place.
19:42Abby Pulling takes the checkered flag for today's win.
19:46Good job.
19:47Very well done.
19:48What a perfect race.
19:49My only baby!
19:51It's a great recovery drive there from Bianca Bustamante,
19:54from last position to P9.
19:56But with such great race pace,
19:58she must be wondering what could have been
19:59if it wasn't for that mistake on the start line.
20:02It's not the end, I'll start again.
20:06You're leaving now, I won't be left.
20:10I know the pain will turn to gold.
20:18The lack of discipline, concentration, whatever.
20:38It's just infuriating.
20:39The speed is just, like, incredible in the race.
20:48I've had a bad start instead of assault,
20:50because if you had a bad start, I'd have to pass the back.
20:52You learn from it.
20:53As long as you learn from it.
20:54I know, but it's done, it's done.
20:57In an ideal world, as a driver,
21:00you just want to work with your engineer,
21:01and that's all you have to think about.
21:03But when there's other things,
21:05interviews, you know, appearances,
21:07all of that sort of stuff,
21:08which is part of being on an F1 weekend.
21:10You can't avoid it.
21:12But it is potentially a distraction.
21:14And Bianca perhaps gets more attention
21:16than some of the other drivers.
21:29But it's for her to learn how to cope with it as well.
21:33All I had to do was start,
21:34and I could have easily fought for top three.
21:38Seeing the team and their hard work,
21:39I kind of let them down a bit, so...
21:41It's hard to not be sad or to not be frustrated,
21:45but tomorrow is a new day,
21:47and you got to get over it,
21:48and you got to accept the mistakes that you made
21:50to be able to move forward.
21:55Aliyah Block finishes the race in last place.
22:03You don't want water at all?
22:04Well, I'm going to leave it here,
22:05so when you want it, you have it.
22:07You got it.
22:10I was super pissed at myself, you know?
22:13That's not where I want to be.
22:15Do you want to take off your shoes?
22:17Okay.
22:21She's very upset.
22:23She has a lot of pressure on herself,
22:24but there's also a lot of pressure in general.
22:26She has very high expectations,
22:28and she's very disappointed.
22:33She'll be better.
22:36I definitely am frustrated,
22:38but it's nice to have the other drivers
22:41and talk to people that know the situation you're in.
22:47I'm feeling now,
22:49feeling my energy
22:51Cause you brings me up
22:57I mean, coming from, like, rallying,
23:00like, winning every weekend,
23:01and then coming here
23:02and having to relearn everything.
23:05Yeah.
23:05You know?
23:06I mean, it's kind of harsh.
23:08Different word as well.
23:09Yeah, I mean, look what happened.
23:11Yeah, it was a difficult moment,
23:13tough to accept,
23:14but take a step back
23:16and just look at the experience.
23:18You're coming out of this
23:20just much stronger.
23:22I would say my biggest competition is myself.
23:24All these girls have so much more experience
23:26in this type of racing than I do,
23:28so I think it's just playing catch-up,
23:31but I just need to get better.
23:35I feel everything just happens for a reason,
23:37and then even if it's not good,
23:39you just take something out of it.
23:41Yeah.
23:41Yeah.
23:42But I think you're doing well
23:43for someone that is just starting, you know?
23:46Aw, thanks, Lola.
23:47I feel on track,
23:48I overthink so much,
23:50and then Leah,
23:51you, like, just, you know,
23:52You don't think it would.
23:54You don't think, you know,
23:55you just, you know.
23:56It's good to know the drivers
23:58outside of the track.
23:59With Leah,
24:00we kind of created a friendship,
24:02and me and Lola,
24:03we're very good friends.
24:04We just get along.
24:06On track,
24:07we know that we both want to beat each other,
24:09but it's a lot of respect.
24:12I mean, everybody's a competitor
24:14on and off track,
24:15but they're always, like, certain rivals.
24:18Everyone.
24:18I feel so good.
24:21I'm Lola Lovin Foss,
24:22and I hope this is filmed for Netflix.
24:27I'm sponsored by Charlotte Tigray.
24:30The car.
24:32Helmet.
24:32Gloves.
24:33I have special Charlotte Tigray names.
24:35Feeling so good,
24:36like we're making a deposit.
24:40I'm a racing driver,
24:41but I like to look feminine.
24:43This is just giving you power,
24:46and I'm proud about it.
24:50So, if you would have told me a year ago
24:52you're going to represent
24:54a makeup brand in motorsport,
24:56I would have never believed it.
24:59I'm here to race, to win.
25:02When I push for something,
25:04I'm giving 100%.
25:06On track, I can be quite aggressive.
25:11For me, it's really difficult
25:12to manage my emotions.
25:14If I have a crash,
25:15I'm not going to be angry.
25:16I'm going to be very angry.
25:18I never had any other thing in my mind
25:21than to be a Formula One driver.
25:23But, I mean,
25:24if I don't believe that I can win,
25:26who is going to believe it?
25:39That was like the worst feeling ever yesterday,
25:42and I'm not looking through Instagram right now.
25:44No, no, no.
25:44Avoiding social media.
25:46Just to not get distracted, obviously.
25:48Not let any external things
25:50factor into your results.
25:52I've already done the worst thing
25:53I can possibly do, you know?
25:55I have nothing to lose.
25:58I didn't eat last night.
26:00What?
26:02Just because I did bad yesterday.
26:03It's okay, it's done,
26:04but we'll just make sure
26:05that we have plenty of food today,
26:07if we can, please.
26:10Don't put any pressure on yourself.
26:13It's not how it works.
26:14I know.
26:16It's so hard mentally
26:17to go from winning
26:19to coming down
26:20and having to work my way back
26:22up through the field
26:23in this totally different discipline.
26:26But growing up,
26:27my mom,
26:28she never said I couldn't do anything.
26:30And same with my dad.
26:31No matter what we did,
26:32he was always there to support us.
26:35We used to always watch F1 together on the TV,
26:37so I think he'd be excited
26:40that I'm going in at a different way.
26:44My dad used to say, like,
26:46every opportunity you get
26:47is, like, another tool in your toolbox.
26:50And I think that is kind of what swayed my decision
26:53to go the F1 Academy route.
27:00Some very sad news
27:01coming from the world of motorsports.
27:03Race car driver Ken Block
27:05has sadly passed away
27:06following a snowmobile accident
27:08near his home in Utah.
27:10He was only 55 years old.
27:14Ken obviously was very competitive,
27:16quiet, not an extrovert.
27:19He was an introvert.
27:21He was very good as a race dad.
27:25She'd listen to him, so.
27:28It's, uh, definitely hard not having him here,
27:32but, you know, I think
27:35she wanted to chase her own path anyway,
27:37and that's what she's doing.
27:39It's coming in phases now
27:44Memories of you
27:48I carry my last name
27:50with so much pride all the time.
27:51But now, like, biggest drive
27:54is to make my own name
27:55in this motorsport world.
27:58I will do anything to make it there.
28:01For sure.
28:07It's race two here in Miami,
28:10and all of the drivers
28:11will be hoping to build
28:12on their performances from yesterday.
28:15Abby Pulling starts on pole position
28:17yet again.
28:19Lola Lavinfoss finished 10th in race one
28:21and starts today in 11th place.
28:23When I get in the car,
28:25I disconnect with everything.
28:27I'm not thinking about anything, anyone,
28:31just what I need to do.
28:33Full focus.
28:35Nothing can stop me.
28:38Leah Block will be looking to make amends
28:40after yesterday's spin on track,
28:41starting 12th on the greats.
28:43As a race car driver,
28:44your goal is to win.
28:46I know I can in rally,
28:47but this is a whole different world.
28:52Bianca Bistamante has qualified
28:53in second place.
28:55That launch sets the tone
28:57for the whole of the race, really.
28:58Just have a clean race,
28:59no mistakes,
29:01show good pace,
29:02and then the rest of it
29:03take care of itself.
29:04I know what I need.
29:06I know what to focus on.
29:08That race, not just for me,
29:10but for my family.
29:11If I fail,
29:12then I fail my country.
29:14I fail all of my parents' sacrifices.
29:16I can't afford to make the same mistake.
29:32The lights go out.
29:33F1 Academy is underway
29:35here in Miami once again.
29:37That was a really good start.
29:41Yes.
29:53Obviously, bringing a point home
29:55on home soil for Leah Block
29:57would mean everything
29:58to her and the team.
30:01Lola Lovin-Foss
30:02is putting Aurelia Nobles
30:03under pressure.
30:05She'll have to go defensive here.
30:08Stay for business.
30:09Stay care.
30:10Stay care.
30:11Do you throw out at you?
30:13I had a good pace
30:15during the race.
30:16I think Lola,
30:17I mean,
30:17she was very close
30:18all the time,
30:19but I think she was never
30:20close enough
30:21to actually
30:22make the move.
30:24I'm a race taker.
30:26I have everything
30:27to gain.
30:28Nothing to lose.
30:30Will she be able
30:32to make the move
30:32going into the next turn?
30:44Holy s***!
30:45I'm a team.
30:46Okay, focus,
30:47Aurelia, focus.
30:48You can restart.
30:50Yeah.
30:54Leah Block
30:54taking advantage
30:55of that incident
30:56to move up the field.
30:58There she is.
30:59Come on, baby.
31:04Abby is approaching
31:05the finish line.
31:08And it is a
31:09lights-to-flag victory,
31:10not once,
31:11but twice here
31:12for Abby Pulling.
31:14Good job, Abby.
31:15Unbelievable.
31:16As long as I'll get
31:17by Abby Pulling.
31:18Good start.
31:21Bianca Bustamante is in P2.
31:23One more straight to go,
31:25but with Dorian Powell
31:26right behind her,
31:27what's going to happen?
31:28I'm actually under pressure now.
31:32Can she do it
31:33in these last few moments
31:34of lap 13 of the race?
31:41Bianca Bustamante finishes
31:43in P2.
31:49Freaking good drive.
31:50What a good drive.
31:53Really good.
31:54Oh, my God.
31:55Oh, my God.
31:57Really happy with that.
31:58She'll be flipping
31:59high as a kite now.
32:01So, rightly so as well.
32:05P2.
32:05Well done.
32:06Brilliant, sir.
32:07First one,
32:08you haven't seen this.
32:09Too many more.
32:11Leoblock crosses the line
32:13in 10th place,
32:14securing her first point
32:16in F1 Academy.
32:17Uh, not an easy race.
32:19Monster off.
32:20Monster off?
32:20Yeah.
32:22Miami was not
32:23a good race for me.
32:26I got one point,
32:28but that's not the expectations
32:30I set for myself.
32:32So, it was very frustrating,
32:34but I think I have
32:35to be patient with it.
32:37I think I lost myself in you.
32:41I was really, really upset,
32:42really angry.
32:45Lola hit me,
32:46and at that point,
32:46I knew it would be
32:47impossible to get points.
32:50When I came out of the car,
32:51in my mind,
32:53angry, sad,
32:55frustrated.
32:55There are no friends
32:56in this battle.
32:57Missing that podium.
32:58I wanted it so bad.
33:01Oh!
33:03Oh!
33:03Into the black,
33:04oh!
33:05Oh!
33:05Oh, my God!
33:06It's crazy!
33:06Oh, oh!
33:07Second place!
33:08Yeah, no, Mr. Martin!
33:10I'm happy.
33:11I feel like
33:12every race I go to
33:14or go through,
33:15there's always
33:16things to learn from.
33:21Well done.
33:22It's great.
33:23Finally, I started.
33:24I'm so happy.
33:25Yesterday,
33:25you put my cart.
33:28Well done.
33:29It's pretty, really good.
33:30So happy for you.
33:31I'll see you all.
33:33Wow!
33:37Well done.
33:38Awesome, eh?
33:39I'm lucky to have my team,
33:41my coach, Warren.
33:42I'm very close with him.
33:44Good start.
33:45Good start.
33:46He's allowed me to better myself
33:48and be the best version of myself
33:50as a driver and as a person.
33:51And I think having a person like that
33:54will make such a huge difference
33:55in your life.
33:56Are you old enough to drink champagne?
33:57No, it's not champagne.
33:59It's just sparkling water.
34:02This year,
34:02it's a very pivotal year
34:04in my career.
34:05I could be on the podium,
34:06but I want to win a championship.
34:08Congratulations!
34:12And now,
34:12I know who my biggest competition is.
34:16Yeah!
34:17I just felt in touch with you, man.
34:19Oh, that was so good.
34:21So good.
34:22Well done.
34:23Winning is everything.
34:24There's only one name
34:25that goes on the trophy
34:26at the end of the year
34:27and it's remembered.
34:27If you're second,
34:28you're the first loser.
34:33I think I've got
34:33the biggest target
34:35on my back.
34:37I know people
34:38won't be trying
34:39to outdo me,
34:41but I'm not here
34:41to make up the numbers.
34:43I'm here to beat everyone.
34:48What a sensational final lap.
34:50This is our last chance.
34:52It's not just me
34:53that I'm racing for
34:53at the end of the day.
34:54I'm racing for my family.
35:09I'm racing here
35:11alongside my sister.
35:13I'm very competitive with her.
35:16Oh, it's better then.
35:18Oh, it's great.
35:21The thought of this
35:22being my last year
35:23in the sport
35:24breaks my heart into pieces.
35:25I don't want to see the rest.
35:28Oh, no!
35:29If you can't hack it
35:30in F1 Academy,
35:32you are not going on
35:33to a career in motorsport.
35:34No!
35:36No!
35:36No!
35:37We want to render
35:39the white deck
35:41running with the wind
35:44deep in the shadows
35:46the promise
35:48the past
35:50that ends within
35:51place another day
35:55give it all it takes
35:57and don't give it up
35:58living in love
36:00the rain
36:00rising up against
36:02fighting on the edge
36:04waking up on
36:05an arboretum
36:07day
36:10going.
