00:00The Bruins lose this series. If you're describing the season from the beginning and how you thought it was going
00:08to start until where we are now with them out of the playoffs, can you kind of give us your
00:13thoughts as a whole?
00:14Yeah, I was one of those people who didn't think there'd be a playoff team this year.
00:19I thought with that roster turnover at the deadline last year and a new coach coming in, implementing new systems,
00:25I figured a playoff spot was a long shot.
00:29But early on in the season, kind of from the first win in Washington that night, I said, wow, they
00:35really bought into the structure.
00:37This is going to be a playoff team. And then they went out and lost like seven straight. I said,
00:42this team's in trouble.
00:43So it was definitely a roller coaster season. But I thought the resiliency they showed was really good.
00:51But, you know, they, you know, kind of a new leadership core with McAvoy and Pasta taking on a, you
00:57know, a bigger role in that leadership.
00:59They obviously they had been alternative captains before, but I thought they did a nice job, you know, bringing this,
01:05you know, a bunch of new guys together and a new system together.
01:08So, you know, while it was, it was disappointing because I thought they'd win this series, I think overall you
01:14have to, you know, you have to be pretty, you know, pretty happy with this season, whether you're, whether you
01:19work for the Bruins or you root for the Bruins.
01:21All right. So at the end of the game, McAvoy gets the slew foot against them and he goes over
01:27and he has that major slash.
01:30Josh, what is your feeling on what he did and what the repercussions are going to be?
01:38Yeah, I'm not defending by any means what he did, but I understand, understand that, that, you know, slew footings,
01:44a dangerous thing.
01:46You know, guys have been suspended for that in the past.
01:48Marshawn had been suspended a couple of times with the Bruins for that.
01:52You know, I thought that the time of the game where the game was pretty much over was a minute
01:55and something left.
01:56And, you know, it was kind of weaselly moved, but that certainly doesn't, you know, excuse Charlie from, from jumping
02:01up and, and, you know, two hands slashing the guy across the, across the arms.
02:06But I understood the emotions of it.
02:08And, but I think he's probably in for, you know, a multiple game suspension because of it.
02:13And, you know, I think, I think he's, you know, when talking to him yesterday, he seems pretty resigned to
02:18the fact that, that, that something's like that's going to happen.
