00:05In particular, as you have, we are in charge within the Alliance Pioneer to support and
00:11define the strategy for research.
00:13This document, this strategy is particularly important for two main reasons.
00:19The first reason is that we can support the partners to develop new research projects
00:26within the topic of SDGs 11, strategy connected to sustainable cities and community in particular,
00:33in collaboration maybe also with local authorities, regional governments, cities that are already
00:39part of the Alliance as supporting members.
00:41At the same time, we can reorient the activities of the Alliance in strict relationship with
00:48the new strategy for research of the European Union.
00:50European Union and European Commission in particular are defining the FP10 that it will be crucial
00:57to support initiatives of research at European level within the Alliance and with the members
01:03of the Alliance in the next few years, in particular in the phase between 2008-2028 and 2032.
01:12It's a fundamental passage because we can compete at European level with a strong partnership
01:18and a large member's capacity to operate at European level from all the disciplines and all the perspectives.
