00:05oh my god across the united states this is full dude buried in out of control hordes
00:16holy amen there are treasures you can't even begin to imagine oh my god i'm matt paxton
00:25and my team and i are cleaning out properties rain and poop looking for big scores one of a kind
00:32we found gold for our clients and ourselves and if my instincts are right i think this is legit
00:41everyone wins 82 000 so all i can say is wow you give me my house back 110 000 i
00:49can't believe this
00:49is the same house 320 000 oh my gosh
01:03all right here we are guys in bolivar ohio we're like an hour from uh nfl hall of fame
01:10it's a cool country town yeah so this is one of the white whales i have been talking to this
01:15family
01:15for about five years trying to get in and they're finally ready to consider it okay i hear that
01:22there's collections everywhere potential client's name is jamie this is her own house but he's got
01:28some medical scares so she needs every penny that she can get to fund his health care this man
01:32invented the atm machine and the self-checkout machine whoa so this dude's like a mad scientist
01:39inventor he's like doc brown we might find a flux capacitor in this place
01:44i smell it it smells really bad i'm afraid to walk on things because i might break something
01:52i just want to give up hi i'm jamie strayer my uncle tom is more than an uncle he's a
01:58best friend
01:59and a mentor he is one of the most prolific corporate inventors in the history of the united
02:04states he has the patents on the atm machine the gas pump checkout the self-checkout at the grocery
02:11store it's the home of a mad scientist everything i'm hearing is getting me excited yeah the treasures
02:17in this house are a symphony of generational collections my uncle collected pinball machines
02:23jukeboxes slot machines pinball machines that a few years ago were selling for you know a thousand
02:31two thousand dollars are now five to six maybe even up to ten thousand due to the resurgence of
02:37nostalgia gaming and new generations wanting to collect them my concern is they haven't been picked
02:41apart for parts right the legend is there's rolex watches under these mound of boxes i can see how he
02:50could lose a box of rolexes in this house three years ago he was diagnosed with alzheimer's so
02:58the ultimate plan is to sell the house this money will be a gift to our family to help pay
03:04for the
03:05care that he needs and the better life that he deserves matt please come to bolivar i really
03:10really need your help i'm excited rolexes jukeboxes jukeboxes pinball sign me up dude that's a good
03:21saturday night that is a damn good saturday night uncle tom's like the most interesting guy in the world
03:27he was a builder he had patents he was an inventor i know he has great stuff but our big
03:31ticket items
03:32are the whirlifter jukebox pinball machines and a rolex watch collection
03:40look at this man wow that's pretty cool
03:43hi james jamie good to see you very good to see you all right this is the whole team
03:48how you doing hey guys we watched the video it's pretty intense i think let's just jump into it can
03:53you and i tour the house and i'll let them go around back yeah we'll meet up afterwards all right
03:58all right we'll see you guys in a little bit all right look at this all right welcome yeah
04:05to my uncle's humble abode all right jamie's uncle tom was an inventor so he saw the opportunity and
04:12everything he didn't see an object for what it is he saw it for what it could be but my
04:17job is to see
04:17the reality and is this scrap or can i sell it for money wait a minute is this a waterbed
04:30that is old school man it is it's like 1970s or 80s so waterbeds are really frustrating because
04:41clients have fond memories of them there's nothing fond about them it's like having a car that i have
04:46to move out of a living room filled with water they're a nightmare and all they do is cost me
04:52money all right let's keep looking see what else we got some of my uncle's favorite items are in
04:57here okay so this is the cockpit yes it's kind of funny because it actually looks like a cockpit
05:02that's literally what we call it we call it a cockpit so everything he would do would be right here
05:06cockpit is where the most needed items for the hoarder today exist it's not where the treasure is
05:12not an x marks the spot in fact i've never found the treasures that simply in the hoarder's cockpit
05:19cell phones their chargers their medicine their keys the things they need to still function on a
05:24daily basis and so it should give us a hint into his daily behaviors that should lead us towards some
05:31of the treasures he really is into cool old lights and some of his favorite stained glass pieces are in
05:38here stained glass is valuable for a lot of reasons one is it's a lost art form it's made by
05:42hand it's not
05:43mass-produced they become more rare every year so their value continues to increase and it's extremely
05:48easy to sell i mean this is pretty sweet all right whoa whoa pinballs holy cow this is the orbiter
05:59one
05:59from the 80s ready for your next mission time to take on the orbiter one orbiter one was released by
06:07stern electronics in 1982 and it was one of the most unusual and experimental pinball machines ever
06:13built with the concept originating from designers with nasa backgrounds it featured a 3d moonscape
06:20that caused the ball to orbit unpredictably the design and gameplay of this machine is so rare and
06:25unique that serious collectors and historians jump at the chance to find them in 2022 an original orbiter
06:32one went to auction for nearly thirteen thousand dollars ah man but it doesn't look good yeah this
06:39is definitely not what you want to see inventors love taking things apart and jamie's uncle was no
06:44different but these pinball machines are just like classic cars they're worth way more when they're in
06:50perfect working order and sure everybody loves a good restoration project but we all know the real value
06:56here is in a perfectly working machine you know the reality is these may just be for parts at this
07:02point but even if they are that's still money but if all the pieces are here and if we can
07:08get them
07:08back together we can sell them for much more all right cool
07:16i never in my life seen this many hawaiian shirts
07:21what occasion is it okay to wear this like it's ridiculous the amount of shirts he has
07:28he can go on vacation for three years straight and never wear the same shirt twice
07:33mike good luck on selling these
07:38it says toxic yes do not open do we know what's in there no so we don't know that it's
07:44scientifically
07:46toxic toxic fridge come on like i've seen a few of these things i'm not that worried
07:51i wouldn't open it without a mask on okay i think that could be a problem but the guy was
07:57a scientist
07:57maybe we should listen a little bit my hunch is it's a diversion don't look in here look somewhere
08:03else what do i want to do i want to look in there all that being said this isn't horrible
08:08is there like a worse space than this the worst space is the office all right let's go check that
08:14out
08:16this is a room that i have many fond memories in as his you know crazy inventor office yeah okay
08:23wow
08:23so let's talk about this whirlitzer that is the happy days yes it is oh it's beautiful all right
08:31hey come on man this dance is on me
08:37the fonds from happy days always knew how to get the party going and it all started with the jukebox
08:43these machines exploded in popularity from the 1940s through the 1960s becoming the glowing
08:50centerpiece of diners soda shops and dance halls across the country among collectors and lovers
08:56of vintage americana whirlitzer jukeboxes are considered the gold standard thanks to their iconic
09:01open cabinet design that lets you watch the magic happen that blend of engineering and showmanship is why
09:08whirlitzer still come in big value today recently a whirlitzer model 950 from 1942 sold for over 22 000
09:18that's a beautiful p i mean honestly that was one of the things in the video that got me excited
09:22i mean there's some nice stuff in here man wow and there is definitely somewhere
09:28a box of rolex watches okay so recap me here like what is our goal for this entire house
09:34what do we need to have empty the house out completely so that i can rent it or sell it
09:39and then all the money that we'd make off of selling anything i need it to pay for his long
09:44time so you really need us to empty the house and sell everything we can absolutely okay well he's got
09:49good stuff all right i'm gonna go find the guys and then i'll meet you back in the living room
09:53and we'll put
09:54a deal together thanks man all right thank you thank you this is a fascinating hoard the jukebox
10:00is really good and honestly i think the stained glass is really good then we hear rumors of rolexes
10:05silver jewelry i mean there's just there's a lot here there's a lot going on in this house oh yeah
10:10i kind of like it all right what did you guys see in the back a bunch of uh hawaii
10:14shirts like tons
10:15and tons it's thousands you know my concern is these pinball jukebox machines like do they work
10:23if they're just for parts that's a huge difference than if they work i mean i will say she wants
10:28the
10:28entire house emptied so they can sell it but there's a lot of trash in there we can't do this
10:32in three
10:33days just getting rid of the waterbed could take a whole day itself and plus i got to figure out
10:38how
10:38to get rid of this toxic fridge i need extra days like it needs an extra two days all right
10:42so five
10:43days what's that going to do to cost around 15. okay you know we saw most of the target items
10:49on the tour
10:50they're definitely a little more beat up not the value that we had hoped but i'm telling you i'm
10:54looking around and my gut is telling me we're gonna find a lot of value in this home but if
10:59we don't
10:59find any additional items we'll be in a lot of trouble i mean for me to lose money at the
11:04house
11:04of the guy that invented the atm that'd be pretty embarrassing all right i'm gonna go see if we can
11:09make a deal that makes sense for all of us and i'll see you guys in a few minutes all
11:12right all right
11:13all right there is a lot of work to do here yeah we think it's going to cost about 15
11:23grand
11:24to clean it out for us to do the whole property we're going to do five days
11:28but we think there's probably 50 to 60 000 in revenue here so because there's so much work
11:34we'd love to be at a 50 50 split i was hoping for more because i have to take care
11:38of my uncle's
11:39long-term health care 60 40 60 40 you got a deal thanks all right i'm gonna go get the
11:48guys we're
11:49gonna get started thank you thanks matt
11:55all right thanks for coming how you doing man hey i'm so excited to pick through this house we're
12:01not gonna waste any time getting started so chris and i are headed to the living room to focus on
12:06the
12:06cockpit and see if we can't find those missing coins and rolexes that jamie mentioned meanwhile mike
12:11and kaylin are gonna hunt in the pinball room and hopefully find those missing parts so we can up their
12:16value all right kaylin we're looking for anything pinball related spare flippers bumpers manuals
12:24maybe even a soundboard all right whoa whoa whoa whoa check it out i've never seen this toy in person
12:37before this is obviously the flintstones now boy all right kate there it is this is kind of interesting
12:49this is like i think like time codes green belted delta rue vacuum picker motion he's like testing
12:57stuff look at this money shoe i'm really excited by what we're finding but jamie's uncle has a bunch of
13:03different collections scattered everywhere and trying to find small delicate pinball parts mixed
13:09in at all is no easy task so taking our time and being extra thorough is our top priority
13:17pinball glass oh that's what it is hell yeah this pinball machine we found the glass that goes up top
13:26so that's great oh yeah dude i can hear them finding good stuff in there man man it's definitely got
13:35a
13:35lot of mice back here i don't know about what you're finding chris mice droppings uh i can smell it
13:42all right this is more inventory most valuable things are interesting but every interesting thing
13:48isn't necessarily valuable so far this house is filled with interesting things that are not very valuable
13:54oh yeah man look at me and my job here today is to clean the house out by selling things
14:00and
14:00currently i haven't found anything i can sell so my costs are going up and my profits going down
14:07you're checking pockets hey let's try to make this a little more uh oh wait a minute what is this
14:28that stock man so these stocks are from diebold it's a company that's famous for bank atms and
14:34vaults and he worked for diebold and actually created the atm when he worked for diebold and so
14:39it makes sense that he was issued these stocks while he worked there as far back as the early 80s
14:45when
14:45you bought equity in a company you actually got issued a stock certificate now everything is digital
14:50but these are still valid they're still real this is cash money we just have to redeem them this gets
14:56me extremely excited that's a 4 400 piece of paper right there man oh forty four hundred dollars that's
15:04we need that's awesome good job a little bit of everything over here man this is amazing this place
15:19didn't catch on fire it's day two here in our patent pandemonium house and we're just scratching
15:25the surface of digging through this hoard we still don't know if we can get our pinball machines and
15:29jukebox up and running so it's vital that we uncover any additional hidden treasures including those
15:34missing rolexes boxes and stuff that's all look that's all covered in rat poop last night chris and
15:41i finished hunting in the living room and now we're setting our sights on the office it's like that
15:46trash compactor room in uh star wars it just keeps growing this is a tough room to say the least
16:02oh boom ronald reagan that is sweet this is a good year
16:11blimp that you blow up into remote control look at that money well not about you but mine's getting
16:20gross over here i'm getting into some serious pee i'm not sure what i can really save everything over
16:27here is eating up i'm getting rat poop all over here i smell it do you smell it man it
16:35reeks over here
16:37all right so this is all eaten up by uh oh bam here's some watches
16:44come on man please be a rolex what's the brand on that fossils yeah all right no go on these
16:52you
16:53know unfortunately these are everyday watches they're nice watches they're worth a little bit
16:56of money but they are not a rolex more watches so far on this job our costs are going up
17:02but our
17:03profit is going the opposite way and if we fall behind too early we're going to be playing defense
17:07for the rest of the job well let's see if we can work out a deal for all three items
17:16okay did you
17:17go 275 all right my man all right you got a deal all right perfect thank you so much i
17:22got cash right here
17:27let's see this this one doesn't have a tag you know this reminds me of the episode of saved by
17:32the bell you know what it reminds me of the brady bunch oh of course you went back too far
17:41it's a lot of shirts so so as in we so you see plastic and potentially coconut okay all right
17:49those are definitely worth way more than plastic hawaiian shirts first emerged in the 1930s when
17:55hawaiian tailors began experimenting with bright japanese kimono fabrics and bold tropical prints
18:02after world war ii servicemen returning from hawaii brought the trend back to the mainland
18:06and the shirts exploded in popularity over the years hawaiian shirts have been featured in countless
18:13forms of entertainment and collectors seek out the rarest ones they can find at auction tom sellick's
18:19original red jungle bird shirt from the show magnum pi sold for seven thousand two hundred dollars
18:27these can be big money so let's make a pile all the hawaiian clothes from the non-hawaiian clothes
18:32with all the shirts we found in the house and the dozens more we found in the pinball room this
18:38hawaiian shirt collection is really awesome this could be worth five thousand dollars or more and
18:42hopefully this is just the tip of the iceberg these are cash boxes for atms
18:55oh man no cash and talk about a guy who took his work home with them
19:01we need to find our atms that's trash all right wait a minute look at that
19:11it's tiny but it's gold probably like 1500 bucks believe it or not there's a lot of silver in here
19:18i never want to leave a room down i like to make either break even or make a little profit
19:22in each
19:22section of the house thank god we found silver and gold coins in this room that gave us
19:27a lot more room to breathe more gold one two three four five six grams of gold we didn't find
19:35the
19:35rolexes but we were able to pull some cash out of this room so this is the momentum we needed
19:39to
19:39get to our overall goal these are some good ass coins thousands of dollars i love it
19:48we've got 87 watches in the collection i'm at 1500 i think i can do that awesome thank you sir
19:58this is gonna be fun fun fun fun day two is winding down and we're still nowhere near our
20:05fifty thousand dollar goal but we ain't giving up yet march 27 2013 was the aspiration date it
20:12never been open but the can is completely empty so while i continue to hunt in the office i'm gonna
20:16have chris start attacking the kitchen is this a dead mouse i'm pretty sure it's probably more laying
20:24around under this stuff so obviously we need to move the fridge let's talk about the obvious that
20:40thing says hazard and toxic this is a decoy they're saying look over here don't look here i don't
20:45think that's a decoy bro i'm telling you something in there now that chris has cleaned out most of
20:50the kitchen the only thing left to do is clear out the toxic fridge i'm kind of excited about it
20:54the guys are not one two three go come on please come on hurry up this mouse oh i got
21:08some bacon
21:10this is a weird job you gotta look for very small pockets of joy and for me when my guys
21:17freak out
21:18and throw up that brings me joy oh that egg oh i just threw up in my mouth look at
21:24these things oh my
21:25god please what did i tell you man this mess is not working look at this this is why you
21:32go through
21:32the fridge whoa oh man all right let's see what's in here oh my god look at this gold coins
21:41oh my god
21:42oh man i told you we found some gold man this is the perfect win for us like i mean
21:50it literally
21:50felt like uncle tom created a fear factor challenge for us and i accept the damn challenge man if you
21:58wanted to steal this stuff uh you gotta really want it three ounces here gold is about five thousand
22:05dollars that's 15 grand oh my god please finding all this gold is totally worth the smell
22:11no it's not i'm dying over here let's do it i hated one mess right but we found a lot
22:17of gold in this
22:17fridge so jokes on me people had this stuff in crazy spots but hallelujah the fridge is gone hey you
22:25just made them a lot of freaking money now that we conquered the toxic fridge we can officially move on
22:30from the kitchen our next demon to tackle is that water bed in the bedroom but that's a fight for
22:36another day we might have earned it on that one oh no look at this let's plug her in see
22:48if anything
22:49comes on oh hey now the spinning lights seem to be working on both sides which is great oh man
22:59this
22:59jukebox only plays 78 records are categorized by how fast they spin measured in revolutions per minute
23:07or rpms 33 is the record that most people know it's pretty big and usually used for full albums
23:13a 45 is the small one at seven inches with just a song or two on each side like old
23:18school singles
23:19and 78s are the really old heavy ones from before modern vinyl they came in all sizes but the most
23:25common size was 10 inches all right the amplifier is missing we'll have to look around and see if
23:32we can find it because right now this won't play records and make noise like it's just lighting up
23:37and that's about all it's gonna do all right you're the silver guy yeah i've been flipping stuff never
23:46got into coins this is a good starter set i think what's unique for you is there's probably 20 coins
23:51in
23:51here that'll be highly collectible that you're going to want to hold on to you have some buffalo
23:55nickels bunch of buffalo nickels over here and these are 90 silver 90 silver okay so if i wanted
24:02to buy everything honestly i'm looking hopefully for 2500 for all of it all right sweet let's do it
24:09you got a deal man all right perfect thank you
24:16all right come on in we didn't have much luck finding the missing pinball parts so i called in
24:21some local experts to let me know if we have any shot at repairing these machines
24:27these guys have been in the business for almost 50 years and they're some of the top experts in
24:31the field first in line we have star wars a lot of the uh the parts are in the wrong
24:41spot here but
24:43it's it's missing the soundboard but the flippers seem to work i'm gonna rough it give you a rough
24:48estimate probably about three grand as it sits wow if it was working it would probably sell for
24:54six grand well how about this the black knight oh this one's got the broken back glass yeah
25:00these are pretty rough yeah to restore it takes us about 40 or more hours to restore wow it's a
25:08big
25:08ordeal it's a big process i gotta be honest hearing how much work it's going to take to get these
25:13pinball
25:14machines restored is discouraging it would take weeks to get these done but we're already on day
25:20three of a five-day project so we just don't have time all right so what is this worth in
25:25this state
25:26probably about fifteen hundred dollars okay this game why don't we see what we can do on the other
25:31machines the this isn't going to come on because the power supply is not connected burned up that
25:37connector connector so it's never going to plug in okay what do you think this thing is worth in present
25:42condition i'd say probably about 800 800 bucks okay well how about this let me see if this changes
25:49the value at all brand new that's fantastic yeah that's a great backlash brand new how does this
25:55change oh well at least add 300 to it so about 1100 hey before you go we have one more
26:02to look at
26:02over here thankfully this one is in the best shape of them all what do you know about orbiter one
26:08uh it's
26:09the last stern pinball made i've only had one in the whole time i've been doing this it's in a
26:14really hard pinball to sell because if you were a family buying a pinball you want a regular pinball
26:21this is so unique if you're a collector and you have a number of them it's cool how much is
26:26this worth
26:27to us not a lot knowing how much these pinball machines would be worth if we had the time to
26:33restore
26:33them it's just a massive punch in the gut there's still money to be made here but finding the buyer
26:39who's going to put the time and money into restoring these is a tall task
26:44look at this pop culture man this is great low-mo pop culture lights this will do
27:01all right 150 bucks oh that's a killer all right there was one thing over here oh man
27:10really curious what this is
27:18uh-oh it's got a hum to it man look at this i know what this is gonna be
27:24oh my god look at this oh man i feel like i'm in pulp fiction here it's beautiful
27:35uh-oh it's got a hum to it man look at this i know what this is gonna be
27:41oh my god look at this oh it's a neon test kit i can hear that hum this would be
27:52from like the 70s
27:53or 60s this would be a traveling salesman's kit for neon so if you were gonna if he was gonna
27:59sell
28:00you neon signs he would turn this on and show you what it looks like and you would pick which
28:05color you
28:06wanted oh this is amazing i have never seen anything like this in my life it's incredible
28:13if you look at the plug here in the back that's going to date it to the pre-50s
28:20this is so cool and after i've gotten to know jamie's uncle i can totally see why he dug this
28:30we've got three pinball machines here we've got future spa star wars and black knight
28:35and then over there we've got orbiter one me and my dad we had a couple growing up in our
28:39basement
28:40it's kind of one of our hobbies that me and him share together and i should make them all nice
28:44and
28:44then he can help us on electrical oh that's awesome yeah to give you an idea of where i'm at
28:48i'd like to
28:49get seven thousand dollars for all of them four was my starting number oh yeah okay um you know i
28:59can
28:59have a little bit of wiggle room if it helps you out it'll come down to 6400 you got a
29:03deal deal
29:05i think that works for me man thank you congratulations when i first heard about
29:09these machines i was hoping we were going to get 20 to 30 grand for them but none of them
29:15work we don't
29:15have the time to fix them and we only have three days left to get whatever we can for them
29:20we made some
29:21money and got them off the property that's a win-win for me our time at this patented hoard has
29:34been
29:34flying but with just two days left there's still plenty to do in our efforts to reach fifty thousand
29:39dollars in profit all right i got something amazing for you look at this it's just the coolest thing man
29:46now is this for a personal collection or what yeah it would be for my part okay believe it or
29:51not
29:51i'm thinking a thousand bucks for this thousand bucks quite honestly i've never seen one before
29:56and i've been i've been doing this a long time would you go 800 i don't think so i think
30:03i'm pretty
30:04i'm pretty firm at a at a thousand i mean i just i know i'll get it somewhere i will
30:08throw this in
30:09okay i love betty boop i would do then all three of these for 1100 i'll do that you got
30:16it
30:16i do we're good man all right congrats this is a pain in the butt all right you got the
30:25hose
30:26it's got to go all the way outside while we wait for other buyers to show up the team and
30:30i are
30:31going to work on getting that massive water bed out of the bedroom so get that all the way to
30:35the
30:36curb because this is going to be some nasty nasty water is it draining it should be draining
30:42this water is not moving we'll be here all day this water bed is a nightmare to move
30:48this water's heavy we probably have a 2 000 pound water bladder it won't lift up to drain out it
30:54is
30:55like moving a dead whale is anything coming nothing's coming up to it i mean this is one two three
31:00four
31:00five it's about 500 bucks an hour to do this i think we should just move on just start taking
31:05the
31:05frame apart because this is going to be an all-day process let's do that my man's right
31:13it's almost impossible to take it apart the wood is reinforced 10 different times with a hundred
31:19different screws i just don't want it to cut the bed we had to literally just use brute force to
31:26break
31:27this apart okay break it bro i'm just breaking it down
31:35there is a reason we don't have water beds anymore because after the ones from the 70s started breaking
31:41nobody ever wanted to move them again oh me dude just gotta go into beast mode caitlin sometimes
31:51the first one is thanks for coming out jesse thanks thanks for calling me uh of course you are
31:56my hawaiian shirt queen jamie's uncle's hawaiian shirt collection is never ending and i've lined up a
32:03buyer who owns a chain of high-end vintage shops and with this volume she's my best bet to unload
32:09all of
32:09them by the way can we just address the fact we're looking at hawaiian shirts in a snowstorm in ohio
32:15yes
32:17if you told me i was going to do this today i would have never agreed so we have the
32:22800 in the
32:22house that you've already seen okay we've got a hundred or so out here i'd love to work out a
32:28deal
32:28for all the shirts i do not think i've ever seen a collection quite like this one i will not
32:35be able
32:35to keep these in stock so just to give you an idea of where i'm at i'd like to get
32:3913 000 for all the
32:41hawaiian shirts hey mike good to see you again good to see you buddy yeah whenever i find any cool
33:01jukeboxes you're my guy thank you so uh what we've got here i believe it's a 46 worlitzer
33:07probably the jukebox everybody thinks about one of the most famous ones uh but unfortunately not
33:13one of the most valuable anymore they back then they were playing 78s on here you don't really get
33:18good music on 78s you know when they switched to 45s in about 1952 that's when all the good music
33:23come
33:23out yeah this particular one nice cabinet but quite a few parts missing in fact i've got one for sale

33:41use
33:42out of it tell you what i'm at 1200 what do you think on that um for a for a
33:48parts machine it's on

33:541000.
33:58okay sound good awesome this job's getting pretty serious we're running out of time pressure's
34:05building we haven't really made a lot of money we've got to sell every item that we can find
34:10i'm trying to get money to help jamie's uncle and right now i'm just worried about breaking even
34:14this is not the scenario we wanted with only the office left we're running out of time and we're
34:21gonna find some money fast all right i saw this i'm really just curious what is it book of the
34:33fair
34:36this is everything that happened at the 1893 world's fair in chicago this was a book to tell
34:41the rest of the world that was going on and this this is what's going to be the future man

35:39keep rolling this waterbed situation is driving me crazy i can't tell you how much i hate this thing
35:46man we wasted countless hours just to make absolutely no money but i gotta get this bed out of here
35:52though
35:5430 year old water bed water all right good job man
36:07this is all trash
36:10we've got a few hours left we're running out of time and unfortunately unlike jamie's uncle i can't just
36:15invent a bunch of new stuff to sell we have what we have and we're running low
36:22we've been digging in this house for days and uncovered eight pieces of stained glass i love
36:28really old stuff here nice workmanship i'm interested in all of we can work out a deal sweet i'm at
36:342300

36:55all right jamie when you called me you told me your uncle tom was bigger than life
37:00and his horde was bigger than life we did a lot of work and i think we're ready to show
37:06you
37:06i can't wait to see all right let's do it all right go on into your uncle tom's room
37:15this was a full room man i couldn't even walk through this the whole wall was hawaiian shirts
37:22i forgot how beautiful the building is it's gorgeous we got a lot more to see
37:29this was his cockpit this is kind of where he hung out he had his tv at his chair
37:35this is where he did his thing man so fireplace works from what i understand absolutely beautiful
37:41i cannot believe this is the same house it was a week ago it doesn't look like the same house
37:46at all i feel like a fairy godmother just made my dream come true all right let's go check out
37:51the
37:51kitchen wait what yeah not a big room but it was a big mess i have to say yes i
37:58almost threw up every
38:00time i came into this room it reeked yeah the toxic fridge it wasn't toxic but it was pretty darn
38:07close
38:07it was rough but more on that later all right let's go to the office this was probably my favorite
38:14room this room was tough the office it was a big room
38:22and it was full oh my gosh what was this like this was the room that i spent so much
38:30time with him in
38:32that period of life in high school with him mentoring and tutoring me and then the emotions
38:37of both come back to me and that it's it's tears of joy that i can see this room and
38:45not be filled with
38:46garbage you know a horde can sometimes cover up the real memories and and hopefully this is making
38:52space for you to actually remember the guy that he is all right are you ready to see the final
38:56room
38:57pinball room oh my gosh look at this wow you've got to be kidding me
39:06i can't believe how big the room is it's huge i see why you called us this room was overwhelming
39:14we had to add two days because this was such a big job it's a huge relief in that i
39:20i wouldn't have
39:21been able to do this without you and your team couldn't even see how big this room was it was
39:26just
39:26filled with garbage all right you asked us to do two things clear the space and make some money
39:31and what's the money going to be for i need to take care of my uncle we were hoping to
39:36make somewhere
39:36between 50 and 60 thousand dollars in sales however the whirlitzer jukebox and the pinball machines
39:42didn't move the needle quite like we hoped what did bring us some money was finding an abundance of
39:46gold and jewelry including fifteen thousand dollars in that toxic fridge and another ten thousand
39:52dollars hidden in his office oh my god but the most surprising sale for us was this collection of
39:57authentic hawaiian shirts i'll come down to twelve thousand all right i can do twelve awesome right
40:07so total profit fifty two thousand dollars in sales after the fifteen thousand dollars for cleanup costs that
40:15left us with thirty seven thousand that's twenty two thousand two hundred dollars for you
40:20that's fourteen thousand eight hundred dollars for us and i am very happy to give you
40:27your cash you're gonna get me mugged this is unbelievable a lot of money man wow i have
40:34definitely never been handed a stack of cash with so many hundred dollar bills this money can now be used
40:42to take take care of your uncle we need every dollar to take care of him
40:51thank you you're welcome
40:55i know it's been a heavy heavy weight right now i'm feeling relieved there was so much on my shoulders
41:00it
41:00was overwhelming and matt took care of things that really brings me a lot of joy and love and i
41:08am so
41:08grateful i'm glad you called us thank you thank you so much tom had a bunch of different collections
41:14i've wanted to tackle this hoard for a very long time and i finally got the chance and it absolutely
41:19kicked my butt i'm really glad that we got to help jamie we made him some money we've also got
41:24the
41:24house cleared so they can sell it and start to get the money that will help pay for tom's care
