00:00Hi, my name is Leah Krause. I am running for Broward County, Circuit Court Judge in Group 9.
00:05I was born and raised in New York, went to Michigan for college, and Miami for law school, graduated early
00:10in two and a half years.
00:11I love what I do. I've been an attorney for 16 years. I started my practice as a prosecutor, worked
00:18my way up to be a lead in the felony trial unit,
00:21left the state attorney's office to work for a civil law firm before opening my own practice.
00:26Over the course of the 16 years that I've been practicing, I have handled criminal as well as civil cases.
00:32I have been a guardian ad litem and privileged to advocate for children appointed by judges in family court.
00:38I'm also a Florida Supreme Court certified family mediator. I've had over 50 trials and over 1,000 hearings.
00:46I bring a very unique perspective to the judicial bench.
00:50I'm asking that you support Leah Krause on August 30th to be your next Florida, Broward County, Circuit Court Judge
