00:17we have very high expectations and people need to meet those expectations so we need to recognize
00:24that there's a certain portion of people that won't meet those standards and if we have people
00:29that are dragging the team down then like that needs to be dealt with right in his ruthless pursuit
00:35of a record 35 million dollar season parker schnabel only wants the best of the best
00:43and one person is lagging behind it's never easy trying to let somebody go but everybody needs to
00:52be a team player and this guy is not so we have no choice but to say sorry you don't
00:59fit here you
01:00don't work hello davin before your shift starts tonight i was wondering if you wouldn't mind pop
01:09to the office here i'd like to see you yeah okay great thanks bye-bye
01:23parker's mine manager nona loveless has called in tavin peterson a loader operator in his second year at
01:31dominion hello how are you good good um yeah unfortunately we're gonna have to let you go
01:38tavin um you just have a really attitude for this place you just are very much a know-it-all
01:45when i asked you to do something you thought you were doing it better
01:49and that just doesn't work around here no i'm sorry i thought i was trying to help i've given you
01:54ample
01:55weeks of opportunity to do what is asked of you and you still do it tavin's way
02:03i thought i was doing and then you boast about how many loads you can get in an hour who
02:07does that
02:07i wasn't trying to boast i was just saying like i did the count i was proud of it tavin
02:12what am i tell see right now that's exactly what you're doing i know you're doing no no but you're
02:17at your apps no but no you're not because you're not listening to what i am saying i was trying
02:22to
02:22think ahead well you're not thinking ahead bud you're not you're falling behind because you're not
02:27listening so you can pack up and head on out thanks i do the best i could yeah attitude just
02:37it doesn't fly around here i mean i understand that now yeah well i tried telling you how many times
02:44if my boss my senior tells me to do something guess what i think it would still be beneficial if
02:51see see see you're still you're still i've let you go and you're still telling me that you're right
02:56get out of here honestly go i don't even want i don't even want go go get out of here
03:18yes sir
03:21i don't understand the logic behind it i think if they had the time to sit down with me and
03:30understand or hear my side out that it would make a lot more sense to them but
03:39this is sad
03:56we've had a bit of turnover this year we've been hiring and firing working here is not easy and we
04:02have a lot to do and you know you need good people that you can count on we're like at
04:09a pretty decent
04:09point in the season and starting to pick up momentum we've got more wash plants running if we can keep
04:17the wheels on the bus you know we're in a very good place but it's going to take a lot
04:22of effort and work
04:22on everybody's part in order to make that happen halfway through the season parker's already banked over
04:3018 million dollars worth of gold but recently plant breakdowns and spotty ground have seen his gold
04:39numbers slow down to less than 500 ounces a week the old ways we need improvement if it continues like
04:47this we're in real trouble i trust all our managers we have a really good group of people
04:53and at dominion this year tyson is definitely doing a really good job
05:00i have the three wash plants moved and up and running here at dominion it's wild because of how busy
05:06this place is right now there's a lot going on we got all our stakes in the fire right now
05:13so
05:14hopefully it doesn't bite us in the ass after taven's firing dominion's foreman tyson lee is down
05:22a loader operator now he needs to train up a new hire to feed wash plant bob i have some
05:29time to spend
05:30with india and get her to eat in the wash plant india's been in the loader for five six days
05:36now and
05:37now it's about time she learns how to feed a plant working in the loader in all honesty is pretty
05:47difficult in the bridge cut rookie india greenhaush has less than a month's gold mining under her belt
05:55you know i've left one job that i'm actually pretty good at
05:59to start in a job that i know nothing about it's not an easy thing to do but i want
06:06to be good at this
06:06i don't just want to be okay i want to be awesome
06:13while this is india's first season mining it isn't her first rodeo in the yukon
06:21for four years india worked behind the camera with the gold rush film crew historically i've worked on
06:29tony's claim but i did do one stint on parker's claim and that's how me and tyson met hi oh
06:36thanks
06:38you know i remember when she first came to sight here i saw her right then and there and i
06:43thought
06:43oh i gotta get to know her whilst this is very different there was no real option for me having
06:51a boyfriend that lives in canada a gold mine is definitely not a place that i thought i was ever
06:56gonna find love but here i am i am loving it quite frankly i'm loving love cheers
07:06hi babe how's it going babe yeah good
07:13so watch what i do when i'm going to throw a scoop in the hopper
07:21so you want to get nice and straight with the hopper first
07:26and then start lifting same thing as a rock truck when you're loading a rock truck
07:31you want to come in then you want to aim for the middle of the target
07:37see how i'm not spilling any material off the back not spilling any material off the front
07:42then when my bucket is dumped all the way i'm lowering my boom lowering my center of gravity
07:47when you're running to the back of the cut like this
07:51keep in mind there's no one up at the plant right now
07:53you're the one watching it right from way back here i'm looking at the belts making sure there's
07:59material going up them making sure nothing looks askew making sure the tailings conveyor is going
08:05yeah that makes sense you see something hit the breaker and run up and open the bypass and close the
08:12main
08:16what smack my head well don't smack your head then you're not a bobble head just sit just watch next
08:23time
08:31that is not good see how that material is not moving do not ignore that jump out jump out it's
08:36a club
08:38stand back and watch me this time
08:42the hupper feeder is clogged with pain stopping it from getting to the plane
08:49okay back in the loader
08:57so that's why it's really important to watch yeah
09:07okay your turn okay i'll be on mine or two okay
09:19go up up up
09:26so just get nice and square with the feeder first
09:31it's never i can
09:35do small adjustments straight now keep going you're fine
09:43am i straight am i straight
09:51i'll slowly start dumping
10:03once you're clear of the hopper boom down so boom down now yeah it's good there
10:08it's really nerve-wracking actually i like the world's driest mouth
10:19nice
10:23it's a lot harder than it looks
10:32i'll be back
10:34it's all yours
10:35okay
10:38it's very much on me to make sure that this plant is running as it should be
10:43parker wouldn't have offered her the job if he didn't think she could do it hopefully in the
10:48upcoming days she'll be able to feed the plant run the plant shut down the plant and know how to
10:53do problem solve around the plant
11:10we got less than 500 ounces on the season right now and that's uh that's not nearly enough
11:16well we're back in vegas valley and that's where we know the good gold is we got to get back
11:19down to
11:20the painter three months in rick ness's season is finally on the upswing last week we got a good
11:28result from the last cleanup but that was the end of the stockpile we didn't get down to pay uh
11:33like
11:34we planned on i mean there's a lot to do there's a big road to build and there's no more
11:38pay to run and
11:39yeah we need to switch up the plan right now um if we're going to get back to the pay
11:43in vegas valley
11:43quickly rick's crew has finished building the road to the bottom of vegas valley but now rick faces
11:52another problem there was a lot of slop in there the whole cuts flooded with silty muddy we're gonna
11:58have to move it all before we before we get back to the pain but getting it out of here
12:01is painful
12:03i've got an idea it's a it's kind of a it's a cheap way to move dirt and we tried
12:07this last year in
12:08rally valley we actually had some success with it um and we're gonna try it again i think we learned
12:12stuff
12:13last year so we got the monitor we're gonna drop that in vegas valley and get that slop out of
12:20there get back on the gold at vegas valley rick's crew has built a narrow road to the bottom of
12:28the 200
12:29foot deep cut now they've discovered the pay layer they reached last year is covered in six feet of thick
12:38sludge rick's solution bring in a high-powered water monitor to blast the sticky sludge breaking it down
12:49to a runny slurry then suck it out with a 12-inch water pump revealing the gold-rich pay layer
12:57underneath
13:04hey guys it's time to fire this thing up hey get to pay hey chris fire that pop up let's
13:11go all right
13:12start the pump power all right here comes
13:31we got the monitor in place now we use that to wash all that silt over to our pump and
13:36hopefully have
13:37to pay clean in maybe a day or two we got a new guy here uh chris he's working that
13:43moderate you know
13:44we need all the manpower we can get right now we got a long ways to go i have to
13:48pay close attention to
13:49what i'm doing here rick's brought in new operator chris lalon for the season's second half push
13:57with room for just one excavator at the bottom of the pit clearing the sludge is chris's shot to prove
14:05himself i'm originally from fort mcmurray alberta i have spent the last five or six years traveling
14:11around doing different jobs but now i'm here i feel like it's going good they are trusting me to try
14:17and
14:17do this task alone
14:31it appears i'm losing my battle at this moment the water level should continuously drop now it's
14:37increasing in my pond guys it looks like the pump doesn't move the sludge the pump is failing to suck
14:45out the slurry and now there's an even bigger mess for some reason it's stuck i don't know if we
14:55sucked
14:55up a bunch of mud i don't know what the deal is but it ain't working now that i know
15:00shut it down
15:09am i good yeah i'm gonna have to back up
15:27all we have is a steel plate with holes welded into it so when we're washing all this muck down
15:33in here it easily can get plugged up as soon as any rocks any silt anything gets stuck in this
15:37at
15:38vegas valley rick's crew is battling a thick layer of sludge to reach the gold rich pay but a plugged
15:45pump has brought the operation to a standstill all right well we could uh find or build a basket
15:53it's going to give us a lot more area for suction and then uh to where we don't have any
15:58problems with
15:59anything clogging to get the pump sucking again mechanic ryan kent plans to build a new intake basket
16:06with bigger screens reducing the risk of blockages
16:15looks heavy yeah yeah three dudes remove the plate yeah
16:23right now we're going to look for some material to build a basket we do have a bunch of punch
16:31plate
16:31we cut it out and weld a square together it's like kyle may have found a box over there
16:3810 inch on it yeah we need 12 inch get rid of this i'll make those work i got it
16:50look at that once we torch this off we'll weld the other one right to it to fit the basket
16:56to the
16:57pump's 12 inch hose ryan first replaces the flange we got to build our own that's what we're gonna do
17:09see if we can get her up this direction
17:13damn you guys are strong your moms must be proud
17:18the main piece we need is this victor right there
17:27hit it with a hammer see if it'll break free
17:34now what we're gonna do is put a bead around it
17:44good enough she'll serve her purpose now
17:57hopefully that's the uh quick fix we need to be able to get that muck out of there and get
18:00down to pay
18:16we need this basket to work if it doesn't we're gonna be kind of ourselves on time here
18:28there she goes
18:32we got our new basket back in ready to fire
18:53that water's dropping pretty quick yeah it looks like the cage is working yeah section's working
18:58bumps working we are one step closer to getting back to pay
19:12one hundred miles west well i guess i'm starting a new chapter in my life and
19:20going to look for some work
19:23i don't want to be going home because i love gold mining and uh
19:30can't afford to go home yet after being let go from parker's crew tavin peterson is gunning for a fresh
19:38start right now i'm just looking around seeing who's willing to hire a new gold miner i'm going to
19:47somebody's gold mine and just knocking on the door
19:56so i guess we're here
20:04hope this goes well
20:20and i'm going to be able to get out of the way
20:21hello how's it going my name is tavin peterson nice to meet you nice to meet you pull up a
20:26chair
20:27what uh can we do you for uh i heard you were mining up here and i was wondering if
20:33you guys were
20:33looking for employees or if you guys are pretty stacked up on operators there are there are some
20:40opportunities here currently right now the big thing we're on the lookout for is
20:44rock truck operators and loader operators what is your time on those things so this will be my fourth
20:50season mining yeah i really enjoy everything about gold mining and i'm really willing to learn last
20:57year parker had me a rock truck and were you at parker's this year for the first little bit invited
21:02me back for another season but things weren't going good and then nona really like fired me i'm not sure
21:11why
21:20all right okay uh but i was on slucifer before for those two weeks
21:30and started right off on the plant on night shift so they must have a little bit of faith in
21:35me
21:37that is a feather in your cap so to speak because i'm always looking for more people to
21:41who have experience feeding the plant okay this might work out for both of us honestly
21:50but if we're going to hire you one of the first places we're going to throw you
21:53is night shift at the plant so if you're up for that
21:59that's great that's what i'm looking for perfect so for now i'd say
22:04you're hired thank you so much i appreciate this you gave a good vibe so let's roll those dice
22:10see how it works out for both of us thank you so much
22:16that was awesome got hired and uh i'm super excited to start working for a smaller crew
22:22again and the work that i do will get noticed a lot more he didn't work out there he might
22:27work
22:28out here the only way we're going to find out is well try him out having struggled for crew and
22:36gold
22:36all season second year mind boss kevin beats is slowly turning a corner it was tough at the start
22:44of the year to lose both brennan and caden and now buzz is gone to go i'll have a baby
22:49but we brought
22:50in some new crew and we're making it work the only thing you can do going into the second half
22:55of
22:55the season i'm still optimistic that we're going to be successful i don't know if we're going to be
23:00as successful as i want it to be but we're still going for a 2 000 ounce goal we still
23:04want to get
23:04that two weeks ago with his pyramid cut mined out kevin broke ground on the new seven acre sphinx cut
23:15with everything now riding on the new ground kevin's already down to pay and feeding it through the wash
23:22plan i am hoping that sphinx cut is going to pay out better than pyramid cut has been it's really
23:28important that we hit our weekly target we're aiming for 100 ounces a week and to get there we've got
23:33to
23:33be running 24 7. for his first night shift of the season kevin pairs new hire taven with veteran miner
23:46rick
23:53johnson to keep the plant sluicing through the midnight sun taven has to feed 24 loads of pay dirt an
24:09hour
24:13right now i'm just running the plant on night shift we got a small crew going right now me and
24:18rick so
24:19we gotta just make sure we're staying consistent and keeping everything fed and make sure we're getting
24:27rocks washed while we can really enjoying it here already got put on the wash plant which i'm
24:34really excited about everybody's been super welcoming and teaching me lots and showing
24:40me how they do things around here which i really appreciate i take a lot of pride in what i
24:45do and
24:46i want to be on a winning team so i feel like i need to prove myself a little bit
24:53well i just definitely don't want to get fired again
25:17we're coming to our end at night shift but the pace here is a little bit slower and i'm still
25:23getting used to it i'm trying my best
25:38oh there's no pay on the conveyor
26:04look like it might have been the hopper i think i'm gonna go check it out
26:10oh my oh man that's a big rock at scribner creek 10 hours into his first night shift for kevin
26:20beats
26:21new hire tavin has shut down the wash plant
26:34sakes what now chelsea march and tyler potter from the day shift arrive early to help clear the blockage
26:43it looks like a big rock got through the grizzlies
26:48i don't know how they managed to make their way through the grizzlies this big and the grizzlies are
26:53this big i think we're gonna have to get that big rock chained up to the grizzlies oh yeah so
26:58use the
26:58power of the grizzlies to remote and lift it enough at least to get the dirt out loosen up hopefully
27:03yeah
27:08exactly
27:08go on the top beauty
27:15tavin's gonna jump in there poke around we're gonna run the chain through the top and uh
27:21wrap the grizzly bars with the chain and we'll uh try and give her a little jiggle see if we
27:26can pop it out
27:27inside of the feeder the grizzly bars on the feeder screen out large boulders to protect the wash plant
27:36from damage but months of wear and tear have bent them out of shape creating holes
27:45a large rock has fallen into the hopper blocking its feed conveyor
27:52the crew's quick fix dig out a tunnel underneath the hundred pound boulder wrap a chain around it
28:02then attach the chain to the grizzlies and use its hydraulic ram to lift and free the rock
28:18here's the other side david pull that okay
28:27down time look get out of here yeah
28:35we'll drop the grizzlies back down and hook it to the grizzlies and try and pull it up
28:46keep tapping it up
29:02good man
29:10did it break the chain nope might have wiggled off
29:17a little bit
29:21oh yeah that's coming yeah
29:27that's about as big as they come
29:28i gotta get her going again
29:44the rock's out plant's running again a little chaotic but flat's going so that's what counts
29:57okay
29:57hey david fight the jam up last night big rock slipped through the grizzlies i see you got it out
30:02how'd that
30:03go so we ended up tying a chain to the grizzlies and wiggling it up good job man thank you
30:08well
30:10Sounds like you had enough excitement for today,
30:12so you may as well go get some sleep.
30:13Enjoy the day.
30:15Sounds like Taven had a little excitement
30:17for his first night shift.
30:18Lifting the rock with the grizzly bars, good plan.
30:20So, yeah, not bad for his first night.
30:49So I'm running Bob and I have been doing now for quite a few days,
30:54which means I'm down here all by myself.
30:58Obviously, I've got to keep Bob fed.
31:01I've got to make sure that Bob doesn't f*** up.
31:05With me being such a rookie, it kind of terrifies me,
31:09but I've got to learn these things at the end of the day.
31:13Since I've been here, Tyson, when we go back home of an evening,
31:17he's like an army sergeant or something.
31:21He's like, what do we do when there's something wrong with the plan?
31:23What do we do? What do we do?
31:25And I'm like, I run for the turnerita.
31:27I hit the three-phrase beaker.
31:29And then he's like, what's next?
31:30And I'm like, I hit the bypass.
31:32And he's like, good!
31:44I just heard a big crash, which is, yep, there goes Big Rock.
31:50If they make it out onto the belt,
31:52I've got to make sure that they go all the way up and into the wash plan.
31:56If they don't go all the way up and into the wash plan,
31:58that means they could be stuck on the belt somewhere.
32:12Two miles away.
32:14So you know right now, the plant pad up here,
32:16and the Golden Mile seems to be coming along pretty good.
32:19Hang on a sec, guys.
32:25It's up to you a sec.
32:33I don't know what's going on, but I just got a text from India saying help.
32:37Come on, Jarv!
32:39Dog that appears out of nowhere. Go on!
32:56Oh, there's a big jamming on the belt.
32:58I've just had to shut down Bob.
33:00I mean, look at this.
33:05It's a massive rock.
33:07Humongous.
33:08I really hope that's not up the belt.
33:12At the bridge cut, on solo shift,
33:15running wash plant Bob,
33:17rookie loader operator India,
33:19has shut down with a jammed up conveyor.
33:23Every single minute counts here,
33:25so at least try and get rid of all this.
33:34Okay, here's Tyson.
33:37Can you turn the water off?
33:39I couldn't turn it all the way off.
33:52If you could just send me more context,
33:55text please, rather than just help.
33:58I don't know if you're stuck underneath the machine
34:00or if the wash plant's on fire.
34:04All right.
34:04Okay.
34:06If you're going to send a text,
34:07don't just say help.
34:08Okay.
34:14That should be able to move that.
34:16Want to jump down?
34:17Well, it's like two huge rocks.
34:19There's like one underneath that as well.
34:21Oh, yeah.
34:21Yeah.
34:31Jump down for a sec.
34:32Okay.
34:36Watch yourself.
34:37I'm going to be throwing a massive rock off this side.
34:43Watch yourself.
34:46All right.
34:48Yeah.
34:48I'll go get the shaker going.
34:53I'll go get the shaker going.
35:10I'll go get the shaker going today.
35:15Thank you so much for coming for help out there.
35:19Nice work, India.
35:21India did really well.
35:23She caught it before it turned into a massive pile of dirt
35:26because that's what happens.
35:28All in all, I don't think that was too much of a bad shutdown
35:32for Bob here.
35:33And I'm glad that I broke my shutdown virginity
35:36in a way that nothing was damaged and nobody was hurt.
35:40I definitely think I gave Tyson a little bit of a heart attack
35:44there with that text.
35:46Hopefully Tyson's heart is okay.
36:07Looking at it like I can see the difference from our start point to now
36:11and things are looking pretty peachy right now.
36:15I guess it's as low as she'll go.
36:18In Vegas Valley, another new hire has been working alone.
36:22Chris Lalonde has finally cleared the sludge from the bottom of a tight spot.
36:27Guys, I just want to swing on down and come have a look at the progress I've made.
36:38What do you want to check on?
36:42Looks good out there.
36:44You did a killer job on it.
36:45Yeah, it looks pretty clean.
36:47Has it been fun?
36:48Fun.
36:49Fun to sit in a machine and re-familiarize.
36:51It hasn't been fun, don't lie.
36:54Yeah, I think we'll just get the trucks in here and see what we can get out.
36:57Let's get the gold.
37:05Ready, Bailey?
37:07Yeah, come on down.
37:08Let's see what this is going to do.
37:10Sounds good.
37:16Trying to get one truck in, one truck out.
37:18It's definitely not just drive in, drive out kind of situation.
37:22You've got to back down all the way in here.
37:24To haul pay from the bottom of the 200-foot-deep valley, Kyle and Chris have to take turns reversing
37:32their trucks down a narrow single track with steep banks.
37:39Yeah, it's funny, the first scoop into Kyle here.
37:52What's it looking like from down there, Bailey?
37:54Yeah, it's pretty tight and, you know, in this position we need more room for sure.
38:04I don't like this.
38:16It's such a, it's not a, it's just not right, you know.
38:20I'm just wondering if it's too dangerous.
38:22I do take the safety of my crew very seriously.
38:25You have to keep it safe.
38:27I had a visit from some inspectors.
38:29They have the power to shut me down.
38:30If mine inspectors visited the claim and judged Vegas Valley at risk of landslide, Rick could
38:39be shut down for the season.
38:46Hey, Bailey, finish loading.
38:48I don't know what I was thinking, man.
38:49Let's get the out of here.
38:51Are you sure?
38:53Pull it out of there.
38:53Let's move on.
38:55Well, I guess that's it for this now.
38:58I was really focused on the gold down there because we need it and I wasn't fully appreciating
39:02how this was actually going to look.
39:03We need to get this set up better.
39:05We're not ready for this.
39:06To make Vegas Valley safe to mine, Rick will have to expand the bottom of the pit to make
39:12more room, which could take weeks and delay him getting on the gold.
39:22We'll probably get a little bit of gold out of it.
39:23It ain't gonna be much, but it did not take long to see that that was too dangerous.
39:45Hey, guys.
39:46Hey.
39:46Hey, guys.
39:47How it goes?
39:48Good.
39:49How are you?
39:49So tired.
39:51Yeah.
39:52I feel ya.
39:52It's the end of Kevin's first week running 24-7 and he's invited crew members to the
39:58Tyler and Chelsea to see if it's paid off.
40:02All that work for this little bit of .
40:04Cool to see it all cleaned up.
40:06Yeah.
40:07Yeah.
40:07So how's Taven been working out on night shifts?
40:09So far, so good.
40:11Keeps the plant running, so.
40:12Yeah.
40:13I mean, the priority number one is keeping the plant going 24-7, so.
40:16Which we've been doing pretty good at, as you can see.
40:18Yep.
40:19Yeah, right?
40:19The amount of work that we do, it doesn't look like a lot, but for the price of gold right
40:24now, that's...
40:25Well, it makes a real difference.
40:26Probably pretty all right, yeah.
40:28Let's weigh it up and find out exactly how good we've been doing.
40:30For sure.
40:31This is Kevin's first gold wave for two weeks, and his first from his new Sphinx cut.
40:38He's expecting to see at least 200 ounces.
40:4810, 20, 50, 90, 100, 120.
40:58158.
40:59Second jar.
41:01Yeah.
41:02160, 170, 180, 200, 230, 240, 250.245.
41:15That's pretty cool.
41:16Yeah.
41:16Two weeks of running non-stop.
41:18That's always nice.
41:18Yeah.
41:19It's nice, yeah.
41:21Worth $876,000, Kevin's best gold wave of the season, taking his total to 583 ounces, over
41:32$2 million in gold.
41:34It goes to show that the effort we're putting in is paying out.
41:38Absolutely, yeah.
41:39And we should get back to her.
41:41You guys in a little bit?
41:42Cool.
41:42Sounds good.
41:43Cheers.
41:44See ya.
41:47That was a really good goal, eh?
41:49250 ounces?
41:50That's not bad at all.
41:52No, no.
41:52That's pretty nice.
41:53I mean, as long as we keep a good crew going, it even fits in with everyone.
41:57Helps us keep going 24-7, get us closer to that 2,000-ounce goal.
42:03Yeah.
42:12What's up, guys?
42:13How's my record?
42:14Nice firing.
42:15Yeah.
42:17So how has your first week been there, Chris?
42:19Happy to be here.
42:20Your crew's a great crew.
42:22Try my best.
42:22Appreciate you being here.
42:23No, it's good to have you.
42:25Rick Ness and his crew battled all week to get down to Vegas Valley Paye.
42:31But Rick was only able to run two truckloads before calling time on the dangerous pit.
42:37Do we know what those two rock trucks got us?
42:40Yeah, actually.
42:41And it doesn't look like a lot, but that's an ounce.
42:43Pretty good.
42:44That's really good.
42:45That's almost Rally Valley numbers.
42:46Right now our total's at 437.46.
42:50We're not adding a whole bunch to it, but that brings us to 438.46.
42:54We got a long ways to go.
42:55Yeah.
42:56Rick's season total is worth one and a half million dollars.
43:00And if he can hit Vegas Valley's riches, he should be on track for his 1,800 ounce gold.
43:08There's a considerable amount of gold left in there for sure.
43:11And at least the two truckloads told us that.
43:13We're not going to abandon it, but it's just right now knowing should we be expanding Vegas Valley so that
43:18it's easier to get.
43:19There's a lot of things that need to be extra done to it.
43:22The hole's getting smaller and smaller.
43:23You get trucks in there.
43:24You got to do a lot of work.
43:26Everybody busts their asses to get to that little spot.
43:28I know.
43:29They're going to be obviously ready to tackle again, but you're going to need a solid plan.
43:34I'm going to do my best to try and figure this out, but I hope that you guys are on
43:42board too.
43:43You know what I mean?
43:44I'd say as long as you got a game plan, probably all game.
43:48Appreciate it.
43:49Rick faces a tough decision.
43:51Spend weeks expanding Vegas Valley or find a new spot to mine.
43:58Well, it's a small amount of gold, but it's an ounce.
44:00It tells us there's a lot of gold down there.
44:03We need to get it, but I need to come to a decision on how to do it.
44:05We're going to expand or what the hell are we going to do?
44:07There's a lot to think about, but a decision has to be made.
44:25Hello.
44:26Hello.
44:26Hey.
44:27What up?
44:28At Dominion, Parker's crew gathers to find out if running all four wash plants has reversed
44:35last week's slump.
44:37Well, how'd your week go?
44:39Well, I tell you, with four plants running, it's hopping down here.
44:44How about you guys?
44:45Yeah, we had some stuff happen.
44:47A couple days ago, India messages me, and all I get is help, exclamation mark.
44:53No context.
44:55Oh, no.
44:55When I get there, and she was up shoveling on the computer, I'm like, you can't do that.
44:59Like, that is not cool.
45:01Yeah.
45:01Like, you have to say the wash plant's down, or a loader's got a flat tire, or there's a
45:05bear in the cut, because I could not get there fast enough.
45:08She's like, well, what did you want me to do?
45:09I was shoveling.
45:10I'm like, well, text, like, three more words.
45:14Like...
45:15Help, help, I'm shoveling.
45:16Yeah, like...
45:19Well, you want to see how Roxanne did, Mitch?
45:21Yeah, buddy.
45:23How did we do?
45:24First, gold from Ken and Stewart's claim that's averaging 130 ounces a week.
45:31All right.
45:32Roxanne.
45:33Here we go.
45:3630, 60, 90, 130.
45:43Yeah, keep going, 140, 150.4.
45:50Nice.
45:50Nice.
45:51Yeah.
45:52That's an improvement over last week.
45:55The golden mile.
45:56Golden mile.
45:58And that's for both plants.
46:00Yes.
46:00Next, gold from Slucifer and Big Red on Dominion Creek, which last week delivered 232 ounces.
46:1120, 40, 120, 140, 160, 200, 230, 250, 250, 1.55.
46:23Nice.
46:24Yeah.
46:25Deadly.
46:26Tatiana will now give you the bridge cut.
46:30Finally, gold from Wash Plant Bob, averaging 170 ounces a week.
46:3710, 20, 30, 60, 80, 103.7.
46:51Down from a little bit.
46:52Bob's been a bit depressing, to be honest.
46:55Yeah.
46:56Like, for a pit that we stripped, like, 40 feet of dirt off of the top of.
47:00I don't know if you're really getting into that good pay yet or not.
47:03There's a lot of low-grade pay.
47:05Hopefully, it'll come back up somewhere.
47:07Well, last week, we had 428.7 ounces.
47:12This week, 505.4.
47:16Not bad.
47:17Our season total, 5,855.9.
47:23So we're going forward.
47:25It'd be nice if we went forward a little faster, but we're getting there.
47:29Yeah, we just have to keep plugging at her.
47:31Yeah.
47:32An 80-ounce increase on last week's total.
47:36And with gold at record high prices.
47:40Parker's mined over $20 million.
47:43More cash than he's ever made in one season.
47:48All right.
47:49Keep it up, you guys.
47:50Thanks, guys.
47:51You bet.
47:52Excellent job, as always.
47:54We try to keep it clean.
47:55That is super clean.
47:57Yeah.
