00:01There is a lot of talk right now about layoffs and almost every time there is one reason
00:05being mentioned, AI.
00:07But I think the real story is a bit different because if you look closely, most of these
00:12layoffs aren't happening because of AI, they're happening because how businesses were built
00:16in the first place.
00:18A lot of companies hired fast during growth phases.
00:21They added people to manage manual processes, to fill gaps, to deal with inefficiencies
00:27and at that time it worked.
00:28But now things are changing, not just because of AI, but because businesses are starting
00:34to realize something.
00:35A lot of that work didn't need to exist in the first place.
00:39It existed because systems weren't strong enough, because processes weren't structured
00:44properly.
00:45AI is just highlighting that.
00:47It's not the cause, it's exposing what was already there.
00:52So the real question businesses should be asking isn't how we replace people with AI.
00:57why?
00:57It's why did we need so many people to run this in first place?
01:02Because that's where the real opportunity is.
01:04Because that's where the real opportunity is.
01:10What's the real opportunity is?
01:11You can't go over the world.
