00:03that abc has finally renewed scrubs the revival for a second season it has been a long two weeks
00:08for fans at the show as we have waited to find out if abc would be giving scrubs a second

00:13even though they had some really solid viewership numbers and great ratings and great reviews of
00:19course from both critics and fans but we no longer have to worry because they have officially given
00:23the green light to a new batch of episodes at sacred heart although we don't know how many
00:28episodes yet obviously they announced the renewal news this morning but they didn't share just how
00:33many episodes only that the show will be coming back for the 2026 2027 season which means a fast
00:38turnaround which is good now in recent weeks the cast of all stated that they were dying to come
00:42back so thank god for that but they also said that they would be interested in doing a bigger season
00:48they only had nine episodes this time around but maybe the next one could be something like 18 or
00:5322 something i feel more confident in considering that they said that it's going to be back for the
00:582026 2027 season i think they're going to be probably premiering in september and hopefully
01:04go all the way through may or april april is more likely truth be told the main reason i'm excited
01:09about this second season is because i feel like there's so much more story to tell we left off on
01:13a cliffhanger with dr cox and his health struggles and i think they're going to have to get even more
01:18into the weeds with that relationship between dr cox and jd and every single cast member and creative
01:24has said that with a second season renewal they would be trying to bring back even more people
01:28including ken jenkins who played dr kelso and some of the people we already saw but just for bigger
