00:00In August, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim launched ILMU, Malaysia's first homegrown multi-modal AI model developed by YTL AI Labs.
00:10Now YTL AI Labs is building on that ecosystem with its recently launched ILMU Claw.
00:17When we look at ChatGPT and when we look at Claw, a lot of times it is still a very
00:24passive technology in the sense that you have to go and ask it something.
00:30And it's usually just information. You can ask it for advice and it will tell you some advice. You ask
00:36it for research, it will tell you research.
00:37Open Claw and ILMU Claw, however, are a different type of technology. It is a fully active AI agent, which
00:45means that you talk to it and you can tell it to do stuff.
00:49AI agents are software systems that plan, take action, use tools and collaborate with other AI systems to get work
00:56done autonomously.
00:58Through Open Claw and ILMU Claw, anyone can now build AI agents without coding or complex setups, using simple, natural
01:06language prompts.
01:08For example, you can tell it to say, okay, plan to read through all of my emails and tell and
01:15summarize for me the top five points that I need to know for the next meeting that I want.
01:20So you will be able to go into your Gmail or and your Google Calendar to understand what's the next
01:26meeting you want and read through all of your emails to be able to summarize it for you.
01:34For example, what I did is that I asked it to acquire skills to control my home's sound systems.
01:41You will be able to tell your AI agency every day at 7am, could you play really loud rock music
01:51so that it will wake me up.
01:52So it is essentially a technology that allows you to create multiple AI agents to cater to your own life.
01:59As part of the launch, YTLAI Labs sponsored the Open Claw KL event on April 24th, during which developers and
02:06AI builders were offered hands-on access to ILMU Claw.
02:09Developed in collaboration with NVIDIA, ILMU Claw is hosted entirely on Malaysian infrastructure via the secure YTLAI cloud, ensuring data
02:20remains within the country.
02:22Fung highlights this as a milestone in Malaysia's push for sovereign AI.
02:27One or two years from now, there will be more AI-generated work versus human-generated work.
02:33The same thing will happen in the government, right?
02:35So if we depend on OpenAI for AI-generated work entirely, which means that someday if the American withdraw the
02:45OpenAI service, 50% of the government work will be stranded.
02:49So this is why having sovereign AI is a matter of resiliency.
02:56Only 800 spots for ILMU Claw are currently available.
