00:00The stabbing of two Jewish men in North London is being investigated as an act of terrorism, police have said.
00:06A man was arrested after he was seen running along Golders Green Road armed with a knife
00:11and attempting to stab Jewish members of the public, according to Jewish security group Shomrin.
00:17The two men were hospitalized with knife wounds.
00:20I'd like to praise the bravery of the police officers and members of the public who were at the scene
00:25and responded.
00:27At 11.16 this morning, two men, aged 76 and 34, were attacked on Highfield Avenue in Barnet.
00:37They suffered stab wounds in the attack and are now being looked after in hospital.
00:44Prime Minister Keir Starmer said the reported incident was deeply concerning.
00:49There is now a police investigation and I think we all need to do everything we can to support that
00:55investigation.
