00:00King Charles is here in New York today, marking the first visit by a British monarch since his
00:04mother, Queen Elizabeth, stopped by back in 2010. The monarchs are visiting the 9-11 memorial before
00:09splitting up their duties so the king can visit an urban farm and the queen can celebrate the
00:13100th birthday of Winnie the Pooh. I genuinely want to know who's responsible for their schedules
00:19because I have a few questions. The king and queen will also attend a reception here in town
00:24honoring the organization The King's Trust, which helps young adults build confidence,
00:29get a job or start a business. On Tuesday, President Trump pulled out all the stops to
00:34welcome King Charles and Queen Camilla in an official ceremony at the White House and fed it with a
00:39fabulous state dinner. In between, though, the king pushed back ever so gently on some of the
00:44president's disagreements with the UK and other allies. Here's King Charles addressing Congress
00:49on Tuesday afternoon. I pray with all my heart that our alliance will continue to defend our shared
00:57values with our partners in Europe and the Commonwealth and across the world and that we
01:03ignore the clarion calls to become ever more inward looking. As for the rest of their trip,
01:08after New York City, the royals will head back to the nation's capital to pay a visit to Arlington
01:12National Cemetery and will then stop by what is being described as a block party celebrating
01:17America's 250th birthday, otherwise known as the 250th anniversary of our messy breakup with England.
01:24The king and queen will depart the US and stop in Bermuda on the way home to the UK,
01:28not for a vacation, mind you. The island nation is one of Britain's overseas territories.
