00:00Yeah, I spend my days defending Donald Trump and translating Donald Trump for the world.
00:05The Greenland play and also the Panama Canal, Venezuela, all of the geopolitical moves from the Trump administration really is
00:14to secure the Western hemisphere.
00:16I know it doesn't appear that way because of Donald Trump's speech.
00:20Remember, he is a boy from New York.
00:22We don't always have the most polished talk.
00:24But what he's trying to do is to secure the U.S. and the Western hemisphere, and by that meaning
00:32to control a lot of the trading routes and the oil trading routes.
00:36And that is something that I think his administration wants to do.
00:40It's not going to be pretty.
00:41It's never going to be pretty in that respect.
00:45On top of that, you know, I guess he didn't realize that his friends were not going to be there
00:51when he was doing this.
00:52And I think maybe that could have been communicated better, especially with the U.K.
00:59Usually that he just expects that when he does something that, you know, his friends will follow.
01:04In this case, he's going at it alone and he really would like the help.
01:08And remember, we have the big midterm elections happening here in November, and that is going to determine a lot
01:15of, you know, whether or not that's going to be a referendum on Donald Trump's administration or if America wants
01:21a different way forward.
01:22So I think he's being very sensitive to all of these things.
01:26Of course, you know, we would love to have an international coalition around the world that can be built.
01:34And hopefully today with the state visit, that's going to be day one of that new coalition.
