00:00The women are not going to conform with good intentions,
00:02much less if it's about the reforms that will define the country's rumble.
00:06Last week, there was a proposal that, according to the Ministry of Trabajo,
00:10would benefit women, but in practice it will not serve much.
00:13In other words, it can be very dangerous.
00:16The Minister Glorinez Ramírez proposed that women
00:18give us 50 weeks of pension tax for every child.
00:22In fact, it all sounds good, but not so much if we analyze it better.
00:25I know that talking about pensiones can be enredado and even aburrido.
00:29By administrating some resources that are not of them,
00:33of people who work.
00:34But this is a topic that affects us all.
00:37Pensioning in Colombia is practically a lujo.
00:39Only one of every four people.
00:42And, as rare, women are most affected.
00:45All the obstacles we face in the world of work
00:47we pay for when we go to pension.
00:50In 2020, the total of women in edad of pension,
00:53only the 19% of women,
00:55frente to a 29% of men.
00:57These data were made by the Mesa Intersectorial de Economía del Cuidado
01:27for many reasons.
01:28Let's talk about three reasons.
01:28First, the labor of care no remunerable
01:30is not reduced to the maternity.
01:32There are women who take care of sick families,
01:34people with disabilities,
01:36or who take care of many hours to domestic work.
01:38What will happen with them?
01:39Second, the proposal is not beneficial to many women
01:42because only are 50 weeks.
01:44The minimum requirement, depending on if it is called pensiones
01:48or private funds,
01:49is 1.300 weeks or 1.150.
01:51A average wage wage comes to pension with 500 weeks.
01:55The minimum wage wage comes to pension.
01:56Obviously, it will benefit some,
01:58but the majority will not.
02:00Third, and this is the most important thing,
02:01the best practices,
02:03the measure refuerza the idea
02:04of that to take care of children
02:06is only responsibility for us.
02:08Yes, it is the recognition of something that today happens,
02:10but the goal is to change that reality,
02:13not perpetuate it.
02:13We need to redistribute these jobs,
02:16that the care care deje of being feminized.
02:18That's why the measure is dangerous.
02:20We expect correcciones.
02:22We demand more.
02:23The labor and the pension reform
02:25must have an enfoque of gender
02:27and include measures that do not serve.
02:30In the campaign,
02:31Gustavo Petro even put the red flag
02:33but now that is president,
02:34there are doubts of how much is your commitment to women.
02:37That will be done on March 16 and 22,
02:41when the government will present its reform
02:43to Congress.
02:44We will know that we are included and that no.
02:47From now on, we have to be careful of the issue.
02:50That the government knows that we are here.
02:51Atent.
