00:00Speaking of songwriting, you've been called like a melody guy, like you get an ear for that stuff?
00:04Oh yeah, maybe, I don't know.
00:06What's something you hear in melodies that maybe others don't?
00:10Oh, that's a great question. I don't really know.
00:12I think it's, when it comes to like melody or songwriting in general,
00:15I think it's all in just kind of trusting yourself and trusting your instinct.
00:19And, you know, when we're in the room writing, most of the time everybody in there is pretty damn good.
00:25And, you know, just being able to just kind of, you know, kind of let loose.
00:31And, you know, you have to be really, you can't be, what's, I can't think of the right word.
00:37You have to just kind of do the thing and like not let your, like fear or like, you know,
00:42scared to sound stupid.
00:43You can't kind of let that take control.
00:45And so just being open and kind of vulnerable, that was the word.
00:49Being vulnerable in those rooms, you know, I kind of think that's like the key to, you know, having success
00:53as a songwriter.
