00:09The state-owned Kairail Trail Company said in a statement on Tuesday that at least 88
00:15people were injured in the crash, as emergency workers are actively working at the scene
00:20to free people who remain trapped in the wreckage.
00:23Reports indicate that the commuter line train was stopped on Track 1 heading east toward
00:29Sikkarang and moments later, a long-distance train traveling from the west entered the
00:33same track and collided with the commuter line head-on.
00:36In this scenario, authorities confirmed that those injured in the accident were taken to
00:40nearby hospitals to receive appropriate medical care.
00:44Investigations into the incident are underway.
