00:12site next to the existing leisure complex. The main 25-metre swimming pool and a second
00:19learner pool are now taking shape in reinforced concrete. Despite wet winter weather, the
00:24project is slightly ahead of schedule. Officials say local firms are involved in the construction,
00:30with several hundred workers expected to be involved over the course of the build.
00:36The centre is due to open in the summer of 2027, bringing new pools, a gym and community
00:43facilities.
