Orange County Choppers Origina Episode 6 Engsub
Transcript
00:00This week on Orange County Choppers Original.
00:06So we've been working on a bike for a couple years now.
00:11She doesn't need to be led around somebody just as crazy or crazier than she is.
00:16Ow! Not that.
00:19We're going to take that bike out and build it for Joan.
00:23I'm not done yet here.
00:25Oh, okay.
00:43I'm not done yet.
01:02All right, Jimbo, let's go to the next one, Hack.
01:05Is this the one you wanted to do with the stuff we got in the back?
01:09Yes, that's been here for two years.
01:11So we've been working on a bike for a couple years now, and we keep tinkering with it.
01:15And finally, we had the opportunity to turn it into something really cool.
01:19So Paul decided to take what we've already started and use it and finish it up, and we're going to
01:23surprise Joan with it.
01:24So this is the bike.
01:25Oh, no, no, no.
01:26You can see how much dust it's on.
01:27I've been in the back room for a couple years.
01:29This is the one my wife's always saying, when are you going to do my chopper?
01:32When are you going to do my chopper?
01:33So we have time now.
01:36We're pretty caught up.
01:37She's going to come in later.
01:39This is going to be a surprise for Saturday party.
01:42She doesn't know it, so she's going to come in and help me work on the bike a little bit.
01:46At least I think she's going to do that.
01:48She's bringing her girlfriend.
01:49That's going to be a huge distraction.
01:52Also, I'll be giving her a surprise wedding ring.
01:55I met Joanie Kaye because I was looking for a dog.
02:00And through somebody else, they said, well, they know this lady that runs the shelter.
02:07And they have a mastiff there.
02:10And, of course, they said, well, they're going to put it down.
02:13And as soon as I heard that, it was like, no, I'll take the dog, you know.
02:16And that's pretty much how we met, you know.
02:18Then I started working at the shelter.
02:20I dropped the tree on her car.
02:23And I got her telephone number.
02:27So, yeah, dropping the tree on the car paid off.
02:34I just bought new tires and new wheels for this.
02:36Oh, I saw those.
02:37I didn't know what you were doing.
02:38That's good.
02:39I don't know if the spacing is going to be right.
02:41They're nice looking.
02:42Yeah, let's slide this up.
02:43Ready?
02:44One, two.
02:45That should be good, right?
02:47Yeah.
02:47Got this.
02:49That don't seem right.
02:50Probably going to need another space on here.
02:52I'm thinking.
02:54That's the front.
02:55That's the rear.
02:57This is the rear, okay.
02:59All the ratchet, the stuff.
03:01Oh, it's in the, it's in that bin over there.
03:11Look at this.
03:13Ah, me too.
03:15Wow.
03:16You don't want to strip that.
03:18You got it?
03:19Yep.
03:21Ah.
03:24Yachting.
03:34You must put that over there.
03:36You want to throw it on.
03:38Say 9 16ths, Jim.
03:42I don't know.
03:43You think we were going to want a spacer on this?
03:45Is there a spacer on it?
03:47There was.
03:47On what?
03:48Came off of this.
03:50Yeah, leave it on there.
04:00So we're really fortunate to have a painter right next to our shop.
04:05He works for Bert and does most of his paint, but he's done quite a bit of paint for us.
04:11Yeah.
04:11You mentioned one scallop.
04:14So, I mean, there's three.
04:16There's two right here, right?
04:17Yeah, I think.
04:18We got three right here.
04:19Three or two?
04:20The yellow on it is.
04:21The yellow is going to be blue.
04:23Right here.
04:24This would be white.
04:27I'm confused.
04:28Yeah.
04:29Whatever's open will be the white.
04:32This is all going to be white.
04:34Correct.
04:35Within.
04:37Within that area will be white.
04:40So, this is all going to be white?
04:42Correct.
04:43Okay.
04:44So, I can bring the scallops to the side here.
04:48Maybe do two more if you want full scallops.
04:50I'll have a nice blue.
04:52It is a nice blue.
04:53Yeah, a very nice blue.
04:54You want me to put a pearl over that, too?
04:56Just a real light pearl.
04:57It'll stay this color, but out in the sun, I'll have a mess sparkle to it.
05:00Yeah, I'll do that.
05:01And the color, I think the color's great.
05:03You know, I wanted a powder blue.
05:06For Joan, I think it'll look really nice.
05:08It's a surprise bike.
05:09It's the one that she's been saying, well, where's my bike?
05:15When's my custom bike going to be done?
05:16So, it's going to be done.
05:17I picked the colors.
05:18I think she'll love them.
05:20And I think the bike's going to look great.
05:21Where's the sprocket?
05:23Oh, God bless whoever's getting this bike.
05:25And Joan still does not know that that's her bike.
05:38So, Stacey is a friend of Paul and Jones and myself.
05:41We've known her for years.
05:42I met her at Gulch Gym in Newburgh 20, 30 years ago.
05:45And is always around and doing stuff with us and in our family groupings and friendship groupings.
05:50So, it's going to be fun to have her here working on the bike.
05:52Don't be excited, Jim.
05:53It's been a long time ever, ever in your life.
05:55How bad about Paul?
05:56Let me just tell you what happened.
05:58Don't tell me nothing.
05:59Don't tell me nothing.
06:01It's 12.32.
06:02She was here at 11.30 out in her car.
06:05It's 11.30.
06:06She's got to go further than you do.
06:07Yeah.
06:08And she still didn't have time to do her hair.
06:09I don't want to do it.
06:11She didn't do hair in makeup.
06:12Are you going to get your hair dirty?
06:13Are you going to get your hands dirty with that dress on?
06:15How are you?
06:15Why am I getting my hair?
06:16I'm not getting my hands dirty.
06:17Shut up.
06:18We just stopped to visit you.
06:20Hi, honey.
06:21Hi, honey.
06:23You only kissed me on the lips.
06:25No.
06:26No, you just did.
06:26You're furry mustaches and needs a haircut for about three months.
06:30I used to have this lady that used to trim my mustache.
06:34Yeah, she used to do a good job.
06:35No, I need the ratchet.
06:36You need the ratchet, Jim.
06:38Over there.
06:38I gave it to you.
06:39This is the wrong ratchet.
06:42Is this going to become a bike?
06:44And that's the wrong one?
06:44This is a bike for a customer.
06:47This is the last bike we got to do.
06:49We had, we were, this is like the sixth bike that we're doing in a row.
06:52Oh, poor you.
06:53So tough being here.
06:55In a row.
06:56You ready?
06:57You got that?
06:58Okay, Jim.
06:59Hold on.
06:59Tight.
07:02Thank God.
07:03You need a rack?
07:04You need my help?
07:05Can we get the drill?
07:06What do you want me to do?
07:07Tell me.
07:08Don't worry.
07:08There's plenty to do.
07:09So I'm going to tell you, I'm going to tell you, and don't open your mouth, okay?
07:13I'm going to tell you how I met this lady here, Stacey.
07:18So Stacey is just really a true close friend.
07:21She does the same thing I do.
07:23She does some time still up in New York and a couple of weeks down here.
07:26It takes a little while to get to know Stacey.
07:30She's brutally honest, which is hilarious.
07:33But she's been close with Paul literally since they're like 18.
07:37So when I got divorced with my first wife, I started going to Gold's Gym.
07:43She was 16.
07:44I just don't interrupt me, okay?
07:47She thinks she was 16, right?
07:49I don't know how old I was.
07:51I was younger.
07:51I was 50.
07:54Yeah, probably was.
07:55No, we're not that far.
07:58And she had a boyfriend.
08:00She had a boyfriend.
08:03Yeah.
08:05Which boyfriend was this boyfriend?
08:06I was 19.
08:07Oh, you get emotional?
08:09I was 19.
08:10Yeah.
08:10Yeah, that was the...
08:11Oh, I'm shutting up.
08:12And she had a boyfriend that was my best friend ever.
08:15I miss...
08:20A couple of years ago.
08:23Stacey had, uh...
08:28To go out of town, and Jimmy was fighting kidney disease.
08:32So I stopped by.
08:33He was looking for some supplements that we all take in the morning.
08:37And I said, hey, Jim, we have to, uh...
08:41Pick a time for dinner.
08:42And he said, let's do 6.30, and I can't wait for you to meet the, uh...
08:45Dogs that are telling you all about her.
08:46She wants to volunteer at the shelter.
08:48And Jimmy was probably the toughest guy I knew.
08:51Like, the truest friend I think Paul's had.
08:55And I went to the office, and, uh...
08:58I just said, okay, we'll do 6.30 at the following restaurant.
09:01Pulled away.
09:02And Stacey called me, and she said,
09:04Jimmy fell off...
09:07The deck.
09:08And I was like, what do you mean?
09:09I said, I'm on my way.
09:10And knowing Jimmy was a pretty proud guy.
09:12He was really a big dude.
09:13I thought, like, he fell, so I didn't want to call an ambulance or anything because he'd be mad.
09:20Like, he'd be really mad.
09:21Unfortunately, Jimmy had gotten a call, and he got a call from the hospital, and whatever they told him.
09:28Uh, he walked out on the deck and took his life.
09:31So I had to make that call to Stacey.
09:33So as funny and crazy and loving as Stacey is, we go deep.
09:43The amazing thing about Stacey is that they were, like, together since they were, like, 18 or 19.
09:49She's resilient.
09:51She never holds back, even when you want her to.
09:55So she's really hilarious in a lot of ways.
09:57But our relationship is deep.
09:59You know, we share.
10:02Tough times.
10:03Well, she can handle Paul better than anybody I know.
10:07Um, when Paul's being Paul, Stacey puts Paul on her in his place like nobody I've ever seen.
10:15And, uh, their relationship has a truly special bond because of Jimmy.
10:19And I think just because they go back since she was 18 years old, she's a gym rat just like
10:24him.
10:25And, uh, they spent a lot of time together, so.
10:28I think she's fun.
10:29I think we should have more of her on the show.
10:32Anyhow, okay.
10:33So, um, I don't know.
10:36I was going there for a while.
10:37She had a boyfriend, and she wanted to marry me.
10:42Change that subject real quick.
10:43She wanted to marry me for a long time.
10:48Followed you around the gym.
10:49I drove you nuts for probably 20 years.
10:52I don't even know how I'm not married to you yet.
10:54Or am I clear your third ex-wife?
10:56I felt that you were too old.
10:58She was too old for me.
10:59Yeah, too old.
11:00Yes, she was too old for me.
11:01That's why I'm helping him change his diaper now.
11:04Yeah, go ahead.
11:06All right, what are we doing?
11:07What are we doing?
11:08Since you got them to help you out, I'm going to go check on paint.
11:11Help us.
11:11What?
11:11Wait, what?
11:12So these two can work on it?
11:13Yeah, okay.
11:14This will be interesting.
11:15What am I working on?
11:17You yell at me once, and I'm punching you in the face.
11:19And I don't know where that is.
11:21That's my line.
11:21I'm just telling...
11:22Okay.
11:24Look, he doesn't like...
11:25Oh, he's got to bend over now.
11:26This should be interesting.
11:27Oh, it's hard to bend over, too.
11:28Careful.
11:29All right, good job.
11:30Very impressive.
11:33Oh, God, he misses you, Stace.
11:35That's why he doesn't return your calls.
11:36Paul's been a part of my life.
11:37I mean, it's my world.
11:39He's in it.
11:40But at the same instance, I deal with him still because he doesn't go away.
11:46No matter how many years later it is, he doesn't go away.
11:49Before fame, during fame.
11:51After fame.
11:53Maybe fame again.
11:55That's just Paul.
11:56It has to fit in here.
11:57Paul, I have a client at four.
11:59Here you go.
11:59This guy, it was in there.
12:00Here, you could start talking.
12:01By the way, Stace, he said it's not in there.
12:03It was in there.
12:04It was the next one over.
12:05This is just a test.
12:05I'm good at this, so don't mess with me.
12:07Watch out.
12:08I'm going to get him started.
12:11Don't you have, like, a loot?
12:12Nobody would ever know you were a hairdresser.
12:14I know.
12:14Nobody would ever know.
12:15Not a hairdresser.
12:16Not taking new clients.
12:20Trying to...
12:21Oh, there's another side.
12:23Loctite.
12:24Loctite.
12:25Wait a minute.
12:26Wait a minute.
12:26You've got to put the sprocket on first.
12:28No, I did put the sprocket.
12:29You told me to put it in.
12:31Where's the sprocket?
12:32Oh, God bless whoever's getting this bike.
12:33And Joan still does not know that that's her bike.
12:37Who did that?
12:38You?
12:38No.
12:39Yeah.
12:39Who did it?
12:40Great color, right?
12:41Beautiful color.
12:43Baby blue.
12:43I don't like blue.
12:44So I'm not sure she's going to like it or not going to like it, but the bike's going to
12:49be cool.
12:50I do.
12:50You don't like blue?
12:51That's so nasty of you.
12:53It's beautiful.
12:54I think it's not for you anyhow, so who cares?
12:55Oh, no, it's pretty.
12:57My wife, she doesn't need to be led around that somebody just as crazy or crazier than she is.
13:04Ow, not that.
13:06Slide this.
13:08This has got to go inside here.
13:08It's all one piece, dude.
13:10Okay, so I got to move the tire.
13:12God, it's definitely crooked.
13:14I mean, if that's the situation.
13:15You see this axle here, Joan?
13:17Yeah.
13:18You got to line that up and I'll push it through.
13:19Okay.
13:20I got to make sure we do it right because the customer, all they deserve is the best.
13:24What a wrench is this.
13:25I thought you changed tires.
13:27I never changed a tire.
13:29Do I look like I changed tires?
13:30You said you.
13:31I mean...
13:31She's totally off the hook.
13:33She's a great person.
13:34She's the best-hearted person.
13:35She loves animals, but she's nuts.
13:38But I think that's why we get along so good, so...
13:42Okay.
13:43I love you.
13:44No, you don't.
13:45No, you don't.
13:45Say it louder.
13:46Bye, Joan.
13:47You can say goodbye to me.
13:49She don't like you, Paul.
13:50I built my first bike.
13:52Pretty good, right?
13:53I mean, it was crooked.
13:55But it's not my fault.
13:56His fault.
13:57And we got to undo everything we did.
13:59Well, Joanie's been one of my best friends for, I don't know, how long they're together
14:02now.
14:03I didn't do her hair today, so if anyone has any critique on it, it wasn't my work, just
14:07so you know.
14:07Yeah.
14:07It was good to see her, and it was good to see her leave.
14:40I mean, we were way off.
14:40We were going to fix her.
14:41And we're going to do a little bit of a repair system because the one that came with that,
14:43like a real junk system.
14:46So that's got to be changed.
14:47we can't center out the wheel with that the way it is and so that'll be the first thing that
14:51we'll
14:52work on is getting that wheel centered up and get that front end on albie he's already looking at
14:58the wiring so he's already having a fit they're like what's this so we'll talk about tighten
15:05everything up today if you guys want to put the front end on right about the front end on can
15:12or
15:12you got to clean that wiring up for or whatever you want to do but what does he want to
15:16do put
15:17the front end on yeah but all right let's take this axon stuff very free you want to log it
15:39down
15:39or you want to wait to see if you need that spacer let's lock it down in the case we
15:45get lucky
16:07in my senior year my I got like suspended I don't know how many times smoking in the bathroom and
16:14everything so they said they said you're not going to graduate yeah we're not gonna yeah so
16:18they asked my dad to come to he comes to the school and we went down into the his office
16:25and
16:25the principal said uh so you know I'm sorry to tell you that uh your son's not going to graduate
16:31this
16:32year and my father looked at him for a second he said listen he said I don't give a if
16:38he stays here
16:39until he has a beer he's graduating I graduated yeah
16:53go ahead Jim ow go ahead Jim so we were working Paul and I were working on the rear end
17:04of Jones bike it
17:05had a different mounting system for the caliper in the back which mounts directly to a bracket on the
17:09frame that's welded there so when we switched the rims out and modified some of the sizing in
17:15the back there were some issues with it so we had to figure out what we were going to do
17:19and how we
17:19were going to remedy it I wanted to get that free run and not all the way over there and
17:23then we can
17:24look and see it should work you know what I mean yep by the way it's not going to work
17:28Jim it's a bad
17:29attitude well it didn't work did it it did work we we we've got the new brake and it's going
17:35to work so
17:35you know it'll work see it's just like a wife the first one didn't so you try it so listen
17:40yeah
17:41that one didn't work that one didn't work so so it'll be alright yeah that'll work Paul and I finally
17:48got the tire centered and the caliper spacing set up so we're going so we're gonna mount this bracket
17:54to lock everything in place Drew's gonna throw some tacks on it and we should be good to go
18:11it'll only take a second to put the back tire on the front end nuts yeah and we were able
18:17to figure
18:17that out put it back together after taking it apart a couple times it fit perfect the rear fender went
18:23on there was no issues there which is very fortunate so we're gonna be moving forward and I think we'll
18:28be
18:28able to finish this on time I think we had a pretty good day today you know a little curbs
18:33here and uh
18:34this afternoon with the rear tire and the usual stuff I guess but uh we're at the point we're
18:41starting to button it up uh I think that uh tomorrow we'll probably have it uh up and running and
18:47uh get
18:47out on the road and take it for a test run you know it's been a male-dominated industry for
18:52quite some
18:52time I love to see you know women showing their talents and uh it's our time between Casey with
18:59the artistry uh Jen working on the Eagle Fran and everything she does for the community Joan coming in
19:06on it uh it's been a lot of women and it's great to be able to tell their stories and
19:10share what they
19:10do with everybody else I liked it before you finished it so I took this idea from a Temptations album
19:18cover it was from a live show Temptations yeah and then I uh incorporated Abbey Road
19:24and then there's six for your six kids and then if you look up in the top there's 15 bulbs
19:33but only
19:3313 are lit up for your 13 pets and then you look in each there's a couple little uh stars
19:41in there that
19:41are silver leaf those are for your grandkids there's seven of them and then you have one big star
19:47right up at the front for Joan for Jim for Joan I thought you said for Jim I was gonna
19:53say
19:53give me the grinder he's special but not that kind of special you know what I mean
19:59glad you like it thank you so much thanks for giving me the opportunity I don't I don't hug
20:06anyone either so it'll never happen again it's just a moment it was our moment
20:13I got hug got to meet Paul and you know when he came in for lunch and stuff like that
20:20and uh just so
20:22happens that I apparently am the only one who can get his orders right when he first started coming in
20:28so I became his kind of day-to-day bartender to make sure his food was always right I've known
20:33her for quite some time and knew she was an amazing artist so it was a no-brainer to bring
20:37her in on
20:38this the design is insane she's got the colors and the concept Paul had mentioned to her she put her
20:43own twist on it and she put some numbers in there which represent Paul and Joan and their families and
20:47their animals which only people who know the story are gonna recognize otherwise they're just gonna
20:51think it's a cool piece of the artwork uh she knocked it out it's really cool to you know go
20:57from
20:57watching him on TV to knowing him as a person and yeah you can't really judge a book by what
21:02you see
21:03on TV because he's a he's a big old teddy bear so Paul called me and asked me to come
21:08to Florida to
21:09help pick out a ring for my mom he had never gotten her ring yet but they've been married for
21:14a long time
21:14so he really wanted to get her a ring especially because he's building a bike for her too and he
21:18wants to surprise her with both at the same time so he asked me to come down take a look
21:23at the bike
21:23make sure everything looks good what that she would like it and help to pick out the ring that
21:27she would like do you have any idea what you're doing nope nothing you have not a clip yeah kind
21:33go you know what size she wears five five and a half yep that's a guy with a Colleen deal
21:42deal
21:50um ready Freddy's I don't know no no we'll look when we get in there relax
22:00um we are actually looking to buy a ring congratulations thank you if you guys want
22:04to go ahead on back to a bottle selection I'll send someone to help you out in just a few
22:08minutes okay
22:09thank you welcome to the golden dinosaurs how are you how are you I'm hola hi I'm Sammy Sammy nice

22:28less than 12 hours how are you welcome come on in all right let's uh this is it right here
22:35it looks
22:36nice it's beautiful so that's what she wants cushion oh she wants question that's what she
22:41wanted cushion listen the square in the cushion square has right like pointy edges and cushion
22:45yeah look look at the edges I mean I'm a guy so you know I mean if I were to
22:51I believe that
22:52she wants cushion if what I think she wants cushion you don't think it's too boozy boozy no
22:58it would be bougie is the word I think you're looking for you see how surrounded with diamonds
23:03that's a halo so it's it's a halo around it halo mm-hmm like the angel halo yeah there you
23:11go thank
23:12you right isn't your mother an angel this one right yeah because I think you yeah I think she'll
23:21like this one better I love it I mean she could wear that when she's feeding the pigs right don't
23:26you
23:26think yeah she'll be picking up cow you want the wedding band yeah no I don't need that what do
23:31you
23:31need that for okay do you know how this works I'm just like I'm honestly asking there's like an
23:36engagement ring when you were first supposed to give a ring that you didn't do now you're getting it
23:41but you're already married so she should already have two rings a wedding band from the wedding
23:45and the engagement ring from the initial proposal so yeah she should have to the both okay
23:53the deal congratulations so we went ring shopping today we probably should have done this a little
23:59bit better we probably should have started with a budget when we walked in that one's got to be
24:03gooku box with a guess mm-hmm sorry I was just gonna see about the price range before we go
24:10back
24:11over there on camera do you know about how much yeah but I'm getting I'm getting a price from state
24:16this is two hundred and twenty thousand two hundred and twenty thousand yeah perhaps we're gonna have to
24:21talk about this two hundred and thirty thousand dollars we were way off I guess we probably should
24:26start with the budget yeah so we ended up going from a five or six carat diamond down to just
24:34under
24:34a three carat diamond and got a really nice setting they gave us a great price it ended up working
24:38out
24:38really well but it's nice mm-hmm yeah that's beautiful and it's less gaudy is what you or would
24:44you call it this is boozy that is pushing done done deal all right credit card please I need your
24:58card
25:00partner I have the numbers can you input the numbers what are the credit card I have the credit card
25:03not
25:04the debit card I wonder why bank accounts from dropping down so it's uh so it's over I I uh
25:12I
25:12was a little bit anxious about this uh for quite some time now so these guys helped me out my
25:18uh
25:18stepdaughter here uh was a big help thank God he's a big help she helps me spend my money
25:26that was a good I thought she'll be happy you know what I mean I think she doesn't really she
25:31doesn't really she's not like a boozy boozy boozy a boozy a boozer she's a loser she's just not
25:37bougie don't get back to us yeah very big difference there she's so good yeah all right let's do it
25:46all right let's get back over to the show hey everything is new we didn't use one piece of the
25:52other one where's Christian at yeah so I just think we had a lot in common Al doesn't like many
26:00people
26:00pretty much nobody probably nobody so he likes me I don't really care if he likes anybody else
26:08he likes dogs I like dogs that clutch moving at home clutch no well I gotta go in or out
26:15out gotta go
26:16out out problems with the primary and the clutch not working right uh couldn't get the clutch adjusted
26:23it was too too heavy Alan is like he's just ternaceous he just does not stop at anything
26:31you know and he couldn't figure it out neither I'm gonna see if I have another nut and just zipped
26:36it
26:36off right well I guess I don't know you have another basket now we gotta take a whole clutch part
26:41again
26:42on me well yeah in the belt yeah you're paying the ended up taking it all off throwing it away
26:50and
26:50putting a whole different setup from BDL on it we're trying to get it get it all buttoned up here
26:55we we
26:55ran into a problem with the belt drive and the clutch not not adjusting right um so we ended up
27:02trashing that and we're got a BDL clutch that we're putting in now and uh we'll put that on after
27:09lunch and hopefully problems we had will go away well you probably already in already you're already
27:14in yeah I know but it was the same thing with the other one I mean we can't I can
27:20hardly I definitely
27:21not hitting the clutch now I'm not hitting the other side I don't believe so everything's new that
27:29even the nut everything that holds it everything is new we didn't use one piece of the other one
27:35where's Christian then yeah they keep coming in this is this is his this is his specialty you want
27:44me to check with him or leave him alone so Paul called me up he said he had a problem
27:48he needed me
27:49to get there right away perfect timing what are you guys doing how are you Jim good you good to
27:55see
27:55hey Paul hey Al we're uh all right troubleshooting we're we're changing having a NASCAR drill
28:04on clutch NASCAR what on and off on and off on and off like tire change much oh we put
28:11a brand new
28:11belt drive on there it's still not working but this is what this is Jones bike right yeah what's wrong
28:17with it you can't we just can't get the the the adjustments it was hanging up but at the lever
28:24you
28:24mean it's hanging up tight I go so we changed the whole belt drive because if he didn't come in
28:32help Alan us we'd still be working on the bike good yeah all right let me see yeah I told
28:44you I said
28:45early what'd I say earlier change that umbrella did I tell you that right after you said you loved me
28:52you said to change the umbrella we had it happen before we did we had we had and we spent
28:59hours
29:03hey Al you great give me a longer screwdriver we got oh yeah
29:18so right now we're just basically cleaning the bike up a little bit
29:21and I think that uh pretty much we're ready to drop it down see if some starts
29:44and we got it all squared away and rode rode pretty good
29:58it's been cool man this you know these past six bikes it's been a trip we've had a lot of
30:03laps you
30:04know some fun times it's great to see Paul again I'm glad he reached out and asked me to be
30:09a part
30:09of this you know it's it's a big thing man it's something to be proud of yeah so tomorrow morning
30:14I'm gonna go pick up the diamond check it out make sure everything's good and we're gonna head up to
30:18the house and surprise her she thinks everyone's coming over for her birthday but little does she
30:21know a bike and a new ring are coming so I'm really excited to see what she thinks about both
30:27the other day I was in the shop and they showed me something they said what do you think and
30:32I
30:32said I don't like blue
30:53hold it here and opens this one I would open it the other way
30:57I know and it's already 310 by 345 start to get the bikes what happens around four
31:03good job all right let's see you I'll take care of her sometimes you might say it's a love
31:08it might be a love hate relationship but you know the the bottom line is um she's always been there
31:15for
31:16me you know about two weeks ago Paul said I have to talk to you you just know like as
31:20a as a wife
31:21right when your husband says I have to talk to you it's usually not good and he said okay so
31:26here's
31:26the deal there's like 120 people coming and uh I don't know what I'm supposed to do or what we're
31:32supposed to do and I said where are they coming assuming that we were gonna do it at OCC and
31:36he
31:36said no they they wanted to do it at the house I said Paul we live on a farm we
31:41don't have parking
31:41where would you put 120 people at a small farmhouse you know so actually it was pretty funny because
31:48he's like well I just know that you always figure stuff out so this whole thing um was probably the
31:53biggest stress bomb dropped on me did anybody see the liquor guy seriously the liquor guy oh
32:00everybody's in panic over here right yeah everybody's starting to shake it's also uh in 90 days we've had
32:10three days of rain it's a dirt fest so you're not getting out of here with clean feet that's all
32:15I can
32:16tell you I'll be right back all right I'm gonna bring I'm gonna bring the bike back yeah yeah no
32:24no we're good they got they got done watch that guy over there hey keep an eye on that guy
32:30you got
32:38watch out I don't want everybody there were so many people from various parts of my life you know
32:47there were people here friends of mine from when I was 14 and 15 it was definitely moving I think
32:52as
32:53you move on in life 62 years old I think that you really appreciate relationships and good people
32:59um and to look around today my my friends from down here it was awesome feeling to just see all
33:05these
33:06people from all walks of life here you know to celebrate with us I just wanted to say thank you
33:11to everyone who came to celebrate her birthday uh she really appreciates it I know a lot of people
33:16traveled long and far to be here and we actually have something that we wanted to share Paul has
33:21actually has a surprise for her so Joan mom I'll let her do the thanking herself as well thank you
33:32guys this is amazing I really um can't I look around and I see all these people from different
33:38walks of my Congress in the back so actually uh we all know each other since we are 14 years
33:47old back
33:47there we've made some great new friends down here as well we have some of our friends that came in
33:53from back home in New York over here in the upstate New York so when I look around I see
33:59all the facets of
34:00our life and and all of the people that have come out today and I can't thank you enough because
34:05it's been
34:05awesome and we're having a great time and I hope you're having a great time too and don't worry more
34:11liquors on the way but in the meantime since we're holding out on that you can take a step this
34:15way
34:16there's a surprise for you
34:35so so the best is happy birthday I had no clue like honestly Jim was showing me a fender or
34:43something
34:43and I was like oh it's pretty cool I don't know I don't really like blue but it's pretty cool
34:47the
34:48other day I was in the shop and they showed me something they said what do you think and I
34:53said I
34:53don't like blue sorry it looks a lot better now that it's on the bike just for the record
35:03it does look good actually really good she keeps asking where are my choppers all the time where's my
35:08chopper and we've been uh you know doing the show and we've been like really busy I really like the
35:13bike I think that my mom's gonna like it I love the color I love the gas tank I love
35:17everything about
35:18it I like that it's low to the ground it's an easy ride um just kind of waiting for when
35:22he's gonna
35:22build me one just like it I just figured this would be a good birthday present yeah by the way
35:31I like
35:31that color blue I really screwed up on that one last week so I'm not done yet here
35:41so we we spent a lot of time riding bikes together every day and um so I can't help it
35:50I'm still laughing at now I just think it's funny but um but so we used to ride past the
35:58um
35:58the justice of the peace every day you know and every once in a while we would like look
36:05we would like look over there and we'd both say no no that's not happening man never again never again
36:12so one day um they had a sale yeah remember they had a sale it was a sale
36:18on marriage license so anyhow we said I'm gonna say she said let's go but she's gonna tell you that
36:27I
36:27said let's go so but anyhow so yeah so we go in there we fill out the papers real quick
36:33sign her name
36:34get up there I do you do and and there was like a plastic bouquet of flowers in the vase
36:41and I gave her
36:43that and uh we uh we went to lunch and that was like yeah we never really uh had a
36:50wedding uh or
36:52anything like that you know so I figured I'd get you something I figured I'd get you something
37:04is it blue I can't open it your daughter showed me how to open this there it is oh my
37:12god thank you
37:33so I just want to say that I really love my wife but what I like more about her that
37:38she puts up with
37:39me thanks for coming everybody I appreciate it
37:47and definitely had no clue about the ring he did a pretty good job on that today
37:53um ring bike come on he worked hard at it so I got to give him a couple of points
37:58a motorcycle and a ring holy cow must be special that's for sure well thank you again for all of
38:08you being here to be a part of this figured that uh my daughter Sam probably had a hand in
38:13this but
38:14I was like there's no way that he did this by himself for Paul getting this ring honestly was
38:20a surprise to me because he's not really romantic I pick out the Christmas gifts the birthday gifts
38:25forget Valentine's Day he doesn't even remember when it is so this to me when he asked me to come
38:29and do it I was like all right that's really nice for my mom because he doesn't do a lot
38:32of nice
38:32things like that like he's he'd give her the shirt off his back but he definitely doesn't think
38:36proactively on gifts or things like holidays so it was really nice thanks for coming and let's go
38:41have a good time I'm on a farm so there so maybe what they'll do is me feeding lines and
38:49then
38:49my daughter's like oh my god I told you to get a manicure oh my god your feet are filthy
38:53I'm like
38:53well I have been out on a farm all day like they're not going to be clean
39:04very pretty it was so funny because you go to all these unveils reveals and like you can't wait
39:11to see like what the people's response are you know I think it's a gift that Paul has always had
39:17I think I think she liked it I think she liked the ring you know happy days right big big
39:23rock
39:24that was nice all did a good job the bike is beautiful the ring came out great Paul didn't
39:30you know didn't lose it which was amazing also and all great they were some great friends and
39:34family I mean it's great day weather's perfect you know everyone here the love is in the air and good
39:41vibes he's breaking his chops I said to him you know it just dawned on me you never came and
39:47asked
39:47me for my daughter's hand in marriage yeah well I think the main thing she was surprised that's for
39:54sure yeah so I think it was good I think it was good I'm not like I don't know I'm
40:01not really good at
40:02that kind of stuff you know so so I did pretty good for not being so good at it very
40:08nice celebration
40:09and we were happy to be a part of it very happy and I wish you all the best to
40:16Paul and Joan thank
40:17you for letting me be a part of such an amazing project and uh we're looking forward to season
40:22two baby we're having a great time Paul's great Joan is great family's fantastic it's a beautiful day
40:28and uh thank you for the invite I feel very special God bless you guys happy birthday Johnny love you
40:38Bob do you have crazy friends or what oh my god did you see how close that was surreal surreal
40:45what a
40:46season if you told me 20 years ago that we would have been doing this I don't know I guess
40:51I probably
40:52would have believed it because we do crazy stuff so doing six spikes in such a short period of time
40:58and then being filmed all day while you're doing it it's a little frustrating a little hectic uh but
41:03it's a challenge we all took on when we started this the great thing about doing it this time is
41:07Paul owns 100 of the show the editing the production the stories come from the customer and Paul so it's
41:14OCC
41:15his way and our way because it's a team effort when you see the bike finished and the unveil it's
41:20worth it
