00:00Alex writes, over the weekend, my girlfriend and I got stuck in a traffic jam where nothing was moving.
00:07Of course, that turned into a whole debate about what you're supposed to do when you really have to pee
00:11and you're not going anywhere.
00:14Alex said, I told her I would just use an empty water bottle that we had in the car and
00:18be done with it.
00:19But she thought that was disgusting.
00:20So then I said, OK, well, what if I pull over to the shoulder of the road, like on the
00:24side of the road?
00:25And she said, that's just inappropriate.
00:28So now we're sitting here thinking, like, what are you actually supposed to do?
00:32Because both of those options seem better than just wetting your pants.
00:38Unless the real answer is that we should all be driving around with backup clothes or adult diapers.
00:43What is the right move in the situation?
00:46Wow.
00:47OK, Alex, you came to the right place.
00:50Yeah, you did.
00:51Because this is like a daily occurrence for our Donnie.
00:55Every day.
00:55I have to worry about this.
00:56I don't know if you remember, but it happened to me a few years ago where I got stuck in
01:01traffic.
01:01It was a really bad accident on the highway on my way into work.
01:04And I was there for hours, like the whole show.
01:06I was just calling in and I was running out of gas and I had to go to the bathroom
01:10and it was winter.
01:11Yeah.
01:12Right.
01:12But I just I just held it.
01:14Really?
01:14I just held it that long.
01:16Yeah.
01:16It was painful.
01:18And I feel like that's how you get infections.
01:20Like nothing good is coming of that.
01:22No.
01:22But yeah, I just held it.
01:24You, though, you, though, I don't think there's a rule book for what you're actually supposed to do.
01:29Yeah.
01:29You got to do what you got to do.
01:31You just can't expose yourself to others.
01:34Sure.
01:34You know, you try to make it as as private as possible.
01:37Sure.
01:37I have to deal with this on a daily occurrence because I do have irritable bowel syndrome.
01:40My stomach's really bad and I also have anxiety.
01:43So whenever I get anxious or I feel like I'm trapped, I immediately have to go to the bathroom.
01:47It doesn't matter if I just went.
01:49It will automatically happen.
01:51It's amazing how your body just always is ready to go.
01:54Yeah.
01:55But I am prepared.
01:57Yeah.
01:57So in my car, I have everything I would possibly need to go possibly in the car or outside of
02:04the car.
02:05Wow.
02:05For it to happen.
02:07Wow.
02:07For it to be private.
02:09Yeah.
02:09For it to clean up.
02:10Okay.
02:11For it to be disposed of.
02:12So I appreciate that you have this forethought because you've been in the situation, but you, but like realistically, most
02:21people don't really need to worry that much about it.
02:25No.
02:25Right.
02:25Like it's going to be a rare occurrence that you're actually trapped in this situation.
02:29So chances are you're not even going to have toilet paper, let alone a bucket.
02:34An extra pair of clothes.
02:34Yeah.
02:35Right.
02:35Like all the things.
02:36Yeah.
02:36So I think the water bottle is perfectly fine.
