00:13I was praying that they could save him.
00:17This is a personal thing.
00:19I shot him twice, and then said, remember me, bitch.
00:23We have two names.
00:25We have no idea who they are.
00:27If they go inside, we know we will have them at that point.
00:30Your adrenaline is going.
00:32It was very exciting.
00:33Without the surveillance in this case, we'd have been left with just names.
00:37He asked me where I left the gun.
00:41It was the biggest nightmare I've ever had in my life.
01:09Father of three, Rodney Thurber repairs computers for a living in the apartment he shares with his girlfriend, Nadia Cole.
01:16This one, honey?
01:18Perfect, yes.
01:20I met Rodney in 2016 through an ad for a room.
01:25Just a very sweet and generous man.
01:28He loved spending time with his kids.
01:30I needed some help, and I needed a place to stay.
01:35We just hit it off.
01:37Do you want to have it?
01:38Yeah.
01:39Rodney liked working on computers.
01:41He was teaching me how to put them back together, how to take them apart, how to replace things that
01:47didn't work.
01:48He was a very smart man.
01:51He was constantly reading anything and everything.
01:54He had a very high IQ.
01:57We had fun together, especially learning the computer.
02:02This doesn't do it.
02:03He made it fun.
02:04We connected very well.
02:13That day, we were just kind of lounged around all day.
02:16We were going to watch a movie and just sit and talk.
02:22It was just going to be the two of us.
02:26But we didn't get very far with him.
02:41Our dispatch received a 911 call about a shooting.
02:50The calling party was very hysterical, very emotional.
02:55There was yelling in the background.
02:57It's coming!
02:58We're going to watch a movie!
03:01Moments later, dispatch receives another call about the same incident.
03:06Kansas City 911.
03:08Watch out.
03:09Someone got stuck.
03:10Someone came here and shot this gun.
03:12The shooting had occurred in the second story of a converted house.
03:17Do you know him?
03:18The person who was shot?
03:19Yeah, Rodney.
03:20He's our neighbor.
03:21He just got shot in here.
03:22Can you come, please?
03:24Be losing consciousness.
03:30Officers were dispatched to the scene where the shooting had occurred.
03:39Officers arrived at Tracy Avenue, where the 911 call came from.
03:43There were witnesses that were downstairs waiting for police.
03:48Officers go up the stairs to the top apartment and locate a female and a victim.
03:54He is laying in a pool of blood and was not conscious when officers arrived.
04:01As medics arrive and police are still rendering aid, unfortunately, Rodney succumbs to his injuries
04:08and is pronounced deceased at the scene.
04:11I was praying that they would save him.
04:22That there's no way he could die.
04:25That man was too stubborn to die.
04:27He's going to live forever.
04:30He loved us.
04:34A homicide investigation was initiated at that point.
04:39Ma'am, can I get your name, please?
04:41Our calling party, who was identified as Nadia Cole, she was very emotional.
04:48Officers removed Nadia from the scene.
04:51She is clearly distraught after seeing Rodney die.
04:56She's placed into a warm police vehicle where an officer sits with her, tries to console her
05:02as best they can.
05:08Officers got brief statements from the downstairs neighbors who had kind of described hearing
05:16Mr. Thurber yelling.
05:18He shot me, called police.
05:21Can you describe his features?
05:22How old?
05:23How tall?
05:24No, sir.
05:25I know he was a white male.
05:27They gave us a description of a male running from the scene, but as far as specifics, it
05:34was very difficult.
05:35None of them were able to give us a very good description.
05:40Homicide detectives arrive on scene at 6.50 p.m.
05:45What do you got?
05:46I was the first investigator there.
05:50Mr. Thurber had suffered at least two gunshot wounds, one to his right side, one to the
05:56left shoulder.
06:00There was some damage to the back door where you could tell that it had been kicked.
06:07We found a shoe print.
06:10That led me to believe that this is a personal thing.
06:15He knew what he was going there to do.
06:18He knew who he was looking for and what his intentions were.
06:29I was the on-call prosecutor, so I arrived on scene and made contact with the detectives
06:35that night.
06:36We ID'd the victim, got a witness to the shooting, and possible shoe prints of the
06:42suspect.
06:43The evidence that we were looking for were shell casings, spent bullets, things like
06:47that.
06:49There was an actual spent bullet that had lodged itself in the door.
06:53There were four shell casings that were recovered.
06:56They were a .380 caliber casing.
07:01Any sign of the murder weapon?
07:02We determined that the suspect probably took the firearm with him.
07:05Because it was not found on scene as we were processing Mr. Thurber's apartment.
07:13We located a cell phone in what we determined was his bedroom.
07:21It was taken back to police headquarters for processing and downloading of information.
07:28If you can get into it, it's gold, because you know who they've been in contact with and
07:33what might have caused this to happen.
07:42We now had shell casings, a spent bullet, this shoe print, and now, you know, we found Mr.
07:50Thurber's phone, so we have a lot of really good leads to go on.
07:54We started to look for possible surveillance cameras and house directly north of where Mr.
08:01Thurber's residence was.
08:03There were surveillance cameras that were on the house.
08:13The investigators take the footage from the neighbor's camera to the police department for review.
08:20You're just nervous and hopeful that the footage is actually captured on the camera.
08:30Okay.
08:31Okay.
08:31Cue up five minutes before the 911.
08:33I was excited because it captured the actual driveway that someone would have had to, had gone down to get
08:41back to Rodney's apartment.
08:43it. We knew if it's a car, if it's a person, we're going to capture something.
08:59Hold it. Show that again.
09:11About two minutes prior to the 911 call, a figure walks down the driveway. It's just
09:16so close in proximity to the shooting that this is probably our suspect. Punch it.
09:25Pause it.
09:29Quality of the footage was not great, but it was enough to give us a figure wearing a
09:34coat, walking down the driveway at 6.11 p.m.
09:43This figure, it cuts through a gate and into the driveway to where Mr. Thurber's apartment
09:50is. Keep going. Approximately 6.14, which is about the time the 911 call comes in. The
10:00video captures what appears to be that same individual. They don't exit and go the way
10:07that they came. They turn and go the opposite direction towards Manuel Cleaver 2 Boulevard.
10:12That's our purpose. A hundred percent. Anything happen before the man arrives.
10:22We went back approximately an hour and watched the video to see any comings and goings of anyone
10:29that was coming to or leaving the apartment. Approximately 5.39, we observe what appears to be
10:40a gray or silver BMW that pulls into the drive. Approximately 8 minutes after we observed the
10:50same vehicle leaving, but going southbound towards Manuel Cleaver 2 Boulevard, the fact that the car turns
10:58and goes the same direction that our suspect leaves, it does kind of pique our interest. Does this car have
11:06something to do with this crime? Rewind. Punch in on the plates.
11:18Unfortunately, because of the lighting and the way that this camera is set up,
11:23we couldn't make out the front or the back license plates on us.
11:30Investigators switch gears. They interview Nadia Cole to unlock any clues she has about who shot her
11:36boyfriend. We have to be able to determine if they have information that's relevant to the shooting.
11:41We also have to eliminate them as a possible suspect.
11:45Okay. So then just kind of walk me through, what happened?
11:49I'm here a knock at the door. We weren't expecting anybody, so Ronnie came with me.
11:59I went to open the door and Ronnie says, don't open it.
12:04I already had it open. And the guy shot him twice and then said, remember me, bitch.
12:15Ronnie says, who are you? Tell us your name.
12:20And he said, I'm Patrick and Caitlin, my friend.
12:26And shot him again.
12:29So now we have two names. We have no idea who they are.
12:36That was very odd. It's not very common that we were able to get an information
12:41like that from a shooter in real time.
12:45Does that make sense to you? Some dude's going to come up and murder your boyfriend,
12:48but he's going to tell him his real name. Not real bright, apparently.
12:56And describe it for me.
12:57Long, shorter length, brown hair.
13:01Kind of look like you hadn't brushed it in days.
13:04Mm-hmm.
13:05Long, brown beard.
13:07Mm-hmm.
13:08Big, heavy coat.
13:11When she was asked, had she ever seen him before? She said, I had never seen him. I didn't know
13:15who he was.
13:17Not only do we have Patrick's name as our shooter, but we also have Caitlin.
13:22We asked Nadia, do you know Caitlin? And she says, I've seen her a few times.
13:38She only knows her name is Caitlin. She doesn't know her last name. She doesn't know where she lives.
13:46She believed that Rodney and Caitlin had, at one point, had some kind of a romantic relationship.
13:52And now, Nadia is in a relationship with Rodney. And that raises the question for us, is there a jealousy
13:59aspect to do with this?
14:02One of the weird things Nadia tells police is she says Caitlin had come over prior to the shooting.
14:08And had left this little handgun and asked her to hold on to it.
14:14So tell me how Caitlin came to have you hold this gun for them, for her.
14:20She came over two or three days ago. She asked me if there was somewhere she could put it, until
14:27she could come back and get it.
14:28And why did she want you to keep it again?
14:31She didn't really say.
14:34When Nadia gave us the information about holding the gun for Caitlin, obviously it raised some questions.
14:42A reasonable person would be like, why am I holding this gun for you?
14:46She could never really answer us, other than, well, because Rodney said it was okay.
14:51Did you see Caitlin today?
14:53Yeah, she came to pick up the gun.
14:59So about 30 minutes before the shooting, Caitlin arrives at Rodney's apartment.
15:06Rodney gave her the gun, and she left.
15:09Given the odd circumstances surrounding this gun, detectives ask Nadia if she's involved in the shooting.
15:16There's a lot of stuff that is not getting told right now, okay?
15:21And I don't know why you're keeping some things from me.
15:27Did you shoot Rodney?
15:28No.
15:29Okay.
15:30I would never shoot him.
15:31Okay.
15:33Did Nadia have something to do with setting this up?
15:35Because, well, if I can't have him, then nobody's going to have him, type thing.
15:39For us to be able to eliminate her as a suspect, we asked her to download her phone.
15:45And she, without hesitating, said, absolutely, I will cooperate.
15:57Detective Wells informs Rodney's family of their loved one's murder.
16:01The hardest part of any homicide investigation or death investigation is making contact with the family.
16:08It was very emotional for them.
16:11Of course, they wanted more answers than I could give at that time.
16:16While investigators wait for the report on Nadia's phone data, they hunt for sources of surveillance
16:22footage in the area around Rodney's apartment.
16:25At the end of the block, right on Emmanuel Cleaver II Boulevard, they had just built a McDonald's,
16:33which we knew was going to have some kind of surveillance cameras.
16:39Back at the police department, investigators review the camera footage from the day of Rodney's murder.
16:45Knowing that our suspect had run south towards the McDonald's,
16:49we were hopeful that we could find footage that would show this individual on any of their cameras.
16:57We were focusing on the camera that is facing the Tracy Avenue overlooking the McDonald's parking lot.
17:10He was seen at the house around 6.14 p.m., so play from now.
17:15We wanted to see around the 911 call if there was going to be an individual that was walking south
17:20on Tracy.
17:35Punch in.
17:40And around 6.14 p.m., we see an individual appear walking south on Tracy.
17:46Hold it.
17:47He's wearing the exact type of clothes that was described by Nadia as our shooter,
17:52coming from the exact direction of our crime scene.
17:55It's the guy who was at Rodney's apartment.
17:58Play on.
18:03Change cameras.
18:09Zoom in.
18:14Can you enhance it?
18:16We're unable to see the actual face of the suspect.
18:22Switch angles.
18:27Where is he going?
18:34Any other cameras facing that way?
18:39He ends up heading north and runs across the street and off camera.
18:44And we lose sight of him through the camera angles.
18:47It's frustrating because I still can't say who he is.
18:52Investigators continue to watch the footage in case the suspect returns.
18:57Play on.
19:10Rewind that.
19:16Stop.
19:19About 30 seconds after the suspect leaves camera view.
19:22When we see a silver sedan, similar size, make, and model of our suspect car from the
19:28previous footage. Change cameras.
19:48What are they waiting for? Three minutes passed and the car is just sitting in the
19:53parking lot. Show me the other angles. And then we see our suspect. He starts running
20:05across the street back towards the McDonald's. Punch him. His coat is now open, his hood is
20:13off his head, and we see his long brown hair. We see facial hair. Follow him. He actually
20:22runs up to this silver sedan. He gets in the passenger seat. The BMW backs out and leaves
20:30the parking lot. We now have the suspect, similar to the description that Nadia had given during
20:40her statement. However, we still don't have a license plate for the BMW. We still don't
20:46know who Caitlyn is, and all we have for him is his name is Patrick.
20:57This is all after the murder. The car was seen at the house 30 minutes before.
21:01We wanted to rewind the McDonald's footage and look back towards that 548 time period
21:06where that sedan left the victim's house and drove south on Tracy.
21:10Okay, jump back half an hour.
21:23Okay, stop there.
21:25About a half hour prior to the murder is when we see the sedan drive through the McDonald's
21:29parking lot.
21:31That's the same car.
21:32It drives up, and it gets in line with the drive-thru.
21:37We are very excited because we think we actually might see who's involved in this.
21:43Show me the payment counter.
21:52Punch it.
21:53We're able to see who the driver is.
21:56It's a blonde-haired female matching the description that Nadia gave us of Caitlyn.
22:02Show me the other cameras.
22:17We can see that there is an individual sitting in the passenger seat.
22:22Unfortunately, we're unable to see his face.
22:25Switch to the other camera.
22:28Punch in on the car tag.
22:33We can determine that it is a temporary tag, which is issued when you buy a car, but it's
22:41not visible.
22:48We've gotten to a point where we've collected all the information that we can get from the
22:53surveillance video.
23:04We were able to download Rodney's phone, and in that phone, we were able to locate text
23:10messages on the day of the homicide between Rodney and an individual who identifies herself
23:15as Kate.
23:17Look at this.
23:18This Kate individual is talking with Rodney about coming over and picking up a gun.
23:24It was very specific about she needed to get this gun back from him, that her boyfriend
23:30was going to be mad if she didn't get it back.
23:32Fits with what Nadia said.
23:34All we have is Kate and a phone number.
23:37At the disposal of law enforcement are many systems, including databases.
23:43We put the number in, and it comes back to someone with the name of Caitlin Riffle.
23:50Once we had that, then we start using analysts to help us to find a Facebook account.
23:58Got you.
23:59The photographs are kind of similar in appearance to the female that we see at the McDonald's
24:06in the drive-thru surveillance.
24:09This was another huge break in the case.
24:14But the text messages weren't the only thing we would cover off Rodney's phone.
24:19There was a photograph of a gun, a .380.
24:22We knew that we had .380 shell casings at the scene.
24:26Can you get a serial number off that?
24:31Some of it.
24:32Zooming in on the serial number itself, we were able to read most of the serial number
24:38in this photograph that was on his phone.
24:40However, the first character was kind of distorted.
24:45That information was sent to detectives in our illegal firearm squad.
24:50Hey, it's Detective Wells.
24:51I'm going to send you a serial number I need a trace on.
24:57Thanks.
25:03Wow.
25:04Look at this.
25:05There were multiple photos of a silver BMW, and there were text messages connected to Caitlin
25:11asking him to try and sell this silver BMW.
25:14Not only did he have photographs of a .380 caliber handgun, the same type of caliber that was used to
25:21kill him on his phone, but also photographs of the same type of car that his murder and accomplice used.
25:30Hold on.
25:35Detective Wells notices there's a temporary tag on the back of the car.
25:39And this temporary tag has the VIN number.
25:43I'll look up the partial.
25:45He rushes through the police database to see if this VIN is associated with any police reports.
25:56Got it.
25:58It was determined that that car was stolen five days prior to the homicide.
26:04It's been found.
26:05It's been found.
26:06We got lucky.
26:07The day after the homicide, this car was abandoned in a Walmart parking lot in Lee's Summit, Missouri.
26:15It's possible that the security cameras at the Walmart captured images of the suspect and Caitlin.
26:22Investigators make the 21-mile journey to Lee's Summit to review the store's surveillance footage.
26:28We're trying to get a better look at the suspect's face.
26:35They have surveillance video that covers their parking lots, which is where the car was dumped.
26:52The male subject gets out of the passenger seat.
26:57Which is the next camera?
27:05He's heading towards the store.
27:07The subject walks towards the doors of the Walmart.
27:11If they go inside, we know we will get clear images of their face.
27:16We know we will have them at that point.
27:29He's heading towards the store.
27:31He's just strolling into Walmart like it's any other day.
27:37It's stopped.
27:41Begun.
27:43I was excited, but I knew that there were still additional steps that we had to take to prove that
27:50this is Patrick.
27:53Follow him.
27:58We track this individual we know as Patrick now through the Walmart.
28:03Track him to the till.
28:04He ends up making a purchase.
28:07Can we pull up that transaction record?
28:11He buys a T and we're able to track that purchase.
28:17Walmart gives us the point of sale receipt and tells us that he used a gift card to make that
28:22purchase.
28:23Do you know where he got the card?
28:25The gift card was purchased 21 hours earlier from a different Walmart in Independence, nine miles north of Lee's Summit.
28:34This transaction for this gift card occurred two hours after the homicide.
28:49Detectives are able to recover the footage from the Walmart in Independence.
28:55Okay.
28:55Start with the camera over the parking lot.
29:02Okay.
29:02The transaction was for 8.50 p.m. so let's play about an hour before that.
29:13Around 8.09 we're able to see the silver sedan BMW pull into the parking lot.
29:19Play on.
29:24A female gets out of the car.
29:26Freeze it there.
29:29Punch in.
29:32Is that Caitlyn?
29:34This female takes two children inside.
29:43And then we see another person get out of the car and walk towards the front door.
29:48Switch to inside.
29:50As the doors open, we start watching the interior cameras.
29:56It appears to be Caitlyn with her two kids walking in the store.
30:03And we see our suspect.
30:05He returned something and they were not able to give him cash.
30:09They gave him a Walmart gift card.
30:11Follow him outside.
30:17Patrick walks back to the car.
30:22Caitlyn follows minutes later.
30:25This footage shows that Caitlyn is with this individual after the homicide just like she was prior to the homicide.
30:39The investigators check in with Rodney's girlfriend, Nadia Cole, to see if she recognizes the woman from the surveillance footage.
30:55I presented her with some photographs that we had taken from the surveillance video at the McDonald's and the drive
31:02through.
31:02And without hesitating, she said, yes, that is Caitlyn.
31:07That's the Caitlyn I know that Rodney was in contact with.
31:11Police also show Nadia the images of the gun.
31:14When the detectives showed me a picture of it, I recognized it and it looked similar to the one she
31:23had handed me.
31:26This has been extremely helpful.
31:28The detectives are closing in on the suspects, but Nadia is feeling the toll.
31:35I didn't have anybody to talk to, so I was left on my own.
31:40I was mad.
31:42I was hurt.
31:43I was scared.
31:47It was the biggest nightmare I've ever had in my life.
31:56Investigators know that Caitlyn is Caitlyn Riffle.
31:59They now need to identify Patrick.
32:03One of the items that we found on Rodney's phone was the photo of the .380 handgun.
32:09We were able to trace the serial number on the gun.
32:12We were able to determine that it was legally purchased at a store in Lee Summit, Missouri, by Stephanie Powell.
32:20Can you look her up?
32:33Look at this.
32:35He has a son by the name of Patrick Powell.
32:41Can you pull up his license?
32:50Photo's old.
32:51When we run his Missouri Department of Revenue driver's license photo, he has short hair.
32:58In the surveillance video, the suspect had long hair.
33:02So our first thought is, has he changed what he looks like or is this a completely different person?
33:12Investigators search for a link between Caitlyn and Patrick Powell.
33:17There is an application on a computer that shows when anyone pawns something.
33:23Got a hit on Caitlyn's phone.
33:25Showed that she had sold a phone at a kiosk at another Walmart in Independence that takes a picture of
33:32your ID and it showed the date, the time that the transaction was made.
33:39There was surveillance video of her selling the phone with a person that did resemble very much the photo that
33:46Patrick had for his driver's license.
33:48He had cut his hair and shaved his face.
33:52We were able to retrieve that phone.
33:54It was the phone that she had been using to communicate with Rodney at the night of the burn.
34:02We've gotten to a point where we've collected all the information.
34:05It's time to talk to him in regard to their role in the homicide of Rodney Thurber.
34:13I authored a court order for Patrick Powell's cellular device and her tactical support squad found a residence where they
34:21thought the phone was at.
34:22It was tracked to Buckner, Missouri, which is about 30 miles east of Kansas City.
34:31They advised us, we have Patrick and Caitlyn.
34:35They're in a vehicle and we are about to try to stop the vehicle and take it into custody.
34:41The adrenaline is going, this is all going to come to a head.
34:44It was very exciting for us.
34:52As the officers are following his car, it ends up parking at a quick trip.
34:58Two individuals get out of that car.
35:00A white female looking like Caitlyn and a white male looking like Patrick.
35:04As they walk towards the door at the quick trip, officers move in, take them into custody.
35:19Police inform Nadia of the arrests.
35:22I was relieved.
35:25Everybody thought I'd shot him.
35:28Every relationship has problems, but I would never hurt him.
35:35Investigators take Patrick Powell and Caitlyn Riffle to the police department for questioning.
35:47You've been read your rights.
35:52So, uh, why don't you walk us through what happened?
35:59I got nothing to say.
36:00He almost had a smirk on his face.
36:02He knew he wasn't going to talk to me.
36:05Patrick refuses to cooperate, so detectives press Caitlyn for answers.
36:10I don't know anything about anyone being killed.
36:14Caitlyn gives a statement to police and initially denies any involvement or any knowledge of what occurred.
36:21Can I show you a couple pictures?
36:24Um, yeah.
36:25Okay.
36:26They confront her with screenshots that show her at the McDonald's.
36:29Show her text messages that occurred.
36:32And her story evolves.
36:34Okay, he asked me where I left the gun and I...
36:38Who asked you where?
36:40Patrick asked me where I left the gun and said he was going to go ask for it himself.
36:44We finally got her to the event that they went and got the gun.
36:47So when he comes running back to your car to get in, what did he say happened?
36:53Nothing.
36:55She was confronted with the fact that we had an eyewitness that says she was in the apartment moments before
37:01the murder.
37:02You see Caitlyn today?
37:04Yeah, she came to pick up the gun.
37:08She said after she gave the gun to you that it was a very short amount of time before there
37:14was a knock at the door.
37:15I think I just...
37:16We need a lawyer for giving the question.
37:19Caitlyn asked for a lawyer and we end the interrogation.
37:27Patrick and Caitlyn are charged with first degree murder.
37:31Both plead not guilty.
37:33At the trials, prosecutors stepped through the events that led to Rodney Thurber's murder.
37:40The day of the homicide, Caitlyn and Rodney had been texting.
37:44They had been texting about this gun.
37:47They were texting about her coming over and getting this gun.
37:50And we know the surveillance shows her car pulling that driveway.
37:54We know Nadia Cole says Caitlyn came in that house, got that gun.
37:59We know that that silver car with Caitlyn in the driver's seat and a male in the passenger seat went
38:05through that McDonald's drive-through.
38:07Patrick walks to Rodney's home minutes later.
38:10Patrick went over there on foot, by himself, armed with that handgun.
38:16He knew he was going to shoot Rodney.
38:20The gun that we know Caitlyn gave back to Patrick was a .380 handgun.
38:25The same caliber that matches the shell casings that were found at the scene.
38:33We know that individual ran away and ultimately got into that silver car that Caitlyn was waiting for him to
38:41drive him away.
38:43Just two hours after the homicide, we catch them on the Walmart surveillance.
38:48In that same silver BMW, Patrick wearing the same clothes with the fur on the coat, the pink shirt, and
38:56the green pants inside that Walmart.
38:59The shoe print found at the crime scene matched neither suspect, but the pictures of the gun and the car
39:05that Caitlyn sent to Rodney incriminated both her and Patrick.
39:09Stephanie Powell, the gun's legal owner, had no involvement in or knowledge of any criminal activity.
39:19When we tried to establish a motive in this case, we weren't exactly sure why.
39:24Maybe Patrick's jealous of Rodney because of the relationship that he and Caitlyn had previously.
39:32I think he was trying to keep them two apart.
39:38He was jealous over the relationship that Rodney and Caitlyn had.
39:43It's clear from all the evidence that Nadia Cole was just an innocent bystander.
39:48She was a crucial witness for us in this case.
39:53Patrick Powell was sentenced to life without the possibility of parole for murder in the first degree and ten years
39:59for armed criminal action.
40:10This murder wouldn't have occurred but for her actions.
40:14She was the getaway driver.
40:16She's the one that provided the murder weapon.
40:18But ultimately, she's not the one that pulled the trigger.
40:22Without the surveillance in this case, we would have been left with just names.
40:27We would not have been able to put our suspects together in the moments after the homicide.
40:34I never said goodbye to Rodney, and I'm not going to.
40:37But I still talk to him.
40:40He's still a part of me. He's still a part of my life.
40:49I'll miss Rodney's smile.
40:54And the way he made people feel.
40:59He was a great man.
41:03That loved helping others.
41:10Next time on CNOEVIL.
41:12My sister has been missing for almost five days now.
41:17There was more to this than just a missing person's case.
41:20We're certain that some type of foul play has been involved.
41:24We knew that they were lying because of the CCTV.
