36:02In this Battle of the Block competition, James nominees will battle Jason's nominees to save
36:07themselves from the chopping block. The winning pair not only earns safety for the week, but will
36:12also dethrone the HOH that nominated them, sending them back into the pool of regular house guests.
36:18James, Jason, that means one of you could go from being HOH to evicted this week.
36:26Nominees, here's how it works. Teams will add to the skyline by building a new skyscraper.
36:32When the horn sounds, uncover the blueprint showing you how to construct your tower. Each person may
36:37transport one block at a time from the supply platform across the beams to the build platform.
36:44But be careful! If you drop a piece or fall off the beam, you must go back to your last
36:49platform before
36:50continuing on. The first team to correctly build their tower and get both players back to the supply
36:55platform, then hit their button, wins. Who's ready to play Dude Bob?
37:06James is telling me I'm a pawn, but I know how often pawns go home and I need to win
37:10this Battle of the
37:11Block to ensure my safety. I think a lot of people can think that dentists aren't that physical,
37:17like we don't really get around to work out or anything, but this dentist is ready to kick some teeth
37:22in.
37:32So the object of the Battle of the Block is to transfer 26 building blocks across a high beam
37:38that's rotating. Oh my god, that is so hard. Has wrecking balls coming through and once we get to the
37:44end with our blocks, we have to construct a building. So my strategy is to figure out a way
37:52that John and I can both be on this beam at the same time without knocking one another off,
37:57but very quickly getting our blocks to the other side.
38:01Steve and my strategy is to both go at the same time, put our pieces, and then we can both
38:07come back
38:07and do it again. As a dancer, I have really great balance, so I know I'm going to do really
38:14well in
38:14this challenge. Yeah, you got it, you got it, you got it. In this competition, if you fall off the
38:23beam,
38:24you have to return to the beginning. John and I do not have the time to make these mistakes. It
38:29could put us
38:29behind. Oh, these people are falling off left and right. And I would hate to see the workers comp built.
38:42It's going to be astronomical. You got it, you got it. See that wrecking ball there and I'm hoping that
38:48someone gets hit in the mouth because it could be more business for me down the road. I just don't
38:54want it to be me. I feel like I'm in a video game. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Mario.
39:08Get ready. Hang on, Steve. Hang on. He's having a really hard time on this balance beam,
39:19and unfortunately, you're only as strong as your weakest link. I keep falling and I can't find my
39:27balance. My strategy to fix that is to lower my center of mass and start crawling instead of walking,
39:32so it makes it harder for me to fall off the beam. Strategy. Steve's strategy looks like it's working.
39:41I could be up the creek without a paddle right now. Good job, Steve. Watching Steve crawl across this beam,
39:49with his block in front of him is like a little mouse chasing his cheese across to the finish line.
40:02We're going for a three now. We came to a part where there were three cubes
40:06played on one level straight across the tower. It's pretty tough to balance these three cubes and get
40:11the rectangle on top of it because that rectangular block is a pretty big, awkward piece.
40:18So as I'm running across these beams, of course, I'm keeping an eye on the other team's tower,
40:22and it looks like we're neck and neck. I really want to win this battle of the block because it's
40:26the only way to guarantee my safety. Oh.
40:29It's okay. It's okay. All right. Take your time. No more falling. We can push this off to win.
40:34It is so close right now, and I just want to get this done. I want to win this. I
40:39want to get me
40:40and Steve off the block this week. Steve, you're being a beast right now.
40:48I'm definitely rooting for Jackie, but I can't show this excitement because I don't want to
40:55increase the target that I already have on my back about Jackie and I potentially being partners.
