00:00Here's Brett Venables. Of course, he's now entering his fourth season on the job in Oklahoma in Norman, and now they're in the SEC.
00:07And fire him for Saban.
00:10He's another guy. And fire him for Saban.
00:12He's had several issues in his first few years in Norman.
00:16One of the glaring ones, especially to the fan base, Scotty, is that he continues to get racked, continuously gets racked by Texas in their annual rivalry game.
00:27Of course, that's something that he's going to have to fix.
00:30Well, I would say two of the three years we were, you know, at some key positions.
00:35We're in a really tough spot.
00:37But I think two years ago, it was reflective of the type of game that it should be and will be moving forward.
00:46But, yeah, we've got to play better. We've got to coach better. We've got to play better.
00:50And that's a wonderful venue, as good as there is in all of college football.
00:54I've said it a lot. It's better than any national championship environment that I've been in.
00:58And I believe part of that is because of all the corporate that's at a national championship game.
01:02You're looking at 30-plus percent, maybe corporate, that aren't really invested.
01:07And there's not a heartbeat in that stadium, in the Cotton Bowl, that's not heavily invested with a little bit of hate in their heart.
01:14So, we'll get back on track. Look forward to that opportunity in October when it gets here.
01:20Yeah, I just don't buy his act anymore. I think he's doomed in Norman. I really do. This is his last year there.
01:27I wouldn't be surprised. And he's got a pretty tough draw, too. He's six-and-a-half is the win total for Oklahoma.
01:36Can you imagine?
01:37Plus 490 to make the playoff. I mean, you're right. I know what you're about to say.
01:41Can you imagine that, how far Oklahoma's fallen?
01:44Yeah.
01:45And that their win total's now six-and-a-half when they used to dominate that Big 12 every single year
01:51and win the conference just about every year.
01:53I mean, Vanderbilt's better than them.
01:58You can make that case. You can make that case. And they've got a tough schedule.
02:02They play an out-of-conference game. They have Michigan coming to Norman on September the 6th.
02:07They play Auburn this year. They play Texas, obviously. They play South Carolina, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Alabama, LSU.
02:14They have got, I don't see seven wins in his card. That's another under for me.
02:20Under six-and-a-half. Under Florida?
02:22That'll be the end of it.
02:24Probably will. More big dreams.
02:27Hugh Freeze in Auburn. He's been working a few years now to finally turn it around.
02:32Hasn't quite got there for him yet. Don't worry, though. This is the year.
02:36We're embracing the highest of expectations.
02:39It's time for us to start climbing that mountain and winning some of those games.
02:46There's no reason with the chemistry among our staff, the additions we've added to the roster, the two top ten recruiting classes.
02:57You know, would you love to have one more year?
03:00Sure.
03:00But there is zero reason that our team, Lord willing, we stay healthy.
03:06We're expected to compete in every single football game.
03:09And we had some difficult breaks last year go against us.
03:14And so, it's our turn this year for them to bounce our way.
03:17Yeah.
03:19Like, I just don't understand how he's the coach at Auburn.
03:25I really don't.
03:26I got to tell you.
03:28Like, that's just not working for me either.
03:30They don't.
03:31And they literally haven't mattered in years.
03:34I mean, the last time they mattered, right, was Cam Newton.
03:38Yep.
03:38That's it.
03:39So, they haven't been able to figure it out since.
03:43And I'm not sure that it's going to be figured out with him running things, to be honest with you.
03:49I mean, he looks like he doesn't even know why he's there.
03:53Like, at that press conference, he's just, like, talking about bad luck and stuff.
03:56Like, what?
03:57Like, who does that?
03:59And there's his seven and a half, too.
04:01Me and Joe were actually going through this schedule with, like, a fine-toothed comb last night on the radio show.
04:06There's no way they're winning eight games.
04:08No shot Auburn's winning eight games this year.
04:11They have got, again, another brutal SEC schedule.
04:15They got the Jackson Arnold kid from who was at Oklahoma last year.
04:18He's their quarterback now.
04:19I don't care who their quarterback is, honestly.
04:22Yeah, good luck.
04:23I don't care who their quarterback is, I don't care who their quarterback is, I don't care who their quarterback is, I don't care who their quarterback is, I don't care who their quarterback is, I don't care who their quarterback is, I don't care who their quarterback is, I don't care who their quarterback is, I don't care who their quarterback is, I don't care who their quarterback is, I don't care who their quarterback is, I don't care who their quarterback is, I don't care who their quarterback is, I don't care who their quarterback is, I don't care who their quarterback is, I don't care who their quarterback is, I don't care who their quarterback is, I don't care who their quarterback is, I don't care who their quarterback is, I don't care who their quarterback is, I don't care who their quarterback is, I don't care who their quarterback is, I don't care who their quarterback is, I don't care who their quarterback is, I don't care who
