00:00Wouldn't you like to have a centerpiece like this on your Thanksgiving table?
00:03Collect a bunch of gourds. Pick gourds that have at least one flat side.
00:07I don't know the name of this gourd, but it's awfully pretty.
00:10And I love using these cordless drills fitted with a paddle bit like this,
00:15which will make a hole appropriate for a candle like that.
00:19Now you just center this and drill and make a hole,
00:23oh, about a half an inch deep, three quarters of an inch deep.
00:27There, and now you are ready to insert your candle.
00:31And you see a very simple and effective way to make candlesticks.
