04:38A girl who cries milk.
04:39Oh, very good.
04:41I'll go Noel Gallagher's mad chat in my flat.
04:46Fun fact, 81.
04:4895.
04:4990?
04:51Welcome to the show.
04:52What's your name?
04:53My name's Lindsay Houston.
04:54And where are you from, Lindsay Houston?
04:55I'm from Gosport.
04:56And you are how old?
04:58I am 15.
04:5915 years old.
05:00So it's Lindsay from Gosport.
05:00She's 15 years old, Gosport near Portsmouth.
05:02Yep, that's right.
05:05And you brought your friends with you on a minibus of some sort.
05:08Oh, lovely.
05:09So tell us, when did you first start crying milk?
05:11What happened?
05:12About two years ago, around my friend Sarah's house.
05:15And we were just playing around with milk.
05:18Playing around with milk?
05:20Yeah.
05:21Cool.
05:21And I took it up my nose, she made me laugh, and it came out of my eyes.
05:26And now you can do it whenever you want to?
05:27I can.
05:28OK, now I've seen this once, and I saw it on Wednesday on videotape.
05:31We've rehearsed it three times, and I've not been able to watch it once.
05:33So if you have a screamish disposition here or at home, don't look, because it will make
05:38you chunder.
05:39All right?
05:39Are you ready?
05:40Oh, yeah.
05:41OK, Lindsay will now cry milk.
05:48Oh, my God.
05:52Oh, my God.
05:54Oh, my God.
05:58That's enough, that's enough.
05:59That's enough.
06:02Thank you, thank you.
06:05Oh, my God.
06:12Oh, my God.
06:12You're right.
06:13Oh, my gosh.
06:15The girl who cried milk, how great was she?
06:17Real name, Lindsay Houston.
06:18She lives now in Sydney and is very happily married to an Australia.
06:22Yay!
06:23All right, the decider.
06:24You ready for the decider?
06:25Yep.
06:25OK, my go.
06:26What about the wooden bird with purple hair?
06:28Oh, I think I've nailed this one.
06:32I've got the thing that everybody wants to see, which is you being thrown out of a window.
06:35Yay!
06:37Can't argue with that.
06:39Well, there's the thumbs up.
06:40Chris will be on.
06:47Yeah, yeah.
06:50All right, Will wins 2-1.
06:52Are you coming back in part two?
06:54I am.
06:54The Paul McCartney Park.
06:55He's back in the Paul McCartney Park with Pup Genius.
06:58Oh, my God.
07:00Does anyone know if we're all single?
07:03We all love, actually, our next guest.
07:06So much so that it feels like he's part of my family.
07:09He's returning once again as our favourite detective in Beyond Paradise,
07:12which continues on Fridays on the BBC,
07:15because we're all partial for a bit of Chris Marshall.
07:28Are you loving this as much as you're loving Aston Villa at the moment?
07:314-3 last weekend.
07:32I'm going to be involved.
07:33Yay!
07:34One more win in Champions League.
07:36The Champignons League is in the bag.
07:38Come on.
07:39Where did you watch the match last weekend?
07:41Last weekend, I watched the match in my house last weekend.
07:45Yeah, it was a seven-goal thriller, wasn't it?
07:47It was a seven-goal thriller.
07:49And you were down in the dumps.
07:52Didn't they write you a letter or something?
07:53Oh, when I had my accident?
07:54Yeah.
07:55Yeah, yeah, I'm actually recovering from an accident right now.
07:57I know.
07:57I saw you just take a sling off.
07:59It's like, is that a prop?
08:01No, it was a slight skiing mishap,
08:03which is probably the most middle-class thing I've ever said in my life.
08:06Yeah, there are other middle-class phrases that are available,
08:09but that's pretty much up there.
08:09I've got to be honest.
08:10Broken collarbone, two places.
08:12So what happened with you in the accident and the letter from Villa?
08:14So, yeah, so I had an accident in Bristol about 20, nearly 20 years ago.
08:19Right.
08:20Got hit by a car.
08:21Yeah, these things sort of happened to me.
08:23I don't know why.
08:25LAUGHTER
08:28And they sent me this wonderful card signed by all the players
08:31and the manager, and it was a superb thing.
08:34And I go up all the time and see them, and I just love Villa.
08:38Of course you do.
08:38It's such a lovely club.
08:40Yeah, they are a lovely club.
08:41They know you so, so well at the moment.
08:42So a skiing accident, a recent skiing accident,
08:45looks like a shoulder thing.
08:47Yeah, a broken shoulder.
08:48A broken shoulder?
08:49Yeah, I broke my collarbone, two places.
08:51OK, two places.
08:52Have you been skiing twice?
08:54LAUGHTER
08:57One in Mirabelle and one in...
08:58Yeah, yeah, yeah.
09:00OK.
09:01Beyond Paradise is back.
09:02It's doing great business yet again.
09:04Here we are in season four.
09:05Come on, Beyond Paradise.
09:06CHEERING
09:07I'll just clap with one hand, if that's all right.
09:10Yeah.
09:11What's the sound of one hand clapping?
09:12That is actually the sound of one hand clapping.
09:14That's the sound of one hand clapping.
09:15All right.
09:16And is it fair to say that in the most recent episode,
09:18just gone, you had the least bad baddie,
09:21or the least bad baddie?
09:23Would that be fair enough?
09:24Well, I'd say again, the least bad baddie.
09:25Yeah, because the mermaid.
09:28Oh, yeah, the least bad baddie.
09:29Yeah.
09:30Isn't that fair enough?
09:31That's like a...
09:32Yeah, that was the least bad baddie.
09:34I would say so, wouldn't you?
09:35Yeah, the mermaid.
09:36The mermaid.
09:36They're not bad baddies, are they?
09:38Yeah, well, I'm...
09:40Although they live in a lair.
09:41Yeah.
09:42Does anybody have a mermaid they don't like?
09:44I don't think so.
09:45I don't know.
09:45I don't know.
09:46I don't know.
09:47Mermaids, I mean, they get a good rap.
09:48Yeah, they do.
09:49They do.
09:50Beyond Paradise is all about its setting, its location,
09:53it's, you know, it's sort of the weird and wonderfulness
09:57that is the West Country.
09:58Yeah.
09:58And the coast and the wild savagery of the coast.
10:01So why wouldn't you have mermaids?
10:02We have mermaids, we have green men.
10:04Yeah.
10:04We have little green men.
10:06Yeah.
10:06We have writers who are topping themselves in the bath.
10:10That's not very West Country, but, you know,
10:13I mean, we cover all bases.
10:15You've landed loose today, haven't you?
10:17Yeah, yeah, yeah.
10:17Don't shake the arm, Chris, too much.
10:18Oh, my God.
10:19It's that arm.
10:20It is the arm, yeah.
10:21Oh, my God.
10:22I'm so sorry.
10:23I'm so sorry.
10:24Someone came up to me.
10:25Oh, my gosh.
10:26Someone came up to me in the pub yesterday,
10:27and they went, yesterday they came up to me in the pub,
10:29and they went, oh, amazing.
10:33So it could have been worse.
10:34It's all good.
10:35It could have been worse.
10:36It could have been worse.
10:37You got married recently.
10:38Congratulations.
10:39Yay!
10:40Oh, in the show.
10:41Yes.
10:43I did.
10:44Yes.
10:44You're on to talk about Beyond Paradise.
10:47I don't need to talk about Beyond Paradise,
10:48not my bad shoulder.
10:49Yeah, yeah.
10:49Or my wife of 15 years.
10:51Yeah, no, no.
10:52This is a different...
10:52My new wife, my screen wife.
10:55It's a different situation.
10:56Wonderful wedding.
10:58Obviously had the wonderful Don Warrington.
11:00Yeah.
11:01As my best man.
11:02And, yeah, superb.
11:04Do you watch old cop shows?
11:06Is it true that you are huge fans of old cop shows,
11:09and you try to sort of, you know...
11:12Yeah.
11:12So them into the tapestry that is Beyond Paradise.
11:16Yeah, yeah, yeah.
11:16So I was a huge fan of shows growing up,
11:18like The Rockford Files.
11:20Yeah.
11:20I know he's technically not a cop.
11:22He's a private investigator,
11:23but Jim Rockford, Columbo, Marple, Barnaby Jones.
11:27Do you know Barnaby Jones?
11:28No, I can't remember Barnaby Jones.
11:29Yeah.
11:30A bit before your time, maybe.
11:31Thank you.
11:33Looking good.
11:34A bit before my time as well.
11:37Oh, all right.
11:38So I like to sort of, like, encompass,
11:41pay homages to all those cops that I loved growing up,
11:46and movies I loved.
11:47You know, I put in little homages all over the place,
11:50like to Withnell and I,
11:52and movies The Great Escape and stuff like that.
11:54I just love sort of imbuing my performance with those,
11:57because every day you come in,
12:00you've got to try something new.
12:01You want to keep it fresh.
12:02You are fresh, man.
12:04Well, I'm trying to keep fresh.
12:05You seem to be sort of relaxing into the most scatty version of yourself
12:12I've ever experienced.
12:14And let's face it.
12:15Sketchy or scatty?
12:16Both, in a way.
12:17Do you know what I mean?
12:18You seem to be sort of really free.
12:21I'm sort of loving where I am at the moment.
12:23Good for you, mate.
12:25Have you been asked to go on Traitors?
12:28No.
12:28Come on, you must have been.
12:30Wow.
12:31Would you go on if you were asked?
12:32No.
12:33No?
12:34Have you been asked on any of those kind of shows?
12:36Yeah, yeah, yeah.
12:37Can you give us the top three?
12:38Yeah, strictly, strictly and strictly.
12:40Yeah.
12:40Yeah.
12:41Wow.
12:42Beyond Paradise is great, right?
12:43And I think it's all the greater for the fact that you are like you are, right?
12:48Because it's a square peg in a round hole, and that's fun, isn't it?
12:51That's punk in itself.
12:53And it's quite a mad little show.
12:55It is.
12:55And I love it, yeah.
12:57Do you think it could get a lot?
12:58I mean, we're in season four now.
12:59Yeah.
13:00Why don't, when five, six, seven, you know, that's probably where it's going to be
13:05and where it's going to go, and you'll all be happy at the end of maybe six series.
13:09Do you think they could really stir it up in season five?
13:12Just get it.
13:13Well, season five, we're about to start shooting season five.
13:15All right, put it in the neutral bullet and have all the fun with it.
13:18Go on, I dare you.
13:19Yeah, okay.
13:19What do you think?
13:20Well, I mean, how long can a marriage last?
13:22No!
13:23I'm kidding, I'm kidding, I'm kidding, I'm kidding.
13:26I'm kidding, I'm kidding, I'm kidding.
13:28Do you, do you, do you, absolutely.
13:28You're so not kidding.
13:29You're so not kidding.
13:30I'm absolutely, I'm not going to give away spoilers.
13:32I don't know, they haven't written it yet.
13:34It sounds like you do know, it sounds like they have.
13:38Do you ever get, do you ever try and, sort of, try and wheedle things in,
13:41that you like doing?
13:42I mean, like, would he go to Aston Villa?
13:47I mean, I would love to get that in the show.
13:49You've got to try.
13:50It's a long way from Plymouth, though.
13:52Well, it wasn't that far from Bath.
13:53No, no, no.
13:56Maybe geography's not your thing, Chris.
13:58No, no, no, no, it's not, geography's not my thing.
14:02It's, I don't know, I'm always like, let's get us a surfing episode.
14:08Yeah.
14:08We haven't had one of those yet.
14:09Yeah.
14:10All right, but you're not, I mean, you've got to be careful.
14:12So you can't swim, you can't run, I would imagine, at the moment.
14:14You can't surf at the moment.
14:15Can't do anything at the moment.
14:16Can't do anything at the moment.
14:17Apart from, give great interview on this show.
14:21Let's hear it for Chris Marshall.
14:24Never disappointing.
14:25Beyond Paradise continues to be on the BBC.
14:27We're on season four.
14:28It's great, people love it.
14:30People watch it in their millions.
14:31Once again, Chris Marshall, Beyond Paradise.
14:35Surfer, swimmer, runner, just not at the moment.
14:39No, apparently.
14:40Just no skiing.
14:41No skiing.
14:44Still to come, Paul McCartney, but first some more TFI gold from NXS.
14:51All you got is a small pen.
14:5620% just yesterday.
14:58You can carry all you want.
15:05Hey!
15:08I need you tonight.
15:14Because I'm not sleeping.
15:18There's something about you now.
15:25In excess.
15:26In excess.
15:27In excess on TFI Friday.
15:28Loads of TFI gold on YouTube.
15:30Just like a TFI and you'll see it all.
15:31And by the way, the first nine episodes of this show, TFI Unplugged, are available on YouTube.
15:36World Pub Geniuses back!
15:39This all looks very sophisticated.
15:41This is your normal set-up in a pub.
15:43Yeah, of course it is.
15:44Most pubs have this ready to play with.
15:47All right, what are you claiming to be able to do here?
15:48Well, I'm claiming I will be able to put these four eggs into those pints without touching anything with my
15:55hands.
15:55Can't be done.
15:56No!
16:01Oh, come on.
16:04Non-believers.
16:05Can be done.
16:06Drum roll, please.

21:34Bu ne?
21:35Bu ne.
21:37There is no answer, he knows there is no answer to that.
21:40I love you all.
21:42Ringo is playing drums on the album, isn't he?
21:44He is and he is gorgeous too.
21:45Beautiful light.
21:46I do love him very very much, but no favourites amongst my children.
21:51Ok...
21:52George is a bit weird, isn't he?
21:53No, he is very good our George, he is lovely.
21:58He is out there though isn't he?
21:59He is, no not really.
22:01He is?
22:01No, he is, he has done a great album with Ravi Shankar.
22:05Has he?
22:05Altyazı.
22:06Ya da.
22:07Gorgeous.
22:08Evet.
22:09Penultimide track cracker.
22:10All right.
22:12Melinda Messenger.
22:14Yeah.
22:14All right.
22:15To Alex, she says, which is strange, but she doesn't.
22:18Has requested a question for Paul McCarney.
22:20If you could be in one of the bands that are around now, which band would it be?
22:25Whoa, well um, it would have been Nirvana, but no longer.
22:31Right.
22:32And now who would it be?
22:35Joe Loss.
22:37Diplomatik.
22:38You've got to go for it, Joe Loss.
22:40Alright, okay.
22:41Joe Loss.
22:42A couple more.
22:43Ian Brody.
22:44Ian Brody of the Lightning Seeds everyone.
22:46Sir Paul, he says here.
22:47Yes.
22:48Which footy team, red or blue?
22:50He doesn't know apparently.
22:51Blue!
22:53Long story, long story.
22:55Because I claim both of them.
22:56Which isn't really allowed, I know.
22:58But my dad was born in Everton.
23:00Right.
23:01Right.
23:02So I'm officially Everton.
23:03But they don't do very well.
23:05Liverpool do.
23:06And I love Liverpool too.
23:07So I'm having both.
23:08You're having both.
23:09I don't care.
23:10Right Liverpool.
23:10Now this is another cracker.
23:12Frank Carson, right?
23:13In Frank's handwriting, 26th of June, 97.
23:15Dear Paul, what was the ticket to ride for a bus, train or plane?
23:19And, ticket to ride.
23:21And why would you be sad if the girl that's driving you mad was going away?
23:25If she was driving you mad you wouldn't, you'd be happy.
23:28It's very good actually.
23:30That's a great question.
23:31That's a very good question.
23:32It's a cracker.
23:32Yeah, that is, yeah.
23:33It was a bus.
23:35Right.
23:35Actually, we were on.
23:36Yep.
23:36And the girl that was driving us mad at the time, we were getting away from her.
23:41We were very happy to get away from her.
23:42And I don't actually have an answer to that.
23:45But it's a good question.
23:46It's a heck of a question, yes.
23:47Okay.
23:48He knocked on my door once we were doing some show.
23:50He says, I just called to say I love you.
23:55Thank you, Paul.
23:57Our next guest, Superstar Time, is an amazing actor who's currently topping all the TV charts
24:02across the world with the number one show.
24:07The number one show in the world.
24:11Your Friends and Neighbours continues on Fridays on Apple TV.
24:14So let's have all the fun with Olivia Mars.
24:22Thanks, Olivia.
24:23For some fun to teach you.
24:29Love it all.
24:31Olivia Mars.
24:33The number one show in the world right now.
24:37How does it feel?
24:38It's really great.
24:40It's so, you know, whenever you do something, you put it out there, and a lot of times people
25:03Ama yine variants yani bu, porque Yürüt is here,
25:04Biasa daha ben çok severim.
25:05Heyef biri çünkü biz herhesede anlayamıştın,
25:07ve bize takip blurry gibi, burdan görüşürüz gibi...
25:10... ve bizimle böylece,
25:11So for people who don't know, Olivia is married to Tilly's favourite comedian in the world,
25:18literally in the world, John Mulaney, and he played the Palladium on Saturday?
25:22Yeah, two nights in a row.
25:23Two nights in a row.
25:23Gosh, and I'll tell you, I was there the last night, and the British audience is incredible.
25:32Everyone is so energised, and it's just an incredible...
25:36In fact, I was sitting up in one of those seats, you know...
25:39Boxes.
25:39Boxes.
25:43And there's a guy sitting next to me, and he was just, like, slapping his knee and just laughing.
25:47And I got, like, a tickle in my throat at one point, and I start coughing.
25:52And I start coughing, and I can't really stop, and he just looks over, and he goes,
25:56I'm outside.
25:58He's like, I'm so sorry.
25:59What, respect for the act?
26:00Yeah, yeah, yeah.
26:01He was like, respect for his laughing.
26:02He wanted to just, like, get me out of the way.
26:04And you were sort of caught between Rock and the Hard Place, because he was saying the right thing,
26:08but it's like, it's my husband. Don't worry, I'm respecting him.
26:10I respect him all the time. I love my husband.
26:12And I haven't seen his set yet. I haven't seen any of this tour yet.
26:16So I wanted to be able to see every joke, and I had to run out and, like, gag and
26:22then come back.
26:23And he's, well, he was doing the same on stage, but in a different way.
26:26Yeah.
26:27But is he still funny, then, officially, your husband?
26:29He's still funny.
26:30He's still funny!
26:32John gets loads of mentions in interviews like this with you.
26:35And I love it.
26:36Of course, because, and also, you know, he's very well-known in his own right, and you're very happily married,
26:40and it's all fun.
26:41But actually, the person that gets the most mentions, almost more mentions than whatever you're on to talk about,
26:46like your friends and neighbours, is Malcolm, young Malcolm.
26:48Yeah.
26:49He seems to be a 40-year-old man in a four-year-old's body.
26:54You know, so he's got this vernacular that makes me feel so insecure.
27:00Like, he goes, like, the other day, he said, he has this, the way that he phrases it is like
27:07this.
27:07I'll come in, and I'll have made him something, like, that I'm trying to make from scratch.
27:12And he goes, did you think I would want this?
27:16And I'm like, no, I mean, I just, I mean, I don't know.
27:21And he's like, and then he'll come in when we're, I'm like, sit down watching TV with him,
27:24and he'll look at me and go, did you, did you think I wanted you to sit with me?
27:28And I'm like, no, I just, I didn't even see you were there.
27:31I mean, I just, like, oh, you're here.
27:33Okay, great, great.
27:33Oh, Malcolm, how you doing?
27:34Yeah, it's always like, did you think that I would like that?
27:38Wonderful to have you here.
27:39Your friends and neighbours.
27:40Let's just talk about these houses.
27:42They're mad.
27:42These houses are crazy, aren't they?
27:44There was this one home where we shot this year, and it's massive.
27:51And they've been trying to sell it, but the economy is different, even for really wealthy
27:56people, and everyone's just a bit different in how they're buying stuff.
27:59But he, it was, it was like a bowling alley, and the basketball court, and a movie theatre.
28:05It's so massive, and they've been trying to sell it.
28:06And this owner was there on set and started screaming at everybody.
28:12He started, I was like, wait, what has happened?
28:14I came down, he was screaming, and he's a really big guy.
28:17And I went right up to him, and I was like, hey, what are you doing?
28:21Stop yelling at our crew.
28:22I don't understand what's happening.
28:23And he was like, well, people are on my floors, and they're supposed to stay on the carpets.
28:28And I was like, why did you rent out your home to us?
28:31Like, you're insane.
28:32He was like, well, it's also so loud, and my office is upstairs.
28:35And I go, if you can own this house, and you don't have an office somewhere else, that
28:40seems strange.
28:42And then later, sometimes those big guys are just so meek, and I think that he was
28:47not ready for someone to call him out on it.
28:50It was so crazy.
28:51He was yelling at our background actors, and I thought, this is so crazy.
28:55And then he got really sheepish, and his wife came over, and she's like, he wants to
28:59apologize.
28:59He's like, I'm sorry.
29:03And you know what he was wearing?
29:04This is not a joke.
29:05He was wearing keep calm and carry on.
29:09And I was like, hmm.
29:11Dice.
29:12Yeah.
29:13But also in those neighborhoods, we've had to, if you look at this season, we've had
29:17to find new homes and have new reasons.
29:19Like, someone sold their home.
29:20Let's move on.
29:21Because these really wealthy neighborhoods, one person is like, they love our show, or
29:25they want to do it.
29:26So they're like, yeah, we're going to rent out our home.
29:28And then all the neighbors are really mad.
29:30Because these really wealthy people are like, we don't care that you guys are on TV.
29:34Like, don't be in our neighborhood.
29:36But somebody does let us, and it creates a lot of problems for us.
29:40There's a show behind the show, isn't there, in a way?
29:42They're very mad.
29:43Does anybody do any of that kind of film in a round?
29:46Yeah, you'd think that we would have thought of that.
29:49Season three, bring it on!
29:52Would you be around or not?
29:54Yes, I'm there.
29:55She's there!
29:56All right.
29:57And is it all the fun?
29:58Is it a fun gang?
30:00It is a really fun gang.
30:01It looks like you're having, it sort of comes across like you might be having all the fun.
30:04Yeah, it's really great.
30:05And, you know, last year we had James Marsden come on, and this year we have Michelle Monaghan.
30:09So I'm really excited about, because I'm such a fan of hers as well.
30:15And the season two does end on a cliffhanger.
30:18I can say that.
30:19I can say that because I heard Jon Hamm say that on a panel the other day.
30:22And I was like, are we allowed to say that?
30:24If the Hamm can say it, you can say it.
30:26Well, thanks for coming to see us.
30:28Is it done now?
30:28Yeah, it's okay.
30:31We don't have to be done.
30:32We don't have to be done.
30:34I mean, you stole food in your career earlier on.
30:37You can steal anything from here if you like.
30:38It doesn't matter.
30:39Take home.
30:39For real?
30:40Yeah.
30:41What would Jon like?
30:42The camera.
30:43You always steal the camera when you turn to all of that.
30:46Yeah.
30:47Let's leave it there.
30:48Olivia Merlin's been with us.
30:49Your Friends and Neighbors continues to the number one show in the world on Apple TV.
30:53It's on all the time.
30:54Watch it.
30:55You won't regret it.
30:55Once again, Olivia Merlin.
30:59Still to come, hard five but first.
31:01Some TFI Gold from Fritz.
31:02And buy some more.
31:04Hey.
31:05If you want to be my baby, got to tell me so.
31:09Overcommoning lady.
31:11Better act like you know.
31:12If you want to be my baby, come on, take my hand.
31:18Become the money.
31:20About gold by the ounce.
31:22Y2K, not today.
31:24I'd rather check in the bank, bounce.
31:26Superball used to be my nickname.
31:29That's about love.
31:30No money back, can't you, when I'm above.
31:33So can't.
31:36Yeah!
31:39All right, welcome.
31:40My name is Prince and Pretty Man.
31:41And now from one legend to another, here's Peter O'Toole.
31:53I'll tell you what I want, what I really, really want.
32:02I wanna, I wanna, I wanna, I wanna, I wanna, I wanna, I wanna really, really, really wanna
32:11zig-a-zig-a-hot.
32:15Do you?
32:16Yeah.
32:25Does anyone know what F stands for in TFI?
32:30Oh my God, that's naughty.
32:33Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome our first guest of the year 2000, and what a great start
32:37of the year is Mariah Carey.
32:39CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

33:42Evet.

33:44Ok ...
34:00Bütün black haired, evil, bad, evil twin that I have.
34:03Do you want me to play it for you?
34:05Oh, sure.
34:05That way we can explain what we're talking about.
34:07Yeah, okay.
34:07Well, watch this.
34:08We've got this for you.
34:09Right now.
34:09Okay.
34:26So now we know about that.
34:28Okay.
34:28So, so, thank you very much.
34:31I did all my own stunts and I was very bruised the next day, but that's besides the point.
34:34Okay, now that we know about that, what I'm taping tonight is footage for my tour, which
34:40includes that girl, the evil Mariah, who is called Bianca.
34:43She's from Britain, actually.
34:45And she doesn't like me at all.
34:47She hates me.
34:48But if she's played by you, though.
34:49Well, I mean, that's a minor detail.
34:51But she is hosting my tour.
34:54So I don't know what's going to happen because she's very temperamental.
34:57You know, she has a lot of, um, issues.
35:00Does she want to come on the last with us?
35:01I think you might like Bianca.
35:03Okay.
35:03Better than you?
35:04You might.
35:05Okay.
35:05Well, I can have Bianca.
35:06Whereas this can have you.
35:07Okay.
35:08What?
35:09But there'll only be three of us.
35:14So you're going to film all night, then?
35:16Uh, probably.
35:17Okay, so you can't come out.
35:18Well, we might.
35:19Maybe we can stop by.
35:20Where are you going to be?
35:20Well, um.
35:21You can't say that, can you?
35:22We're just around.
35:22You'll get swarmed, won't you?
35:24No, we never get swarmed.
35:25People don't like us very much.
35:27So, um, so, so, you're here for how long in Britain?
35:30Oh, probably another few hours before I get on the plane and go somewhere else.
35:33I don't even know where I'm going.
35:34But I thought you were still.
35:36Are you not staying here for a while for your tour?
35:37Um, no, I'm coming back for the tour.
35:39First I have to go, oh, all over.
35:41Yeah.
35:41L.A.
35:42What, promoting or touring?
35:44Um, getting ready for the tour, but prior to that.
35:46Getting ready for the tour?
35:46Mm-hmm.
35:47Working out?
35:47No, rehearsing.
35:48I don't even know what I'm doing yet.
35:49Okay.
35:50You don't always.
35:50That's another minor detail.
35:51When is the tour?
35:52It's February the 14th.
35:53Yeah.
35:54And you've not figured it out?
35:55I like to wing things.
35:56We like to wing things, don't we, Wes?
35:58Oh, yes, madam.
36:00So when you come back here for the tour, how many nights will you be here for?
36:03Uno.
36:04Just one?
36:04Yeah.
36:05Oh, crap.
36:05Yeah, it's kind of called one night only.
36:08Well, the reason is because I'm filming a movie in May.
36:11Yeah, because you're an actress now, aren't you?
36:12Well, darling, I think I always have been, haven't I?
36:15Oh, we all always have been.
36:19So when you come back for that one night, have you got anywhere nice to stay?
36:24Um, like someone's house?
36:26Yeah.
36:27It's always better to stay at a friend's house than at a hotel.
36:29It is more comfortable.
36:30It is more comfortable at a home, but I don't have anyone who's offered me their home.
36:35Well, never mind, I'll stay in a hotel then.
36:38Okay.
36:40What are you going to do?
36:40You seem to me, like nowadays, when you started off, you didn't take yourself very seriously,
36:45but I'm not saying that, but you did, you were different, and now you seem like you're
36:47just having good fun.
36:49Would that be right?
36:49That would be an accurate observation.
36:52Yeah?
36:52In fact.
36:52So where was the fun hiding then?
36:54Oh, it was hiding inside me, but I was not allowed to let it out, you see.
36:58By whom?
36:58Oh, certain people.
37:00Any, in one particular person?
37:02Oh, well, I shouldn't say that, because it would be politically incorrect.
37:05Your ex-husband?
37:06Oh, I wouldn't go that far.
37:09Oh, I still have a few more singles to put out.
37:12Okay.
37:13Because he was the boss of the company, wasn't he?
37:14Well, he still is.
37:15Is he?
37:15Is he?
37:16Oh, God, I'm sorry.
37:22Our next guest is your new favourite actor, and she really is.
37:25She's starring in the new drama, Mint, which is out now on BBC One, and also on the BBC
37:29iPlayer.
37:29So let's get prepared for the amazing Emmalyn!
37:40It's so great to see you.
37:43Congratulations, Emmie.
37:44You're so good!
37:45Oh, stop it.
37:46How good is Emmalyn?
37:48Oh, my gosh, you're in everybody's favourite things all the time.
37:51Stop being in all the best stuff.
37:53Give somebody else a chance, Emma.
37:55I know, I don't stop.
37:56All right, so Mint, I've seen all of them.
37:58You know, I've seen all of them.
37:59I know, it's crazy.
37:59My team have not even seen it all.
38:01Oh, my gosh.
38:03Frankie works at the show, and she says, I've seen three.
38:05Well, I've seen eight, Frank, all right?
38:06I've seen all that.
38:07It's eight, three to me, to the old guy.
38:08Also, this is crazy, because I used to listen to you every morning when I went to school.
38:12You poor thing.
38:12So I'm like, it's so overstimulating.
38:15I just keep looking at this desk with all these, like, signatures.
38:18But you keep getting rubbed off.
38:19We're going to get, we're going to sort this out.
38:22You'll sign this in a bit, Emma, if you don't mind.
38:23Oh, my God, I'd love to.
38:25So, I mean, for lots of people, you know, you, you, you, was it Variety magazine?
38:28You said you want, you're a Brit to watch in 2021 or 2022.
38:31Oh, I didn't say, well, I probably said that.
38:33No, no, Variety, I think Variety, or Hollywood Report, I mean, somebody said it, and they were
38:36right, and we're still watching you, you know, and as always, the best is yet to come
38:40from the best, no matter how good they've done it.
38:42The best is always yet to come with you.
38:44And I just suspect, and I don't know, because I don't know you, that you're, you're probably
38:47quite good at a lot of things, and you've just landed on acting.
38:50I do know, you know, I mean, I wanted to be a musician when I was a kid.
38:53I knew this, I knew this, and I purposely haven't checked.
38:57I just, I just knew.
38:58Like, through and through, I'm a, I was like an indie, oh, I'm an indie rock and roll girl.
39:03Like, I just, I grew up having jobs so that I could go and watch, like, Reverend and the
39:08Bakers in Sheffield, you know.
39:09Like, it was, that was my thing.
39:10Do you sing and play guitar?
39:11I do a little bit, I play guitar quite poorly, and I always, I'll always write.
39:16Maybe I'll do something with that, but I, you know, I was in bands when I was a teenager,
39:20and I played the lead mill in Sheffield, and then I, which was a massive moment for me.
39:25It sounds cool, doesn't it?
39:26And then I realised that, I just found my footing with acting, I think I tried, I think I was
39:31alright at a lot of things.
39:33Yeah, yeah.
39:33So, we haven't really said what the show's about.
39:35Oh, go on.
39:36No, you go, off you go.
39:37Oh, well, it's, I describe it as, like, a Glaswegian Romeo and Juliet, modern day.
39:44But also, like, it's a bit of a shocker when you watch it, because it's just what Charlie's done with
39:49the editing.
39:50It's super nostalgic and beautiful and weird, and there's really nothing, nothing quite like it.
39:55Some great cars, innit?
39:56Some great cars, or, oh, is there?
39:57Yeah.
39:58Oh, yeah, like the old Range Rovers and stuff.
40:00Yeah, well, the one you drive, the Mercedes, that's like, where's that?
40:03All I can think about is how difficult those cars are to drive, because it's not like...
40:08My wife would agree with you, which is why I'm not allowed to have one anymore, an old car.
40:12So, there's, how much do we give away, how much do we say, I suppose?
40:16I mean, that's what all the gang said, it's Romeo and Juliet, that's what it is.
40:19It is, yeah, it's like a love story.
40:20It reminds me of Twilight, of when, I don't know if you ever saw the Twilight films.
40:24I did, to be honest.
40:25As a teenage girl, I'm sure there's many girls listening that can relate.
40:29It's like, yeah, yeah, Twilight!
40:31Twilight! Twilight was so important to so many girls, and guys...
40:35But it's funny, because it's the girl boy divide.
40:37It's all girls in the control room, and all boys here.
40:40It's so good, and I just hope that Mint is what Twilight was for me, for some people, you know?
40:46And why is Mint called Mint, because that's the only thing I can figure out?
40:48I have no idea.
40:49Nor have I!
