00:05Hello, this is I'm 70 unpacked we are live and Adam has literally just been crowned by myself
00:12the I'm 70 legend. I know that was a really exciting moment wasn't it? Everyone is still on stage. No
00:17one's cleared yet. We're doing a TV show here mate.
00:22How are you? How do you feel? Adam is just one mate. Do you think it deserves a winner?
00:28Yeah, I do. I thought he was doing really well especially in that final eating trial. To eat a tarantula.
00:33That was horrific. The hairy legs of a tarantula sliding down your throat. He deserves to win just for that
00:41trial. That sounded really weird.
00:43That was very visceral. How did you find it watching him in that moment because I mean you've seen a
00:47gazillion eating trials
00:48but that one was quite theatrical. He was really struggling with it.
00:52Yeah, they always kind of go a little bit further than they've gone before. I mean the people who make
00:57the trials.
00:57And I didn't expect a tarantula to come out. So that was pretty gruesome. The eating trials are always pretty
01:03horrendous as Anne said.
01:04And when we do even the Australian show, you know the last episode, it always goes up a gear for
01:09that final because you've really got to earn it.
01:12But for the legend show, I felt like the eating trial kind of went up another level. That stinky, down
01:18in the stinky tofu as well.
01:19Oh, that was terrific. It had chunks in it. I've had some chunks before.
01:22They could have blended it up properly, boys. But to be fair, to all four of them, you know, to
01:25Craig, to Samoa, to Harry, and to Adam, you know, four quite gruesome trials on the final there.
01:32And you know, they all have done them. They all got their starters, main courses and treats and everything else.
01:36Well done then.
01:37Yeah, they did it. Well done, guys. Absolutely. And look, we've got plenty more to come from the finalists and
01:41all of the campmates. And we have...
01:45All of them? All of them? We've got a few of them, to be fair. And also, like, Adam, what
01:51a worthy win.
01:53Yeah, I mean, look, he had a really tough time in there. It was up and down. He said himself,
02:00he struggled in there, but he did brilliantly.
02:02You know, he faced all the trials and challenges. He kind of got on with it. I think he did
02:08brilliantly, and yeah, he deserved to win.

02:46You did so well, brother. Watching you guys have been absolutely brilliant. I've got to say, Moe, starting with you,
02:53mate.
02:53You were like the glue, I think, that held the entire camp together. You're cooking for one, mate.
02:58Lighting a fire. Before you even put the rice on. You were keeping everyone warm.
03:02Second time round. Harder than the first? I think it probably is.
03:06I'll probably say the first time I didn't quite get the experience, because it was during the Covid. It was
03:11in the castle. It was cold.
03:12And it felt like, you know, I got the full experience out in South Africa. I really enjoyed myself, honestly.
03:18I got to sit down with the gaffer often.
03:21The gaffer?
03:21People pay a lot of money to sit next to me. Some of the stories he tells you, Craig and
03:26everyone, and obviously full of drama.
03:29And we can't forget what we've gone through them three weeks. All of us, together.
03:35Well, the thing is, we know there's been a lot of drama. We've just seen it with our own eyes.
03:39Yes, we have.
03:39You've had three weeks of incredible moments. Like, there's been a few tears, fine, but there's been so much laughter,
03:46so much joy.
03:46Like, you guys seem to really, overall, bond so well as a camp. Did you ever think, when you saw
03:53who was in your camp,
03:54you were like, we're going to be mates by the end of this?
03:56I'll always remember... Harry, take that, Harry.
03:59I'll always remember it for tears of laughter rather than tears of pain. We laughed so much in that camp.
04:05We had such a giggle.
04:06I mean, I'm talking guffaws, belly laughs, you know, but my stomach was aching with the laughter that we had.
04:11It didn't really show much of that. It kind of got sidetracked, didn't it, into kind of, like, controversy.
04:16But I'll always take away the fact that we laughed so much, we bonded so well, and I'm going to
04:22take away friends from life from this experience.
04:24Well, Craig, you came fourth mate, how, so well done, by the way, as well, getting through the hole.
04:29Finally. Such a different experience from you, for you as well, this second time around.
04:32You must be proud of yourself, mate. I mean, that eating show, my God!
04:36The slice of that fish pie! You banged the train! Oh, my...
04:39Thirty, thirty shots of bull's blood. That's too many shots, mate.
04:43Bull's brain and all that. I mean, I don't even think I could do thirty shots of tequila, never mind.
04:48Thirty, thirty shots of bull's blood. No, I could do thirty shots of tequila, I'm lying.
04:53But, yeah, it was, it was, that was just, that was a tough way to come in, really.
04:58You, you all did your fair share of trials. Harry, you were incredible.
05:02Like, one of the oldest catmates to do your trial. How did you feel?
05:05Like, you've just attacked every single trial. Cyclone was amazing.
05:08You were kind of just ducking yourself for a while. How did you find doing that for the second time?
05:12Well, I'd just get on with it. I mean, it's, you know, I'm not going to make a fuss about
05:16anything, really.
05:17They're not going to give you anything that's going to kill you.
05:20You're not going to eat anything. That's reassuring.
05:22They're not going to take a chance and give you some food that's going to kill you.
05:25So, and when I ate the food, you know, I did the thing with Jimmy.
05:29Me and Jimmy had that, I mean, that was horrendous food.
05:31Yeah. But your mind tells you I'm having pie and mash or something, you know.
05:36You have to go to your happy place. You have to go to your happy place.
05:39Yeah, so you just get on with it. Yeah, you do.
05:41Right, I think we need to chat to you guys in a little bit.
05:43But first, the two lads that have held this entire show together,

06:01Well, I'm on Britain's Got Talent tomorrow. Can I not go home to bed?
06:04They finally sat down, the boys. We've talked about the winner. Let's talk about the final four.
06:11You normally make predictions. Yeah. Did you do that this time around?
06:15No, we didn't actually. You didn't. No, we didn't.
06:17If you had done, would you say Adam was sort of near the top for you or not?
06:20No, I had no idea, to be fair, because I thought that all four of them had done really well
06:24in their final trial.
06:26So, each trial was really tough. So, it was kind of wide open for me. I had no idea.
06:31It was really interesting as well, when we did all of the interviews with everybody that left, and we said
06:36to them, like,
06:36who would you like to be seen crowned the legend, so many of them went for Mo.
06:41Yeah.
06:41And I was like, Mo might just do this. Yeah.
06:43Yeah, more Harry, more Harry.
06:45But then, Harry did so brilliantly as well, and he was, you know, such a good energy in there.
06:49Craig was brilliant, absolutely, from the first time around in Australia, having to go home early, and then did the
06:55full experience this year.
06:56You know, you couldn't, you couldn't put anything between them.
06:59Yeah, Mo, what's it like hearing that, coming from the legends themselves? That would be so nice.
07:09You know, every, every day you wake up, next, what's going to be next?
07:13And you're always taking for the team, and winning stars, putting food on the table was important.
07:18But, it's amazing to hear, because we felt like, you know, it was a little bit of drama, but majority
07:24of it, it was incredible.
07:25And, you know, sitting at the table, having a chat, get to know each other.
07:30Didn't know what time we were sleeping, waking up, and, you know, challenging ourselves with the trials.
07:35It wasn't easy, it was epic. It was like, all my days, they'd notched it up, and for me, I
07:39enjoyed it.
07:40That's what everybody said as well, is how much that the level had gone up in South Africa.
07:45And we said to them, you know, you know, if you're going to become a legend, you've got to really
07:48go through it, you've got to really earn it.
07:50And the guys, to be fair, all of them, they stepped up to the plate, and they gave everything a
07:54go.
07:54Everything was bigger, everything was better. There was a little, a little more drama. Can I say that?
08:00A little more drama. A little more drama. Particularly on the final show, on the final part of it.
08:04Yeah, yeah, yeah. We're running a little bit light on Christmas.
08:08Look, I just want to say on that as well, you know, that shouldn't overshadow what I think has been
08:12an amazing series.
08:14Yeah. And I still love all of the campmates. I still think they each brought something different, at different times
08:19throughout the series.
08:20And I've thoroughly loved watching it, because we shot it, you know, back last year, and then I've come back
08:25and I've sat every day, watching the show.
08:27I'm a celebrity, it's on nine o'clock. I felt like, proper viewer. It's been brilliant. It's been great. It's
08:32been a great series.
08:33It's been fantastic. We want to tap into that this evening, I think, because I was the same. I've literally
08:38been glued to the TV every single night, and I've absolutely loved it.
08:42Can we use the word vintage? Yes, I said it's a vintage year, and that was before tonight.
08:46Yes. And I think that's the beauty of this particular show, of the South African legend show, is that every
08:54person who is in there has done incredibly well on their series in Australia.
08:59So when you get them, you know, there are no shrinking violets in there. You've got big, big characters in
09:04there.
09:05And, you know, things are going to go off. You know, they're all going to be fireworks at times, because
09:10by the very nature of the huge characters that are in there and in a very small space.
09:16So these things will happen, but I think, you know, like Craig said, Craig came down to the trial one
09:21day and he said,
09:22Honestly, my stomach and my ribs hurt from laughing so much. We are having such a good time.
09:27So I don't think we should let one or two moments of drama overshadow the whole series.
09:32About that, what was your favourite moment from the show?
09:35Oh, my favourite was always the wind-ups. So Harry coming in. Oh, the prank.
09:40The prison from hell and forcing Gemma to say, I'm a celebrity, get me out of here.
09:45And wanted to leave the show because of Harry's prank. And, of course, Craig Charles in the bath.
09:49Oh, yeah. It wasn't all in the bath, it was the washing-up ball that he used as a bath.
09:53Well, you know, why don't we have a little look, actually, at Harry's prank now?
09:56She was top-notch, she really was. I loved it.
09:59All campmates will do a trial called prison of hell.

13:37Obviously, comparing it to your last time in the jungle,
13:40what have you taken away from this time?
13:42I'm stronger than I ever thought I was.

13:46You know, obviously, the DC is bravado and drama.
13:51I did go in there as me.
13:53I was vulnerable.
13:55There was moments where, like, I couldn't put a show on.
13:59And I was just authentically me.
14:00And I think what I've learnt from it, it's okay to be vulnerable.
14:03It's okay to say you're scared.
14:04You know, you can show your real authentic self and not be ashamed of that.
14:08Like, just own who you are.
14:10And you strengthen that.
14:11Yeah, there's massive strength in it.
14:13And I've come out, yeah.
14:14Well, Gemma, you went in and you did redeem yourself.
14:17That's what you wanted to do.
14:18And I can tell you now, and I think we can all agree,
14:19you fully went in, you redeemed your journey.
14:21No longer were there the black car drivers who are literally like...
14:26No, I've got to say, I was in a supermarket earlier getting dog and cat food.
14:32And the amount of people coming up to me,
14:35normally the dog and cat food runs like 15 minutes.
14:38I was there an hour and 45.
14:41I mean, people saying, like, we didn't really like you before,
14:44but we've seen you and I'm a celeb, we love you,
14:46and lots of young people coming up to you, all ages.
14:49And I'm like, wow.
14:50It's a good feeling, Gemma.
14:52Yeah, it is an amazing feeling.
14:54You deserve it.

15:13For this experience, having the snakes in your helmet,
15:17you attacked every single trial and challenge.
15:20Are you proud of yourself?
15:22Very proud.
15:23I mean, 15 years ago, I couldn't even put my hand in the snake thing.
15:27But it was one of those things where I just thought, I have to do this.
15:31I've come all the way here.
15:32So the first trial, when it was high up, I was like, I can't do it.
15:36And it was like, if I don't do it, then why did I come?
15:39Yeah.
15:39And so I just kept doing it.
15:42And then I kept surviving and then got to do another one and another one.
15:46And it just went on like that.
15:48I'm glad to be sitting next to Gemma.
15:50I do need to say this because people think that we fell out.
15:53First of all, Gemma, you should have told me that I'd hurt your feelings.
15:56Because I didn't know, baby.
15:57I really didn't know.
15:58And I was just talking to you about Chicago because that was the only thing I knew we had in
16:03common.
16:04And I wasn't trying to hurt your feelings in any way.
16:07And I actually thought that we struck up this sort of great friendship there.
16:11So I was really upset myself to see that you were upset.

19:48was one course he's got the sunglasses on he's like 30 shots of bull's blood i had one camel penises

20:02and the funny thing is that's not the most shocking thing you've heard all night
20:05no it was unbelievable it was so tough it was so tough it was bigger more extreme dirtier smellier

20:25you obviously had a pretty tough time throughout there i actually felt very sorry for you the whole
20:30way through you had savannah scrubs you had this kind of head to head with sunita a couple of times
20:34and you
20:34always lost as well how did you find the trials well no no do you know what though he's going
20:39forward
20:40no savannah scrubs was tough but because it was so tough it was very bonding so we had me and
20:46jemma
20:47and adam and bev in there and that was you know for me that was the uh the funnest time
20:51that i had on
20:52the show so i actually i actually loved it i thought it was great i mean that's the thing we
20:58had a lot of fun
20:59like we got we had really inquisitive conversations we got to know each other really well um we danced
21:05we giggled like and breathwork we did breathwork which that this show actually gave me the confidence
21:13i'm now doing my own breathwork events i know nobody really saw that but i did it with with mostly

22:10corral a couple more camp mates so please take a seat yeah scarlet we adore you we're talking about
22:15how tough it is yeah the second time around uh why do you think that may be i think it
22:21was just because
22:22the trials were so much harder so i think we all went in thinking oh we know what we're doing
22:28and then
22:29obviously it was just like i genuinely don't know what sicko comes up with these trials we'll have a
22:35words the thing is though we all did them yeah so i don't know who's sick sicker you did so
22:41well you
22:42did so well i tell you what was a an interesting moment you and ash teaming up on a couple
22:46of them
22:47that snakes and ladders was really amazing to watch you overcome your fears but it was really difficult
22:52to watch it at some times and scarlet there was a point obviously and you you felt like you might
22:56have said i'm a celebrity you didn't you powered through well i'm just proud of myself for
23:01facing me fears of corn it was something that i didn't know that i would come up again but ashley
23:09was unbelievable like that was a genuine fear and even just the flexibility of your squat was admirable
23:17because i that was unbelievable i remember being like why did you squat i was like i don't know it
23:21just felt natural the guys i guess they were testing out were like leaning to the sun and i just
23:27was
23:27going right in the middle there but i'm so glad i did it together with my boys yeah but you
23:32you guys
23:32had such a great friendship in there where are you just just wet the bed again
23:50oh my lord chaos back to the room we saw sunita you said i'm supposed to get me out of
23:58here in the
23:58trial um did anyone else think about saying it where we might not have seen it i thought about
24:04saying it oh when oh i mean there was a few times i thought about saying it uh sometimes towards
24:11the
24:11end yeah you're getting really tired you're really hungry you miss your family so it wasn't a trial it
24:17was actually just sort of like around the camp in the camp and like yeah and you just think you
24:22know what
24:23i mean why am i what am i doing here i don't want to change my life i'm quite happy
24:27with my life you
24:27know what i mean i'm only doing it for the money don't turn it to jimmy no no but you
24:35know how you
24:35know you know you do it for a payday don't you certainly test your mental strength yeah what was
24:41the toughest trial for you would you say it craig because obviously you went through quite a few of
24:45them you're spinning the spinning ball because i got motion sickness and then you really you
24:50really are conscious that you're being sick into the face of a heavyweight champion it's like
24:54can sometimes appear slightly unhinged you know and you're just hoping that he's not going to
25:00hit you with the haymaker so i know tony bell you don't like yeah yeah yeah yeah he doesn't do
25:06well with scousers does he i would have had him i would have had him no but um but like
25:10yeah so that was
25:11that i was i couldn't even remember the name of five actresses who'd won an oscar by then i couldn't
25:16remember my own name you had to do so much don't worry about that but at the end i was
25:23like that you
25:23know when you're just defeated and depleted and i was just thinking you know what have i done with my
25:29life it was all going so well i should have thought it through we did brilliantly mate as did you
25:38mo um
25:39i've got to ask you what's scarier being underground with snakes or admitting to your wife that you can
25:44actually cook i feel like you you're now getting home and i imagine it's all on you yeah both wasn't
25:50easy honestly but for beautiful kids and often my wife cooks i never cook it and then obviously i knew
25:56the show was coming out i'll help so i've been practicing a little bit but i enjoy cooking cooking
26:02for me gives me something that you know you can prepare with energy and i enjoy it well you didn't
26:08prepare jemma's but other than that yeah
26:09no that night was hilarious i didn't know anything about it until i watched it back on tv
26:19and i was like oh that's small okay thank you
26:22we were all watching it
26:24it was a tennis match

26:33that's just your vibe yeah did you find the trials tougher this time around yeah they were
26:38they were tough you know but as i said earlier really i think you go into it and you know

26:48might not taste great or what you know i did the one i had with jimmy early on when we
26:52had this i think
26:53we had five dishes here and they were pretty horrendous you know but yeah i just put my mind somewhere
26:57else i think i'm out you know having a nice meal with my wife and eating some calamari or a
27:02bit of
27:02tartar sauce or whatever and get on with it yeah i love this mindset i really do right we've spoken
27:08to you guys quite a lot but there is one big personality that we need to hear from our bev
27:13so
27:13sadly she couldn't be with us in the studio but she is joining us right now

28:11talking i don't know if you managed to see us how much fun it was like you sean jemma and

28:19were such an incredible incredible little unit together how did you find that experience
28:25we loved it honestly it was great and it was amazing that loads of the viewers said
28:31oh no don't let them go back in the main camp keep them there because it's great fun
28:36but we truly loved it and we got on so well together and it was quite intimidating then
28:44when we had to join the main camp so that was quite scary particularly as i didn't bump into david
28:53again
28:55um bev we we did discuss i've got something to tell you all i am going to tell you what
29:02the real david haye is like oh
29:05oh okay i'm sat we're all sat bev go on far away okay i'll tell you and he's gonna hate
29:14me for saying this
29:16but he is a great big teddy bear oh

29:27that's the truth
29:29and i know everybody's gonna disagree with me but not the people who were in there oh because
29:36obviously the first day i met him i just thought come on mate bring it on i'm not having this
29:45how dare you judge me you know why do i have to feed you but once you get talking to
29:52him and you get
29:53to know him he's actually a straightforward very direct person and we got to know each other more and more
30:04i got to know his girlfriend
30:07he is just gorgeous
30:10she has got a great personality and
30:14on the last wait for this wait for this on the last day before we flew back
30:21i don't know if you noticed but david wears a pendant yes and his girlfriend
30:27made it for him and they made me one and gave it to me on the last day oh that
30:33is absolutely beautiful
30:34that's really lovely and it's nice to hear like your insights so obviously you know we get to see like
30:39an hour a day or whatever it is like you guys are all in there you're all bonding have these
30:43amazing
30:43moments together so it's really good to get your perspective you obviously had the most incredible
30:50did you make yourself proud thanks but we all do adam's gorgeous everybody's gorgeous and they were all

32:17we had such a laugh making that so it was really great to see her again and she is she's

32:22concrete that gail she's hard as nails i gotta say yeah to the point actually where we saw a jump

32:28a plane and she was crazy she was like reciting the the the animals she had to remember the animals
32:34she had to remember as she's falling she's like zebra hippo how are you doing that actually crazy she
32:42wanted to make herself proud and come in and really represent that you can do anything at any age
32:47and i think she proved that oh 100 i mean no complaints whatsoever from bev um one thing i do
32:54want to add though is uh something said about you mo is when you jumped out of a plane and
32:58these are her
32:58words she said that you screamed like a bitch i did did i i'm just saying her words i think

33:06post-warshead so we're all good no i was screaming of course bev it's like boom i was just scared
33:12at the
33:13time and um yeah she she showed she's definitely showed me up she shows all of us up i wouldn't
33:18worry about that it's absolutely fine she's superhuman yeah and honestly scarlet and ashley we're
33:23obviously talking about like the light moments of bev and the glue that holds everyone together
33:26you guys i feel like we're a bit of a glue that held each other together which was so lovely
33:30how
33:30lovely was it coming into camp and just having that real girl bond oh we had so much fun like

33:36would sing and dance and like it was just so nice waking up on a morning and like opening my
33:41hammock and then just seeing ashes face be like morning we just honestly we just had such a
33:47giggle in there and like i just honestly when ash went over a puzzle yeah and then i went over

33:56maths question i was like it was like two pieces but it just wasn't the same for me when all
34:03the
34:03challenges and stuff like that they used to you know you were successful at to go out over a
34:07puzzle or counting balls i mean it's like a lottery it's like a lottery anyone yeah yeah
34:15yeah but i think that's the wonderful thing about this show is that like i would never get to hang
34:20out with a pussycat dog you know maybe not and like i just have so much admiration like ashley and
34:26i
34:26know everyone will say this about ashley is just a beacon of sunshine like she really really did just
34:32keep us going there you were just always so positive even on the days where we all had dips like
34:37you never seemed to dip you were always just so positive and yeah and all these people you know
34:43talented people that do these amazing things in all different walks of life and then suddenly you're
34:49around the camp and you're all in the same outfit and it's kind of becomes it kind of levels out
34:54doesn't it and everyone just is who they are and uh and that's what's so wonderful about the show
34:59yeah but it was a different format wasn't it you know where you lost a trial anybody could have gone
35:03out any time you could have even been voted out and called the wrong name i mean possibly that would
35:09never happen that would never happen right now i swear walk in that walk that day when they said to
35:17me yeah you've got to send someone home i said i can't do that i said i'll go home they
35:21said you can't
35:22yeah you're the king you've got to send someone my head it was like walking in that dressing room
35:27before a game or and picking a team and leaving somebody out you know i just felt so bad and
35:33i got
35:34there and called him the wrong bloody name i mean it was a nightmare how he ever talks to me

35:40know i love the man but that that's the thing you go on a show such a big show like

35:44and the whole you know point of it is that we get to show millions of people
