00:00And they've been sloppy, and they have not played winning baseball in any facet of the sport.
00:07And I guess I'll just go to the elephant in the room.
00:11Do you think that reflects on the manager, Ricky?
00:15I think it has to.
00:16Right.
00:17And so, you know, I know you guys have been talking about it, and, you know, Jim Salisbury, I think,
00:22described it very well.
00:23See, I wouldn't use the word safe to describe Rob's job status.
00:28I would only say safe for now.
00:32This is Dave's decision, and Dave looks at 23 games, and he says, too small a sample.
00:39He thinks you shouldn't start making judgments until 40 games.
00:43He fired Joe Girardi after 50 games.
00:46I mean, if this keeps up, to me it would be hard to wait and wait and wait for 40
00:54games.
00:54See, I think it comes down to, like, what are you looking at?
00:58And there are three ways you could look at this.
01:01One is it's early, nothing to worry about.
01:03Let's throw that one out.
01:05It feels like way more than that.
01:06So it comes down to two things.
01:09Either it's, is this 2012?
01:13You know, are you getting those 2012 vibes?
01:16That was the year that turned into the end of the Rollins-Howard-Utley era?
01:21Or does it look the way it looked right before Joe got fired?
01:26In other words, good team, good players, bad baseball, unacceptable, underperformance, don't like the look, don't like the prep, don't
01:37like the energy, need to do something.
01:39I think that's got to be the decision.
01:42And I don't think you put any artificial games played number on it.
01:47You have to look at that and decide, is this the end of the era?
01:51Or is this a team that needs a jolt?
