00:12That mission continues today in this new phase as Iran has an important choice, a chance
00:18to make a deal, a good deal, a wise deal.
00:23As part of that effort, the United States has imposed an ironclad blockade that grows
00:28more powerful by the day.
00:31From the Gulf of Oman to the open oceans, our Navy is enforcing this blockade without hesitation
00:38or apology.
00:39Now, as usual, there's a lot of false information out there.
00:43I'll say this.
00:44Every ship, every ship that the U.S. believes meets our criteria, either Iranian ships or
00:51to and from Iranian ports, has been turned around.
00:56As of this morning, 34 total.
00:59Non-Iranian vessels are allowed to transit, and many have, including overnight.
01:07Not only is the blockade growing, in fact, a second aircraft carrier will join the blockade
01:13in just a few days, but this growing blockade is also gone global.
01:19Just this week, we seized two Iranian dark fleet ships in the Indo-Pacific region that had left
01:26Iranian ports before the blockade went into effect.
01:30They thought they'd made it out just in time.
01:33They did not.
01:34President Trump said it again yesterday.
01:37We have all the time in the world, and we're not anxious for a deal.
01:43And I hear him say it every day in private as well.
01:48Iran knows that they still have an open window to choose wisely, as we said previously, choose
01:53wisely at the negotiating table.
01:56All they have to do is abandon a nuclear weapon in meaningful and verifiable ways, or instead,
02:01they can watch their regime's fragile economic state collapse under the unrelenting pressure
02:06of American power, a blockade as long as it takes, whatever President Trump decides, because the
02:15bottom line remains the bottom line.
02:19Iran will never get a nuclear bomb.
02:20The choice is theirs, but with this blockade, the clock is not on their side.
02:27Moreover, President Trump has authorized the United States Navy to destroy any Iranian fastboats that
02:34attempt to put mines in the water or disrupt passage through the Strait of Hormuz to shoot and kill.
02:40Our commanders have clear rules of engagement.
02:43If Iran is putting mines in the water or otherwise threatening American commercial shipping or American
02:48forces, we will shoot to destroy.
02:51No hesitation, just like the drug boats in the Caribbean.
02:56It's also worth saying this should not be America's fight alone.
03:02We barely use the Strait of Hormuz as a country.
03:06Our energy doesn't flow through there.
03:08And we have plenty of energy.
