42:47My parents were both junior hockey coaches
42:51And they were hit by a drunk driver
42:54When I was 12 years old
42:57Mercifully for them
42:58They died instantly
43:00Mercifully for me
43:02St. Thomas scholarships existed
43:06I didn't have anybody else to help me
43:10Had a lot of memories
43:12A love of hockey
43:13And
43:14A huge hole in my heart
43:17St. Thomas filled it with hope
43:20The hope of a new family
43:23Things
43:23Things weren't always easy
43:25You know, they never are
43:26For anybody
43:27But
43:29In hockey
43:29I found what I was missing
43:32First at my high school
43:34Then later at college
43:35And now here
43:36With the admirals
43:37And I never looked back
43:40Because I never had to
43:44The family I craved
43:45The family that I needed
43:47That I still need today
43:51Hockey gave it to me
43:53And St. Thomas gave me hockey
43:57So from the bottom of my heart
