00:16to the u.s he put up a post on x which says quote we do not accept negotiations under
00:21the shadow of
00:21threat and over the past two weeks we have we are we have prepared to reveal new cards on the
00:27battlefield yes he said new cards on the battlefield what is that that sounds a little
00:33ominous do you attribute that to be typical iranian bluster or do you think there's a chance perhaps
00:38some adversarial country like russia or china slipped around some new weaponry during the ceasefire yes
00:44please ben enlighten us uh look i think it is overt uh posturing there by the speaker of parliament he
00:53may try to maybe trying to deliver a message to his own people there's been infighting within iran
00:58between uh the speaker who has been interested in in negotiating uh with the trump administration
01:05reportedly and uh general vahidi of the irgc who has been strongly against it and so if the
01:12parliamentary speaker comes out with these strong words perhaps he thinks that will give him some room
01:16uh to negotiate that's certainly one possibility i can tell you that the u.s intelligence community
01:21is on high alert tracking uh the extent to which russia and china might be providing china might be
01:27providing iran with uh military equipment china yes china and russia are backing iran with their
01:33technologies ammunition guns missiles military equipments anything they have they are backing iran
01:40iranians fuel uncertainty ahead of expected talks iran threats that if something would be happening to
01:48them if these fed expires reportedly provided man pads and dual use equipment for use in iranian drones
01:55and ballistic missiles so that's something that we have to be keenly aware of tracking and then seeking
02:00to stop with that blockade that we've imposed okay so speaking of that nikki haley posted this on x
02:05yesterday okay in the usc's in the strait of hormuz over the weekend was headed from china to iran and
02:11is
02:11linked to chemical shipments for missiles another reminder that china is helping prop up iran's regime a
02:17reality that can't be ignored and of course um the strait of hormuz right now it remains closed the
02:23president's trying to get these talks going um china china wants the strait of hormuz to reopen
02:29because iran is doing deals in yuan the chinese currency and that's why china is backing them russia
02:37also backing them at the same time he's preparing for a big trip to china as well
02:44yeah there's a lot on the table there uh if the president does indeed travel to china
02:49next month yes we've got uh trade issues uh china's uh fentanyl production that they've been
02:55shipping through mexico to our country yes china is shipping fentanyl that deadliest drug to u.s
03:02through mexico so many of them so many uh their theft of intellectual property militarizing the south
03:08china sea yes all of those issues and then this one as well where iran closely aligned with russia
03:15uh and iran north korea this century's axis of dictatorships with uh interests that are obviously
03:22antithetical to ours and making uh whatever let me introduce you again with the dan hoffman he is dan

03:35for us to achieve yes i want to get your thoughts on what democratic senator chris murphy tweeted late
03:41last night um he has been a very vocal critic of this war he reposted an article that appears to

03:48iranian propaganda which essentially says that uh more than two dozen iranian ships in their shadow
03:54fleet were able to get past the u.s blockade senator murphy responded to that by saying quote
03:59awesome uh republican critics are now pouncing on that saying uh he is this is what happening
04:04democratic celebrates claims of iran bypassing the blockade this is what we have right now the
04:11breaking news right here iran is bypassing the blockade done by u.s troops how how is that
04:19cheering for the iranian regime to defeat the u.s naval blockade can you give us your thoughts on that
04:25yes please dan please i i just don't think that's particularly productive uh look the congress is
04:32going to have an opportunity to voice their opposition or uh support for the war yes dan day
04:3953 okay and and the war powers resolution will have that discussion at day 60 uh and votes so i

04:46look we're in the war i think we should be rooting for the home team and yes we should be
04:51rooting for
04:52the home team we are already in the war uh trying to be productive about and also consistent with what
04:58the facts show uh about uh about the state of a state of play right now and and political posturing
05:05probably at this point not super helpful but the debate will be of value american citizens deserve
05:11that and the trump administration should take it on and continue to explain why it's important that
05:16we yes please we need explanation every u.s citizen everybody needs transparency yes total transparency
05:25with this iranian regime uh their nuclear program ballistic missile program and support to proxy
05:31terrorists yes and then deliver a plan for opening the strait of hormuz no dan thank you so much as
05:36you say uh we should be rooting thank you dan it's a welcome one
