00:00Detectives charged two men and interrupted an alleged violent crime plot after intercepting
00:05a so-called kill car. Around 2.40am on Wednesday, April 22nd, 2026, police were called to Karangi
00:13Road in Weyland following reports of a home invasion. Officers were told four men had forced
00:19their way into the home, allegedly armed with a hammer and a firearm. Before police arrived,
00:26they allegedly fled the scene in a black Mercedes SUV. Four people had been home at the time but no
00:33one was injured. Around 3.30pm the same day, detectives observed two men in a garage at a
00:40home in LaSanthe Street, Marsden Park, allegedly unloading items from a black Mercedes SUV into
00:47a Hyundai hatchback. The vehicle was stopped on Richmond Road a short time later. Inside the
