00:00Yeah, I mean, you've written an article, and I think you're getting at the same point you're
00:03making in the article in which you said President Trump has gone from wanting to stop Iran from
00:09ever having a nuclear weapon.
00:12But you also say that Iran already had an extremely effective, what you call, doomsday
00:17weapon.
00:18And for the benefit of our viewers, I just wondered what that doomsday weapon is that
00:23you're referring to.
00:23Is it the Strait of Hormuz?
00:24Oh, yes.
00:25The closure or control of the Strait of Hormuz is the doomsday weapon.
00:30And even though we just put a blockade on Iran, they had a 40-day head start.
00:34Something like 20% of the world's oil, 25% of the LNG, all sorts of other distillates from
00:40oil, to say nothing, of food.
00:44That's having immediate consequences.
00:46Ships move very slowly about the speed of a bicycle.
00:50So even if the Strait opens tomorrow, it's going to take so much time to get the needed
00:56products that emerge from the Straits of Hormuz and the Persian Gulf to the rest of the world.
01:01So it's already had consequences globally, especially in Asia, and they're only going
01:06to compound with time.
