00:00This is what many believe is a treasure map, but it's not leading to something buried by nefarious pirates, but
00:05rather something buried by nefarious Nazis.
00:08The map was made public by the Dutch National Archives just this week, after the required 75 years had passed
00:13since its discovery.
00:15It details what they say is the hiding place of likely millions of euros worth of items hidden by Axis
00:20soldiers during World War II.
00:21They say there could be several boxes full of gems like diamonds and rubies, as well as gold, silver, and
00:27other jewelry, all looted from a bank after an explosion there in 1944.
00:31And this is Jan Henson, a detectorologist and treasure hunter, who is absolutely tickled at the thought of finding such
00:37a treasure.
00:38He's been using his metal detector to find objects in the area for 30 years, even finding Roman artifacts in
00:43the past.
00:43But since news of the map broke, he's been searching for just one thing, the buried Nazi treasure, saying he
00:49believes he and others have zeroed in on where it's likely buried.
00:52Explaining, I think this spot is the most obvious one, because this is where the old dirt road used to
00:57be, which is called Feldweg on the map, which goes to the then headquarters of a German general.
01:02Now only time will tell how long the Nazi treasure will remain hidden.
