00:00The Ollie Robbins testimony yesterday showed a Prime Minister who rushed through a very, very senior and important appointment before
00:10vetting was concluded.
00:12And that shows that for a man who's supposed to be all about process, all about doing things properly, that
00:18he jumped the gun and did it very badly.
00:21And today in Parliament, there are now even questions about Jonathan Powell, the National Security Advisor, and whether he was
00:27vetted.
00:27And I'm afraid there is an irony here. We always thought that Keir Starmer was the steady-eddy Prime Minister
00:34who would always follow the rules, and it appears he's played fast and loose with all of them.
00:39Was it right that he was sacked? Should he be reinstated?
00:43Well, Ollie Robbins was sacked as the fall guy for Sir Keir Starmer.
00:49I'm not a big fan of Ollie Robbins after the Brexit day-bark, but it does seem that, whether it's
00:55Morgan McSweeney or Ollie Robbins,
00:57this Prime Minister sacks everybody around him and never personally takes the blame for anything.
