09:42The Florida Keys are known for exceptional fishing and diving.
09:46But above the water's surface, over 285 species of birds call these shores home.
09:53When one of these birds becomes sick or injured, the Marathon Wild Bird Center steps in to rescue, rehabilitate, and
10:02release them back into the wild.
10:04To learn more about this nonprofit organization, the guys meet up with founder and director, Kelly Grinter.
10:11So how many birds do we have in the Marathon Wild Bird Center?
10:13We have 35 non-releasable birds plus Rita the bald eagle.
10:17And now you got an earl bird.
10:18So you got 37 today.

10:34A variety of birds, from plovers to pelicans, continue to be cared for, including Quinn, who is completely blind after
10:43being hit by a car.
10:45And Rita the bald eagle, who had part of a wing amputated due to infection.
10:51So, Ms. Kelly, if we were to find a bird that was in danger, what's the protocol?
10:55Who do we call?
10:56That's a great question.
10:57First of all, there are three wild bird centers in the Florida Keys.
11:00We have Key Largo, Marathon, and Key West.
11:02So depending on where you are, you would call one of those.
11:04Okay.
11:04We want you to give us as much information as possible about where you are.
11:07And if you can't stay with the bird, find a piece of trash or anything and tie it somewhere where
11:13you can tell the rescuer what to look for.
11:15With the help of her feathered friends, Kelly goes beyond rescue efforts, leading educational programs and supporting research focused on
11:24human-wildlife conflict and reducing the hazards that put these birds at risk.

18:10Today's recipe is a twist on tradition with blackened fish sliders.
18:15I've got a few pieces of fish here.
18:17What am I going to be doing with this?
18:19So you're going to take a little of your olive oil, drizzle,
18:21and then you're going to season with your blackened seasoning there.
18:23Okay.
18:24So that blackened seasoning is going to taste real nice
18:26with that sweet Hawaiian roll.
18:28Drizzle, drizzle.

18:31What we're going to do next is you're going to put your fish
18:35onto the skillet here.
18:36I mean, would you normally add a little oil first
