Chelsea's miserable season continued was they lost their fifth straight Premier League match.

They fell to a 3-0 defeat to Brighton who have moved ahead of them in search of a champion league spot.

And Real Madrid defeated Alaves 2-1 today to reduce Barcelona's league lead to six points
