00:02Close to midnight, tactical police move in on a property in Sydney South West.
00:07Your house is surrounded by Emily Art Police.
00:10It marked the end of a desperate rescue mission, almost as soon as it began.
00:15That's big, big, big strange things happening right now.
00:18Just an hour earlier, a man in his 30s was assaulted and abducted at gunpoint by four men as he
00:25parked his car outside his Guildford home.
00:27He tried to flee obviously, but he was overpowered and he was placed in his own vehicle and driven from
00:33that location.
00:34A short time later, his captors swapped vehicles before setting the victim's car alight in nearby Villawood.
00:40But thanks to the police helicopter already in the air, officers were hot on their tail and tracked them down
00:46to this home in Kasoola.
00:47We always thought the house is like, no one lives there, like it looks abandoned.
00:51Before police could start a siege, five people ran from the property.
00:56Officers quickly picked them off one by one along the highway, including a 17-year-old boy.
01:02Inside the home, they found the victim bound by his hands and legs, along with a pistol and baseball bat.
01:08Good police work ensured that he was released within a short timeframe, within 45 minutes.
01:14That man was Emilio Shalhoub, the bodyguard of alleged senior Alameddine associate Ali Yunus, also known as A-Huncho.
01:22The rapper was himself the target of a foiled hit just 10 days ago.
01:27Emilio Shalhoub was also the intended target of a botched hit here at his Guildford home back in June.
01:34But his two would-be attackers instead stabbed his dad in a case of mistaken identity.
01:40While it's clear he has a target on his head, detectives are still trying to figure out why.
