00:00Let's now go live to Trujillo in Venezuela. We are going live as a caravan of motorized citizens, as we
00:07are seeing on our screen. People on their motorcycles are riding alongside together, side by side, across the highways of
00:15Trujillo, as we are seeing live in the images.
00:17This is all part of the great caravan of the great national pilgrimage that began last Sunday, April 19th, called
00:25by the acting president, Delsi Rodriguez, who called on the people to take part of this great pilgrimage through Venezuela,
00:33through the entire country, to demand to call for an end of all sanctions.
00:37So the people are carrying these activities, these mass rallies, demanding a sanction-free Venezuela.
00:47So this is currently live right now.
00:49It's happening in Trujillo, as you were saying.
00:51Three caravans started.
00:53From the starting point, we're seeing they're in the lead of this motorized caravan, Diosdado Cabello, who's having some statements.
01:01Let's listen to the words of Diosdado Cabello, the Minister of Interior Justice and Peace.
01:08Well, we will be in a completely different situation of development, of well-being, of progress for the country.
01:17This growth has to be a growth with equality for all sectors of Venezuela.
01:22Minister, the Venezuelan people has shown the love it has for peace and, above all, independence that today are joining
01:30this great pilgrimage to request the end of sanctions.
01:34Well, that has to do with the freedom of the people.
01:37Venezuela must serve free.
01:39Venezuela has to fly so that the world sees, as a united country, all sectors at the national level.
01:49At the national level, all Venezuelans are joining to the desire of having a Venezuela free of sanctions, a Venezuela
01:56in peace.
01:57That is one of the main values so that everything else can continue.
02:01Peace and tranquility in a country which is assured and the investment comes without any kind of issues because blockades
02:08are no longer.
02:10What is the rejection to those expressions of hate, the expressions of racism?
02:15The Venezuelan people consider that humor will always be hatred.
02:19Of course, nothing is smarter than an opposition figure.
02:24They go out there and they believe above themselves and they want to mock of the Venezuelan.
02:31When a person like that stands in an event, all that was planned in that way, then they will have,
02:38now we will have the excuses because it went wrong.
02:40But it was evenly planned so that amid that activity, they did that insult against Venezuelan women, against Venezuelan workers.
02:50Well, we all come from there.
02:52We feel very proud, those here, of being a mixture.
02:57Those who believe themselves to be of pure breed, truly, what they are is sick.
03:04They are sick of hate.
03:06They are sick of frustration.
03:08They are sick of racism.
03:10They are stupid racism at this point in time that this condemns any person whether he supports Chavez or not.
03:18He is condemning, everyone is condemning the racist attitudes of a sector.
03:25Now they will blame that person but that was planned and prepared so that it was like that.
03:30To raise the spirit of the people that were there that hate us.
03:37Now they are in a big problem because what is true is that those attacks against our people, against the
03:44Venezuelan women and president, what that does is to strengthen us.
03:48Well, we were seeing, listening to some statements of the Osdala Cabello, the Ministry of Security, Interior Justice and Peace,
03:56who was leading this caravan that we were seeing taking place in Trujillo.
04:01He was leading the caravan of motorism under motorcycles and the bikes.
04:05This is part of the great pilgrimage that began on April 19th and will continue until May 1st where the
04:11pilgrimage that left from three different states of the country to travel the entire country left on April from Zulia,
04:19from Tachira and from Amazon states.
04:21They will gather all these thousands and thousands of people will gather in Caracas on May 1st for the great
04:27culmination event.
04:28We call that this pilgrimage is the way of Venezuelan people coming together from all sectors, from all walks of
04:34life to demand an end to all sanctions and blockades that are currently imposed against the country by the United
04:39States and its allies.
04:40We're going to stay tuned with what is happening in Venezuela as soon as we have more images, as soon
04:45as we have more information, we'll have it, of course, live here in Telesurbo.
