01:04Moving ahead to our next story, NTPC recognised for CSR contribution to healthcare.
01:09NTPC Limited has been honoured for its significant CSR contribution of 7.17 crore rupees towards
01:15healthcare initiatives in Gujarat. The funds channeled through the Indian Red Cross Society
01:20have helped strengthen healthcare infrastructure and improve access to medical services across
01:25multiple locations. The recognition was presented at Raj Bhavan Gandhinagar, acknowledging NTPC's
01:32continued commitment to community health and well-being. This initiative reflects how corporate
01:36contributions can directly enhance healthcare accessibility for underserved communities.
01:42Our next story, CSR pushed to address man-animal conflict in Western Ghats.
01:47Karnataka's Forest Minister has called for increased CSR funding to address man-animal conflict and support
01:54conservation efforts in the Western Ghats. The focus includes rehabilitation of forest-dwelling
01:59families, strengthening wildlife corridors and deploying technologies such as drone monitoring
02:04and animal tracking systems. The initiative emphasises that CSR should go beyond conventional
02:09areas and support critical environmental challenges. It also highlights the need for sustainable
02:15long-term interventions aligned with ecological protection and community welfare.
02:20Moving to our final story, Shahi Swast Initiative expands healthcare access. Innovative Project
02:26Management Services Private Limited, in collaboration with Shahi Exports, is implementing the Shahi Swast
02:31Initiative to improve primary healthcare access in Faridabad, Noida and Ghaziabad. The programme focuses on
02:39providing medical consultations for vulnerable groups, promoting preventive health awareness and
02:44connecting communities to healthcare services. Implemented by CCSC, the initiative includes on-ground
02:50service delivery, outreach campaigns and health monitoring. Through this effort, the partners aim to build
02:56sustainable, community-driven healthcare models that improve long-term wellbeing.
