00:00how you wanted to differentiate her from Megan yeah it was really interesting and it was an
00:06exploration for the both of us figuring out um how she should a human being should portray a robot
00:15we um we were very fortunate that we have a really um uh qualified uh movement coach on the film
00:26luke hawker who played the robot in the film i am mother uh which is a great movie and he
00:32was
00:32incredible in that and he learned because he's a sort of a stunt performer and a dancer and a
00:36martial artist he he he he has this incredible control over his body and he knows how to isolate
00:42you know parts of his body and so so he trained amy uh donald on the first movie for megan's
00:47movements and he trained ivana uh on this movie and um so so ivana has this incredible kind of
00:54like grace and stillness and she you know the same economy of movement that that megan does
00:59because you know they both come from from the same code um so they're kind of like two versions of
01:04the same creation in a way um but with ivana it was also figuring out like we had our theories
01:12coming
01:12into it that you're a robot so i don't think you'll emote too much or i don't think you'll i
01:17think you'll
01:17be really restricted but then you know you watch and it's like oh it's kind of boring like so so
01:23you
01:23know we worked on like how you know uh when does she emote how does she emote maybe what's
01:29interesting about her is she's because she's gone rogue she's actually struggling to contain some
01:35of these emotions that she has and she is an infiltration android so she has kind of like
01:39human characteristics and stuff but um as she's as she's processing various things uh and she's she's
01:47she's really on the edge this character you know she plays a robot that's gone rogue so there's a
01:52this is kind of a question mark over you know her sanity a little bit so so that allowed us
01:58to kind
01:58of um figure out um a character that it was just really intense and that she she she has this
02:06incredible quiet intensity and she really feels things on an emotional level and it's funny it's
02:12kind of it was almost like um antithetical really to to what um a robot should be but it worked
02:19really
02:19well for the character i thought
02:22yeah
02:22yeah
02:22so
02:23you
