00:20learned something from uh john krasinski because i do he used to make me crack up with his uh looks
00:27to camera and i think the main thing and it took me and i i think everyone um a minute

00:33kind of how much you actually want to look at the camera i think like at first i was probably

00:36it too much and you kind of learn the balance of like when your character would be talking to the
00:42camera crew and when they wouldn't um so that kind of progressed as the season went on and also you
00:48know as i got more comfortable with my character and what she would want to like share with the
00:52camera and maybe what she'd want to keep to herself is it like about timing i think it's about what
00:58the
00:58other person does like to me it was always like because i felt like it was a lot of the
01:02times i
01:03was doing a stare to camera after something insane you did and so i always found that the laugh comes
01:09from her it's like a layup it's like the laugh comes from you but then i get it because it
01:14lands on
01:15my reaction um but i always find that it needs to come from somebody doing something incredibly
01:21you know authentic to their character that makes you feel a certain way yeah i was looking for a way
01:28to look at the camera i was really intimidated by that because i thought it can't be done better than
01:35in the office but actually it can be done i mean if not better same level high high high level
01:43and so i thought maybe esmeralda just wants to become a star and she's going to use the camera
01:53to seduce a possible audience no so that idea to me was a key to look at the camera sometimes
02:03was a key to decide how esmeralda was supposed to have her hair done so i thought if she wants

02:10become a star her hair is inspired to the hair of a 50s diva like gilda and and so that
02:19was mostly
02:20my relationship with the camera and then sometimes if ned was doing something that esmeralda would
02:28consider like unbearable she would look at the camera like commenting like can you believe that
02:35you know what he said or what he's doing so that was but it's something that i still have to
