Maximilian Ziegler, from Germany, captured the stunning time-lapse over Bahlingen featuring Castle Hohenzollern in Baden-Württemberg. The footage shows the iconic hilltop fortress slowly appearing through a thick blanket of fog, as the sky is lit up in deep red and orange hues from the setting sun. Perched high on Mount Hohenzollern, the castle’s towers and spires rise dramatically above the moving clouds, creating a surreal, almost dreamlike scene. As the time-lapse unfolds, the mist shifts and flows beneath the structure, revealing more of the surrounding landscape while maintaining the illusion of a floating “castle in the sky." Maximilian said: “It was an incredible moment watching the castle rise above the fog during sunset.” One wrote: “What insane shots there you have outdone yourself.” Another added: “My imagination runs through me.
