00:00For the DraftKings player tracker, Paolo Bancaro and Cade Cunningham, who do you think will score more points?
00:05You see their season averages, but Bancaro has been known to come up big in big games in the postseason.
00:11DraftKings is the number one sportsbook for live betting.

00:17So glad to have you back in Detroit.
00:19No Eagle, the Hall of Famer Grant Hill, Ashley Shalmity with you as well.
00:22You've been saying all day this doesn't feel like your typical 1-8 matchup.
00:27I'm getting you ready for the physicality in this matchup.
00:30Both teams love to defend.
00:31They love to get into the paint.
00:33In Orlando, they haven't played to their potential maybe this season, but they are confident coming in against the number
00:38one team.
00:38Jamal Mosley had them ready to go in a do-or-die game just a couple days ago at home
00:44against Charlotte.
00:45121-90 to get through the play-in into the playoffs for the third consecutive year.
00:51Detroit, second straight year in the playoffs.
00:53Lost in six last year to the New York Knicks in the first round.
00:57But they come in as the number one seed, which they've been essentially all season in the Eastern Conference.
01:02And they are as confident as anybody that they feel overlooked and can make a run.
01:07James Williams, Kevin Scott, Brian Forte are officials.
01:10A veteran crew has got to start it at Little Caesars Arena.
01:16Now, Asar Thompson, one of the finalists for Defensive Player of the Year, gives it off to Bias Harris, who
01:21has helped to change this culture as a veteran on this team.
01:23A Detroit team that likes to get in the paint.
01:25In fact, they lead the NBA in points in the paint.
01:28But Cunningham couldn't finish on the first possession.
01:30And right away, Wagner guarding Cunningham, trying to use his size.
01:35Cunningham decisively just couldn't finish.
01:37This is an Orlando team that wants to do the same.
01:40Get downhill, but Bancaro had it stripped out of bounds by Harris.
01:43And that's what you're going to see a lot of from both teams tonight.
01:46They like to drive, get into the paint, as you see Jamal Mosley.
01:50And we met with him before the game.
01:51He felt comfortable with this matchup, believe it or not, against Detroit.
01:55Just felt like they're somewhat of mirror images against each other.
01:58Not a great three-point shooting team on either side.
02:01Sort of bottom of the league in those categories.
02:03But they get to the rim, get to the free-throw line.
02:05They're going to assert their will in the paint.
02:08Deep one, Suggs, and it goes.
02:10Right on cue.
02:11You say they're not great shooting, and Suggs makes you pay.
02:14I like how you covered that.
02:15That was good.
02:15Yeah, that's what I'm here for.
02:16But that's also, too, who can knock down open threes?
02:20Everything's going to be a struggle in this paint with the physicality.
02:23Knocking down those three-pointers is a must.
02:26Cunningham, a great season.
02:28Same with Dern, All-Star for the first time.
02:30It looked like Orlando was going to have a fast break, but Bain was out of bounds.
02:34Right away, first two offensive possessions for Detroit, a little sloppy.
02:38Cunningham missing something right easy at the rim.
02:41Just a little bit of an errant pass there.
02:43So Detroit, they haven't played in about a week.
02:45It's going to be interesting to see if they can find their rhythm here early.
02:48That was something that you brought up, especially with Jamal Mosley.
02:51He felt like that could have been an advantage for their team,
02:53just the rhythm versus the potential rust.
02:56No rush from Duncan Robinson as he knocks down a triple.
03:01Once again, so important, knocking down threes.
03:05Robinson has been stellar this season from deep.
03:09Paolo Bancaro in that play-in win over Charlotte.
03:1125 points, five rebounds, six assists.
03:14Averages 28 points per game in his playoff career.
03:17Suggs is two for two from the outside.
03:20That's a great sign.
03:22Jalen Suggs brings that toughness to physicality defensively.
03:25He was in foul trouble in that play-in game against Charlotte,
03:28but aggressive here early.
03:30Talk about physicality and aggression.
03:32There's your first foul.
03:33It's going to go against Desmond Bain.
03:35Against this Detroit offense that is hoping to assert their will inside.
03:3957.9 points on the paint, which leads the NBA.
03:42Third fewest made threes in the league,
03:44but they do lead in stocks, meaning steals and blocks per game.
03:49Thompson gets it outside, and Harris can't hit.
03:53Orlando, 18th over the regular season in offensive rating,
03:5713th in defensive rating, and right in the middle of the pack in pace as well.
04:01Early post-up, it's Bancaro, and it's a deuce.
04:04And I like that.
04:05He's being aggressive here early, showing his post-up moves.
04:09And in that Charlotte game, in his first quarter, he was aggressive early.
04:14Magic won me back from him.
04:16Almost felt like he helped to set the tone.
04:18It was a first quarter that was what he called the best defense they've played in a long time.
04:24Five to shoot now for Robinson.
04:25Ran off the three-point line, and he can't get it to go on the floater.
04:29Thompson kept it alive.
04:30Suggs hits the deck, and he's out of bounds.
04:35Orlando, 45 and 37 over the course of the regular season.
04:39They were 25 and 15 at home, but just 19 and 20 away from Orlando.
04:43Franchise record in points per game.
04:45They led the NBA in free-throw attempts and makes,
04:48but they were 13th in opponent points per game, giving up just over 115 a night.
04:54Cunningham got caught up, tried to get it inside.
04:56Duran knocked away by Bancaro out of bounds.
05:01Great help side there.
05:03Bancaro coming from the weak side, get that deflection, but both these teams' defense is their identity,
05:09their calling card, and at their best when they're swarming and helping each other.
05:13Quick trigger, Robinson, no.
05:17Detroit, as mentioned, got their first real taste of playoff experience for the majority of these guys,
05:22and Bosner had a strip.
05:23Duran scoops it up.
05:25Cunningham, no real numbers.
05:26Robinson attack mode, and Robinson could not keep his footing.
05:31And we talked earlier about how Detroit has not played in about a week, maybe a little rusty.
05:37Conversely, Orlando, they've played three games in the last five days,
05:41so as you know, basketball is all about rhythm that might play into the Magic's hands.
05:47It looks that way here early.
05:48On top of that, this is the first time that this iteration of the Pistons is a number-one seed,
05:5360-win team.
05:54Real expectations for this team as well coming into this playoff run.
05:58Second chance on the rebound by Carter, and Wagner, weird angle.
06:03Five on four if they hurry for Detroit.
06:05Cunningham keeps the eyes up.
06:06It's Harris cutting through, and another foul's going to be number two on Desmond Bain.
06:11I like that there from Tobias Harris.
06:13Could have settled for the pull-up jump shot, but took the ball aggressively to the rim, seeking contact.
06:20He's a guy that could be so important.
06:23Last year was huge for Detroit in that series against the Knicks.
06:26Post-play, jump shots, can go get a bucket.
06:30I like his aggressiveness on that drive.
06:33You think about what Tobias Harris has meant for this Detroit team.
06:37Came in last year along with fellow veterans and Tim Hardaway Jr. and Malik Beasley,
06:41and helped to turn around what was a struggling team that had, obviously, clearly a talented young core,
06:48but taught them day-in, day-out habits of what a playoff team looks like two years later, 60-22
06:54in the one-seat of the East.
06:55And it's worked.
06:55And you give credit, Trajan Langdon, into a great school, certainly capable.
06:59Really?
07:00Where did he attend?
07:01No, it's not important right now.
07:02Are you talking about when he was in high school in Alaska?
07:04Yeah, exactly, an anchorage, yes.
07:06But bringing in those vets to help with this young core, paying off.
07:10Big and pop, Bancaro, no hesitation for three.
07:13Yeah, when he doesn't hesitate, when he's decisive, either catch and shoot, drive or pass, he's at his best.
07:20And Suggs just picked the pocket.
07:22He'll take it coast to coast.
07:24Eight early points for Jalen Suggs, and he's letting them hear it in Detroit.
07:30Time-out, Pistons.
07:34Quick start for Orlando.
07:36Welcome to the show.
07:37Nike A2 drops May 2.
07:43We'll start for Orlando, 13-5 in the early going.
07:47Detroit star is back on the court.
07:49For more on that, we go to Ashley Shomity.
07:51That's right, Noah, and Kate is ready for his second postseason run.
07:54He did experience that collapsed lung to end the regular season, though.
07:57He missed a total of 11 games.
07:59He was able to come back for the final three.
08:01It is his first time experiencing this type of injury.
08:04And talking to him at shoot-around this morning, he said when it happened, it felt like he got the
08:08wind knocked out of him.
08:08But truly didn't know that this is what it was.
08:11Said with a collapsed lung, the rehab process is basically waiting at first for the lung to reinflate,
08:16which can take anywhere from a week plus.
08:18But once it reinflates, it's a lot of endurance-type workouts.
08:20Where he is being monitored.
08:22He told me that he's feeling great, though.
08:24Had a week to prepare even more.
08:26No restrictions heading into the postseason.
08:28He's going to wear a compression wrap, a little extra padding on that side.
08:30But he's been scrimmaging without it, and he feels great.
08:33And that's obviously the key, that no restrictions on how he feels.
08:36Now it's just about finding that rhythm that he had over the first 61 games of the season.
08:40He did get granted that waiver, so he is eligible for postseason awards.
08:44Bain with two fouls, but that jump shot is pretty.
08:48Right there, everything clicking right now for Orlando, but you talked about Cade Cunningham.
08:53What a season.
08:54Has to be an MVP consideration.
08:56Oh, Jalen Suggs is everywhere to start this first quarter, and he gets to that loose ball.
09:01Numbers the other way.
09:02It's Wagner ahead of the pack, and he's got it, plus the foul.
09:06And you see the carryover from the Charlotte Hornets playing game on Friday,
09:11where that first quarter swarming on defense deflections, and then getting out in transition.
09:17But Jalen Suggs, you said it best, like a free safety in football.
09:21And Wagner in transition at 6-10.
09:25So good at finishing at the rim, but the ideal start for Jamal Mosley in his Magic Ball Club.
09:3114-2 runs.
09:33Suggs has been the catalyst.
09:368 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals in the first 4 1⁄2 minutes.
09:42Wagner also trying to make his way, find his rhythm,
09:45after missing 47 of 51 games at one point in the second half of the season.
09:52Played just 34 games this year.
09:54It averaged nearly 21 points when he was out there.
09:57Cunningham's got it.
09:58It's a 3.
09:59And he's that badly.
10:01Get the ball.
10:01He's a superstar, but everything other than that has been a struggle offensively against this Magic defense.
10:08Last year in his first playoffs, as Suggs comes up short,
10:11Cunningham's done a lot of really great things on the offensive end,
10:14but two areas that he struggled.
10:16Turnovers, especially late in the game,
10:18and 3-point shooting below 20% as Thompson can't slip it in in that Knicks series.
10:24Well, the Knicks were extremely physical with Kate Cunningham.
10:28That's going to be a foul on Robinson.
10:30Expect him to be better valuing the basketball in every possession in this series.
10:35And a little love tap there from Robinson.
10:40That was number 2 on Duncan.
10:42So now, one of the few trade deadline moves that Detroit made will check into the game.
10:47That's Kevin Herter, who came over from Chicago in the deal with Jaden Ivey going to the Bulls.
10:53Now Robinson will sit with that second.
10:55So Bain on the Orlando bench.
10:57Meanwhile, Tristan Da Silva has checked in.
11:00Second-year man out of Colorado.
11:01No drive-in kick.
11:02Suggs will try again.
11:04Can't hit that time.
11:05Rebound, foot forward, taken by Cunningham.
11:08Leak out.
11:08Suggs couldn't get back.
11:09And Thompson's there.
11:11And there's bad court balance right there.
11:14Three-point shot by Suggs.
11:15He shouldn't be the guy getting back.
11:18Great assist in delivery from Cunningham.
11:21Anthony Black on the floor, who was one of the most improved player candidates for most of the season before
11:26dealing with injury.
11:27It's an 18 of 20 games after the All-Star game.
11:31Back down on Bancaro.
11:33Versus Cunningham.
11:34That's two number-one overall picks.
11:36And Bancaro wins the battle.
11:38Bancaro right now just playing under control, getting what he wants on the offensive end.
11:45Bancaro has that switch in the postseason.
11:4828 points per game in his postseason career.
11:50And Cunningham comes up short.
11:52And in this series, there's going to be nothing easy getting to the rim.
11:56And both teams elite at packing the paint.
11:59And Bancaro forces the issue.
12:01It'll be Harris on the foul.
12:05And Cade Cunningham can do it all.
12:07I mean, you know, obviously from Texas.
12:10So, you know, he probably was a point guard growing up.
12:12But just a beautiful pass there to Thompson in transition.
12:16And right here, this is where Bancaro is at his best.
12:20Posting up, getting to his spots at last drive.
12:24Able to draw fouls, get to the line, which Orlando is elite at during the regular season.
12:31So much pressure on this guy, Paolo Bancaro.
12:35You see the difference between regular season and postseason over the course of his career.
12:40He's now played in 12 postseason games, seven-game series against Cleveland two years ago, the five last year, and
12:45the loss to Boston in the first round.
12:47But you ask Jamal Mosley about him.
12:50And he said, they talked about it this summer, he embraces doing so much come playoff time that going through
12:56a lot of the stuff that they went through this regular season,
12:58it actually taught him how to trust his teammates even more.
13:01Guys like Jalen Suggs and Anthony Black and Desmond Bain.
13:04And Wendell Carter, in these types of moments, we'll see if he can apply that.
13:09But he does have an early nine first quarter points.
13:11Duran had it knocked away by Suggs.
13:14Right now, Jalen Suggs again, just forcing the issue on both ends.
13:19Thought about it.
13:20Now it's Black with 14 to shoot.
13:26Suggs off the heel, and it's rebounded by Herder.
13:32Thompson on the move.
13:33Herder sets the feet.
13:35And throws it through.
13:36That was a great setup there by Thompson, getting to the paint, collapse the defense, and spray it to one
13:42of your shooters.
13:45This has been an energetic opening seven minutes of this series.
13:50Good ball movement.
13:51Bancaro swing.
13:52Da Silva pump.
13:53Da Silva drive.
13:55Kick it out.
13:56Extra.
13:56It sucks.
13:57And he comes up short.
13:59After he made those first two, he's gone cold.
14:01But, oh, Suggs diving on a loose ball.
14:03It was Carter who picked the pocket.
14:08Jalen Suggs is everywhere in this first quarter.
14:12Oh.
14:12The former prized football player from Minnesota.
14:16Showing some physicality and some guts.
14:19Black can't hit on the three, and Duran clears the board.
14:22And Orlando's gone cold the last few possessions from the three-point line.
14:26But going to have to knock some of those down is Isaiah Stewart with an early post-up in transition.
14:32He got fouled by Suggs.
14:34Right here, playing with pace.
14:37You know, I thought they were pretty methodical Detroit to start this first quarter.
14:41But Thompson pushing it, getting down the floor, Herter getting himself open.
14:46And Suggs just diving.
14:47I don't even know if he needed to dive, right?
14:49I think he just wanted to get on the floor.
14:51I think he wanted some extra points from the coaching staff.
14:54No, that's a football player who sees a fumble and says, I've got to get on top of that.
14:57You see, I never played football, so I would have just gone and tried to pick it up.
15:00Yeah.
15:01Right.
15:01Is that by design?
15:03You just wanted no physicality?
15:04Well.
15:05The only physicality you wanted is for our on-camera, that's it.
15:08Exactly.
15:09Wide open look.
15:10And Stewart doesn't get the role.
15:14So Detroit, three of eight from three.
15:16Orlando, three of nine to start this game.
15:19Two teams that were towards the bottom of the league in that category.
15:24Black on the short roll.
15:25Lob it up, and Carter does the rest.
15:27And that's the luxury right there.
15:29That's unconventional screen and rolls.
15:31You have Black as the roller, a point guard, able to make a play with a beautiful pass inside
15:37of Carter.
15:38All five starters have now scored for Orlando.
15:41Cunningham, long stride for this.
15:47Orlando wasting no time.
15:48Suggs goes right at LaFerre.
15:50The hoop and harm for Jalen Suggs.
15:57I mean, that was a one-man fast break right there.
16:01Detroit scores.
16:02Suggs just pushes it, gets downhill, initiates the contact before the rest of the defense
16:08can get set.
16:09And we've said it here time and time again this first quarter.
16:12His energy, his enthusiasm, his aggressiveness on both ends.
16:17And his team is feeding off that here.
16:19Noah.
16:19He's got nine shot attempts.
16:21Detroit as a team has 14.
16:23Wow.
16:25Suggs has talked about it.
16:26This is an Orlando team that has struggled on the road.
16:29They have yet to win a playoff game on the road under Jamal Mosley after going in back-to-back
16:34years.
16:35And Suggs said what they did against Charlotte is what playoff teams are supposed to look
16:41like.
16:41Now it has to travel.
16:42And it's on them to make sure it travels.
16:45He is setting the precedent in this opening quarter as LaFerre finds the bottom.
16:49One, two, three.
16:54LaFerre brings some playoff experience now here with Detroit.
16:58He's got 25 playoff games over the course of his 10-year NBA career.
17:02Ben Carroll had it packed by Stewart.
17:04Beef Stew says no.
17:08And the first play finish.
17:10Cunningham on the other end.
17:23No, a Detroit Pistons basketball at its best.
17:27Beef Stew with the denial.
17:30And out in transition where the Pistons thrive.
17:35And John Mason is happy.
17:40Time now for the DraftKings player tracker.
17:43Paolo Bancaro and Cade Cunningham are keeping an eye on who's going to score more between
17:46the two.
17:47And Paolo got off to the quick start with nine, but Cade up to seven.
17:50DraftKings is the number one sportsbook for live betting.
17:52Get in on the action.
17:53Download the app and use promo code DUNK when you sign up.
17:56The great Rip Hamilton and Ben Wallace.
18:00They just gave Ben a standing ovation here in Detroit as we check in with Ashley.
18:03Guys, I just listened to that last Orlando timeout.
18:06Maybe the most encouraging huddle I've ever listened to.
18:08Multiple Orlando guys speaking up, speaking out, encouraging everybody to keep the energy
18:12up.
18:13And when Coach Mosley sat down, he really emphasized playing the rat race game versus valuing it
18:17possession by possession.
18:19And that is a great value on a second possession.
18:22A quick hit on the open three from De Silva.
18:23Goes back to what you've talked about with Jamal Mosley before the game, that this group
18:27doesn't feel like your typical 18 of saying, hey, yeah, we're confident.
18:31They believe it.
18:32They rock the rock, talk the talk, and everything in between as Cunningham forces the issue.
18:36And we'll get free throws.
18:37Well, it's been an up and down season for the Orlando Magic.
18:40They didn't think at the start they'd be an eighth seed or even in the playing games last
18:45week.
18:46But regardless, despite that, it's all behind.
18:50And we've got a new season here at the start.
18:52And right away, for Detroit, I love Cade Cunningham, finding his rhythm.
18:57We talked about him being out.
18:59And just putting it down, getting downhill, just always plays at his pace and gets the
19:05shot that he wants.
19:10Well, here are the MVP chants here.
19:12When you ask J.B. Bickerstaff about just the chip that his team plays with on a consistent
19:19basis, you hear guys like Isaiah Stewart talk about how they feel disrespected that they're
19:24not the favorite in the Eastern Conference, despite being the one seed for the vast majority
19:28of the season.
19:29And what J.B. has said is their approach, no matter what, has always been that.
19:33That there's a chip naturally on their shoulder.
19:35It's still going to be the same.
19:36They don't have any emotional roller coaster because they're all about controlling the chaos.
19:40Whether that's controlling the outside noise or they want to create their own chaos on the
19:45court like this.
19:46Perfect defense by LeBrick to force the miss.
19:51Early offense.
19:53Cunningham on black.
19:54The cross.
19:55The drive.
19:55And he gets stripped.
19:57Bain the other way.
19:58Curtis back defensively.
19:59Bain goes right at him for two.
20:04This early offense on either side, neither team is stopping.
20:08Tobias Harris.
20:10And Eddie Vett can't play it like me.
20:15Under two to play in this first quarter.
20:17Highly competitive, highly emotional first quarter.
20:21Bob Nunez, back tap Matase, blocks three ball.
20:24Off the mark.
20:25And LeBrick has the ball.
20:30Cunningham, shove it, Stewart, had a strip.
20:34Montase got a hand in the cookie jar.
20:36And what a sequence we've just witnessed there from both teams.
20:40The defense stellar and in transition.
20:44Tobias Harris going right at the shot blocker there.
20:48Nice confrontation at the rim.
20:51And here just great hands in transition.
20:55Great defense.
20:56But right now, the transition is where the easy buckets are going to come from.
21:01It is so hard to score in the half court against this defense on both ends.
21:05Combine 16 fast break points so far.
21:08Dennis Jenkins.
21:09First throw.
21:10First throw.
21:1612 straight for Detroit.
21:18And the man that's become a Colt hero here in Michigan, delivering the game title.
21:25Defense!
21:27Defense!
21:28Defense!
21:29Defense!
21:29Final minute approaching of this first, and that's going to be away from the ball.
21:37And it's going to go against Stewart.
21:40It'll be his first, but the fifth team foul will mean free throws.
21:43I know when you talk about the Colt hero in Jenkins, I mean his emergence, particularly when Cunningham was out,
21:50the numbers he put up, continuing with that confident play on that last jump shot.
21:56So it is 30 to 27, initially looked like it was a tie game, instead it was a 12-2
22:02run.
22:02Look at Dennis Jenkins, with and without Cade Cunningham.
22:05That has been the story for him.
22:08Uber confident dude who was a zero-star recruit in high school.
22:13He started at Vesolo High School in Texas, but he wasn't, in his own eyes, good enough to play on
22:18that team.
22:18A football school by nature, eventually transferred to Hillcrest High School, which was a much smaller school that gave him
22:24opportunity to play.
22:25Signed with the Juco before Damon Stoudemire came in late to recruit him to Pacific.
22:30As Harris turns around, it comes up short, and a long rebound, leak out goes to Wagner, first load down.
22:37Jenkins, as Bain, in and out on the three, Holland couldn't play it, but the Silva does for the two.
22:44A little miscommunication there on that defensive rebound, the Silva in the right place at the right time.
22:49Oh, Jenkins again, this time off the heel.
22:52And so for Jenkins, he ended up doing two seasons at Pacific with Stoudemire.
22:56Went to a Juco after that, felt like he was ready for a big-time offer.
23:00Rick Pitino comes in, and Iona says, hey, I want you to play for me.
23:04And he said, one meeting, he said, this guy's going to make me reach my potential.
23:08He followed him to St. John's, went undrafted, and went from two-way player to two-year standard career track.
23:14But Tase has the follow on the slam.
23:1935-27, what a response here from Orlando, after the gut punch there from Detroit.
23:24It is Jenkins.
23:25Toto ran, but he couldn't finish.
23:27And Brock secured the rebound before the final first-quarter buzzer.
23:3335-27, Orlando shoots the ball 45% from the floor, gets 11 from Jalen Suggs, and has an 8
23:39-point lead.
23:40You're watching Sunday Night Basketball, presented by Kia.
23:49Welcome back to the NBA Playoffs, presented by Google.
23:5535-27 after one.
23:57Jalen Suggs leading the way with 11 points.
24:00Magic went 10 of 16 from 2, 3 of 13 from 3.
24:04We talked about points to paint, how much it matters to both of these teams.
24:07The other thing is second-chance points.
24:09Detroit, fourth in the NBA, 17 per game in the regular season.
24:12Orlando right in the middle of the league at 14.9, as Black got fouled by Durin.
24:18Meanwhile, in that first-quarter, Grant, seven second-chance points for Orlando and zero for the Detroit Pistons.
24:25The Magic doing a great job defending and rebounding, closing out each possession.
24:31Really, those offensive rebounds there were huge, in part because they missed a lot of three-pointers.
24:37Long shots lead to long rebounds, and the Magic have been able to prevail.
24:42Take a look at the upcoming playoff schedule.
24:45Coming up next, NBC and Peacock.
24:48Victor Wimbanyama makes his playoff debut tonight in San Antonio at 9 p.m. Eastern,
24:52and tomorrow night on Peacock Toronto at Cleveland Game 2.
24:56And NBC and Peacock, Atlanta at MSG for Game 2, followed by Minnesota and Denver.
25:02For more of these games, please go to NBA.com or visit the NBA app.
25:06Jenkins, Robinson, Durin, Holland, and Harris, the five on the floor.
25:10It's Robinson, too strong, and tapped by Bain into the hands of Carter.
25:16It'll be Bain, Carter, Black, Kane, and Wagner.
25:21It'll knock the way in the hands of Harris.
25:23Bain late to recover.
25:24Harris will take him on himself.
25:26And a foul is called.
25:28It'll be Carter backtracking, trying to contain Tobias Harris.
25:32Great help side defense.
25:34I don't know if this was a goal to, or if it hit the backboard first or not.
25:38It was the ball on its way down, but the effort from Jalen Dern there is...
25:44Oh, that was super close.
25:47But nothing easy at the rim for the Magic.
25:51Harris with four in the first quarter.
25:53Make your playoff picks now with NBA Pick'em Bracket Challenge,
25:57presented by Castro.

26:06And we saw Jalen Dern with that great defensive effort.
26:10I'd like to see him get more engaged on the offensive end.
26:12Only taking one shot, has not scored.
26:15Magic have done a great job of packing the paint,
26:19but his numbers during the regular season,
26:22establishing that interior presence for the Pistons,
26:24has been so important to their offensive attack.
26:27Well, the final is for most improved players this year in the NBA.
26:31Only player in the NBA to average 19 or more points,
26:3410 or more rebounds, and shoot 60% or better from the floor.
26:38Tough one.
26:38Off the heel for Bain.
26:40Back tap.
26:41Holland got there first.
26:42Running with Harris.
26:43Harris to the right.
26:44That's it!
26:48Talk about chaos.
26:50Look at what Ryan, Ron Holland does.
26:53Just the effort, the intensity,
26:56a nightmare to go up against offensively with his effort.
27:00Still incredibly young, just 20 years old,
27:02in his second season, fifth overall pick in 2024.
27:05Wagner, contact that Harris is going to be called for it.
27:15Tough shot by Bain, and Holland just gets in there,
27:19wants it more.
27:21And the great finish, once again,
27:23Harris getting to the basket.
27:262-1-1.
27:27And that's been a part of the Pistons' attack.
27:30About 18% of their offensive plays this season have been in transition,
27:34in part, because they're able to get turnovers with their defense.
27:38They forced the most turnovers at 16.9 per game.
27:42J.B. Bickerstaff didn't agree with that last call.
27:44It was number two on Tobias Harris,
27:46and the second team foul in this second quarter.
27:49And we're looking at that foul trouble on both sides.
27:52Bain had the early two.
27:53Now two for Duncan Robinson,
27:55and two for Tobias Harris on the Detroit side.
27:59So Wagner, a chance to catch some rhythm
28:03at the free-throw line with a pair.
28:05These two head coaches,
28:06such close friends over the years.
28:10Similar styles, same age,
28:12both played college basketball.
28:14J.B. Bickerstaff finishing up at Minnesota.
28:16Jamal Mosley played all four years at Colorado.
28:19They're so close that their families take vacations together.
28:23Their kids call the other one Uncle J.B.
28:25and Uncle Jamal,
28:26as that one's in and out for Jenkins.
28:28But on this week, and maybe next week as well,
28:30depending on how long this series goes,
28:32after they went seven two years ago
28:33in the Orlando and Cleveland series,
28:35Wagner can't finish,
28:37they will not be speaking all that much outside of the game.
28:41And the perfect delivery for Jenkins.
28:44Oh!
28:44Oh!
28:45Oh!
28:45Oh!
28:46Oh!
28:50A run, a rim run!
28:53And another explosive early offensive set
28:57as Wendell Carter just quiets the crowd with a triple.
29:00And they needed that.
29:01The Magic, they started the game three of four
29:03from the three-point line
29:05with 0 for 9 from the three-point line
29:07until Carter makes that timely bucket.
29:10Oh!
29:14Oh!
29:15And they do whistle on that foul.
29:18It was an undercut by Jamal Kane,
29:20who's going to pick up his first.
29:21And that last play in transition,
29:23look at Duncan Robinson.
29:24He gets out, runs to the corner on the left side,
29:27forces Bain to go with him,
29:29and Holland makes the right cut.
29:31And you said it best.
29:32Jenkins with a beautiful pass there around Black.
29:36But Robinson made that play
29:38by sprinting to the corner
29:40and taking the defender with him,
29:42creating that lane for his teammate.
29:45Robinson has been such a great addition to this team,
29:48adding that shooting that they needed.
29:51Austin Hardaway Jr. over in Denver,
29:53who's going to be an extra six-man a year.
29:55What a swat by Anthony Black out of bounds.
29:58I just can't.
29:59He came out of nowhere there.
30:01I mean, Robinson had him beat.
30:03Black, 6'7", long arms,
30:08timed it perfectly.
30:09Once again, for both teams,
30:11nothing easy at the rim.
30:14And that one deflected by Bancaro,
30:16so Detroit will keep it with 8 on the shot clock.
30:19And as I said,
30:20they've got to get during some touches,
30:22maybe some screen and roll action.
30:23He's so good as a roller there.
30:26Obviously, Cunningham not in the game,
30:28Thompson not in the game,
30:29but he is too important to this offensive attack
30:32to only have taken one shot thus far.
30:35And that's going to be a foul.
30:37Is that an away from the play foul?
30:38The ball was not inbounded,
30:40and it looked like maybe just some lost footing,
30:42but Anthony Black is going to be called for it
30:45in a free throw as a result
30:46with the away from the play foul for Detroit.
30:50And we talked about how it was going to be physical.
30:54Teams commit a lot of fouls
30:56at the top in the league
30:58and committing fouls,
30:59and right there before the ball inbounded,
31:02fouling,
31:04Tobias Harris
31:06rewarded with shots
31:07and the ball out of bounds.
31:11Speaking of physicality,
31:13that is the OG bad boy right there,
31:16Rick Mahorn,
31:17radio analyst for many years now
31:19back here in Detroit,
31:20and rightfully dressed in all black.
31:22Nice throwback to the bad boys right there as well.
31:25I played with Rick for three years
31:26in the teal era.
31:28That's right.
31:28He's a bad boy,
31:29but he's a teddy bear.
31:30I was going to say,
31:31when you actually get to know him,
31:32man, he's the best.
31:36And a foul's going to be called,
31:38so now the whistle's starting to become
31:39a little bit more abundant
31:41in this second quarter,
31:42and that's going to be the fourth team foul
31:44already against Orlando.
31:46Great hesitation there by Jenkins,
31:48just freezing the defense.
31:50I don't know where I saw the foul.
31:52Look at a late whistle.
31:55Kane, oh, look like Kane might have reached in there.
31:57Jenkins was elongating to the basket.
32:02So you go back to Dennis Jenkins
32:04and that incredible journey
32:06to get to this spot,
32:07as you can on the front end of this,
32:09but the Rick Pitino aspect of all of it,
32:12he talked about playing for Rick,
32:14and he said that the first practice
32:15he went through,
32:16he said,
32:17I'll never go through anything
32:18this difficult again.
32:19He says every step he's been at
32:21ever since then
32:22has felt like a cakewalk
32:23because of what Pitino put him through
32:25in two years.
32:26You know, Rick's not going to like that
32:27because now the recruiting at St. John's,
32:29you're hearing that.
32:31That's going to be difficult.
32:32No, no, no, but he said
32:33it got him to this point.
32:34He's in the NBA
32:35because of Rick Pitino.
32:36He would tell you that
32:3711 times out of 10.
32:39Way to clean it up.
32:39Way to clean it up.
32:40I appreciate you.
32:41I do work for a living.
32:43Van Carroll,
32:44give it up last second
32:45for Jamal Kane.
32:46Van Carroll is so good.
32:48When he gets into the paint,
32:49just makes the right read.
32:51Beautiful pass.
32:54Durant.
32:55Oh, went right into Carter.
32:57Cuts off the right depth,
32:58and Durant is finally on the board.
33:01Oh, streaking down.
33:02Kane had a step.
33:03Made it, traveled with it,
33:04and then a foul called
33:05on Duncan Robinson.
33:07And you can see
33:08that's exactly what Duncan's
33:09trying to argue
33:10as he picks up his third.
33:11Yeah, he might have walked there.
33:12Kane tried to gather his steps
33:14in transition.
33:16And, you know,
33:16it felt like they were
33:17letting him play
33:18to start the game,
33:19and then they started
33:20to call the foul
33:21a little bit there,
33:22and Kane might have dragged
33:23that pivot foot there,
33:25trying to maintain his balance.
33:27I mean, they might.
33:30They might challenge this.
33:32I know.
33:33No, they might not.
33:34It's just,
33:35it feels a little early
33:36in a playoff game.
33:36Both of these coaches
33:37really stress to us
33:38how much each possession
33:40matters,
33:41and Jamal Mosley felt
33:43they learned last year,
33:45certainly J.B. Bickerstaff's team
33:46learned last year,
33:47that one bad possession
33:48in the first quarter
33:49could ultimately cost you
33:50in a series
33:51where every possession
33:52matters.
33:53That's a perfect run
33:54on the feed
33:55from Bancaro to Black.
33:56And that might be
33:57the play for the Magic.
33:58All the eyes are on Bancaro
34:00when he catches the ball.
34:02You move,
34:02he'll find you.
34:04Great pass,
34:05great finish.
34:05First minutes
34:06for Javante Green
34:07in there
34:07with the foul trouble
34:08for Robinson.
34:09Two strong
34:09from Cunningham.
34:11Pinballs
34:11into the hands of Kane.
34:14It's over four minutes
34:15gone by
34:16in this second quarter.
34:17Already 44 points
34:18for Orlando
34:19against one of the best
34:19defensive teams
34:20in the NBA.
34:21Skip it.
34:22Kane fumbled it.
34:23Got it back with 10.
34:25Sucks back on the floor.
34:26Off the screen.
34:28He'll pull.
34:28And he can't hit
34:29on the three.
34:30That's going to be a
34:32loose ball foul
34:33going against
34:34Dennis Jenkins
34:35as he discarded on Kane.
34:41You know,
34:41we talked earlier,
34:42Paolo just takes his time,
34:43reads the defense there,
34:45surveys things,
34:46and a beautiful backup.
34:47Thompson got caught
34:49sleeping there
34:50on the weak side,
34:50and then Jenkins
34:51trying to block out.
34:53Oh, Duren.
34:54It actually was Duren
34:55who got called for it.
34:56That was like you with me
34:57in the buffet line here
34:58before the game.
34:58Just pushed him out of the way.
35:00I need my mac and cheese.
35:07He is remaining assertive
35:09in his first second quarter minutes
35:11after an impressive start of the first.
35:15Just a great combination
35:17of power,
35:19skill,
35:20and size
35:21in Paolo Bancaro.
35:22We talked about it
35:24earlier,
35:24just how he's been able
35:26to elevate his game
35:27over the years
35:28in the postseason.
35:30Regular season numbers
35:31a little bit down,
35:32but he has stepped up
35:33and been aggressive here tonight.
35:37All teams are winning the bonus
35:39for Saturday in May.
35:40High fashion meets high stakes.
35:42The Kentucky Derby
35:43where a real photo op
35:45is really at the finish line.
35:47May 2nd on NBC.
35:52So if we're off,
35:53can you hook me up?
35:54I don't know if we're off.
35:55Do you think we're off?
35:56Oh, I don't know.
35:56I said if.
35:57Oh, look.
35:58Do you think that would be
35:59worthy of Churchill Downs?
36:00That was a good outfit over there.
36:01I can see what we could do.
36:03I think we know some guys.
36:04He'd give me some tickets, though.
36:05That's the thing.
36:06We'll see.
36:07We'll see how you treat me
36:08the rest of the game.
36:10The fend-off Cunningham.
36:12Two strong, long rebound.
36:14Jenkins tracks it down.
36:15Second chance here for Detroit.
36:17Jenkins right out of A.
36:21You know, it's remarkable.
36:24The first offensive rebound
36:25tonight for the Pistons
36:27there from Jenkins and Smart
36:29had the mismatch,
36:30a little shot fake.
36:32Paolo leans in
36:35and he extended
36:36able to get the foul.
36:39And then the earlier
36:40Bencaro, as he's posting up,
36:42crowd felt like he might have
36:45elbowed their green.
36:47A little frustration by green
36:48with that foul in return.
36:50Certainly looked like J.B.
36:51Bickerstaff also was frustrated
36:52as he was trying to get
36:53James Williams' attention
36:54during the free throws.
36:56But we have a tiny bit of news
36:57for you.
36:57Elizabeth Banks and
36:59Matthew McFadden
37:00will star as a couple
37:02whose love story
37:02is one little problem
37:03in the new
37:04Peacock Original Series
37:05The Miniature Wife
37:06streaming now
37:07only on Peacock.
37:10Jenkins in his
37:11playoff debut
37:12five points off the bench.
37:15And we talked about
37:15that first quarter
37:16they let him play
37:17there was up and down
37:18action.
37:19That was a little choppy.
37:20You know,
37:20they're fouling every possession
37:22slowing things down
37:23so players have to adjust
37:25at how the referees
37:27are officiating the game.
37:28Turnover.
37:29Kane threw it right to green.
37:32Thompson.
37:33The attack.
37:35Over the top.
37:36J.B.
37:51Bancaro against green.
37:53On the attack.
37:54The pull.
37:55And he connects
37:56from the midrange.
37:57He's feeling it right now
37:58just taking his time
37:59reading the defense
38:01making that shot.
38:02That was not an easy shot.
38:04Great defense.
38:05Better offense.
38:06Cutting in.
38:07Thompson back to it.
38:09The offensive rebound
38:11starting to come in.
38:12Spurts for Detroit.
38:14That one out of bounds
38:15off Bancaro
38:15with a timeout on the floor.
38:17Three offensive rebounds
38:19for Detroit.
38:19That's a grown man inside.
38:22Duren getting Detroit
38:23a little closer.
38:29Welcome back.
38:30Now time for
38:31Key of Key Moves.
38:32And as you see here
38:32as Thompson drives
38:34Wendell Carter Jr.
38:35comes over
38:36and does a good job
38:37walling up there.
38:38But on the weak side
38:39Jamal Cain
38:40trying to wrestle
38:41down there
38:41with Jalen Duren.
38:42Good luck
38:43with that.
38:44And Duren
38:45who was not involved early
38:47getting involved
38:48the hard way.
38:50He is a
38:51one man super smash.
38:56Green draw a couple.
38:58Cunningham forced the issue.
39:00That's a tough finish.
39:02I love his pace.
39:04Just takes his time.
39:05Great size.
39:07He really just
39:07shoot over any defender
39:09when he gets down there
39:10in the pace.
39:12Thompson steps up
39:13on subs.
39:14Green staying
39:14with Bancaro.
39:16Now the switch.
39:19Defensive player
39:19of the year final
39:20as Thompson
39:21trying to stay
39:21with Bancaro.
39:22and he does get the stop.
39:27Thompson.
39:28Oh what a bounce
39:29for Green.
39:30He's trying to force it in
39:31but it's fouled.
39:35Thompson there
39:36in transition
39:37when he pushes the pace
39:38good things have happened.
39:40And just a nice
39:41cut backdoor
39:42Javante Green
39:43but a beautiful pass
39:45and he has the
39:46point guard abilities
39:48played that in high school.
39:50Oh man.
39:52Just finding that scene
39:54there and
39:56Detroit when they've been
39:57able to push the pace
39:58here in this game
39:59and not have to go
40:00against the half court
40:00defense of Orlando
40:02they have been very
40:03efficient on the
40:04the offensive end.
40:06Javante Green
40:06playing in his
40:0713th career playoff game.
40:09He was one of 18 players
40:10in the NBA this year
40:11to play all 82.
40:13Another one was Desmond
40:14Bain who was one of just
40:15four to start
40:16in every game this year.
40:22Green will get one more
40:24free throw
40:24has just added to the
40:26already gritty presence
40:28of this Pistons team
40:29but he can't make it
40:30to one possession game.
40:32Vankero, Batase,
40:34Sugg, Bain and Kane
40:35the five for Jamal Mosley.
40:38Herter back out there
40:39for Detroit
40:40along with Green,
40:41Cunningham, Stewart and Thompson.
40:44It's Kane
40:45and it doesn't go for three.
40:50Approaching five minutes
40:50to play in this first half.
40:52Detroit has never led
40:53it in this one.
40:56Stewart looking inside.
40:58It's Cunningham
40:59working on the sucks.
41:00On the turnaround.
41:02Goes right to Vankero.
41:03He missed.
41:04Kevin Herter was wide open
41:06there on the weak side.
41:07Deflection by Thompson
41:09and it's left touched
41:10by Vankero.
41:11And who brought that
41:12anticipation there
41:13from Thompson
41:14reading the eyes
41:15of Desmond Bain
41:16and at the right moment
41:18just reaching out,
41:21contesting,
41:22getting a deflection
41:22and the turnover there
41:24by Vankero.
41:25The pocket pass,
41:26the extra pass.
41:28Green forces it off
41:29and he's fouled
41:30by Batase.
41:34That'll be number one
41:35on Goga.
41:36Detroit so good
41:37on that short roll.
41:40having somebody from the corner
41:42dive.
41:43A lot of times Thompson
41:44is in that role.
41:45But Javante Green,
41:47you've seen him
41:48as a little baseline beauty
41:50here tonight
41:50finding the openings
41:52under the basket.
41:55So Green
41:56now off the bench
41:57has not taken a shot
41:59but his third and fourth
42:01free throw attempt
42:02in the last two possessions.
42:03After almost 25 years,
42:04the WNBA returns
42:06to NBC.
42:07It all begins
42:08May 17th
42:09on NBC
42:10and streaming
42:11on Peacock.
42:15One of the conversations
42:16around this Detroit team
42:18after several consecutive
42:20really down seasons
42:22including a year
42:23in which they won
42:24just 14 games
42:25a couple years ago.
42:26It's a team that has
42:28had this unbelievable
42:28turnaround.
42:2944 wins last year
42:30under J.B. Bickerstaff.
42:3260 here this season.
42:33And Asar Thompson
42:35mentioned
42:35that they really needed
42:37to learn
42:37how they were losing
42:39games in the fourth quarter
42:40before they could actually
42:41learn how to win games
42:43in the fourth quarter.
42:44Here's a turnover.
42:45Numbers.
42:46Cunningham out of
42:46taking right back
42:47by Suggs.
42:48Get it up ahead
42:49for Bain.
42:50Numbers the other way.
42:51Bain will rise.
42:54We've signed a rebound.
42:55Back tap for Vankero.
42:57Jimmy shake.
42:58Vankero.
42:59And he adjusted
43:00last second.
43:01Will get free throws
43:02on the foul by Stewart.
43:03And that was a very
43:04smart adjustment
43:05right there.
43:06He kind of froze Stewart.
43:08Didn't know if he was
43:09going to pass it
43:10or go at the rim.
43:12And Suggs just
43:14continuing how he
43:15started the game
43:16with the effort
43:17on the defensive end
43:18getting that turnover.
43:19But Vankero
43:21he's going right
43:22at the chest
43:23of Stewart.
43:24Make sure you
43:25initiate the contact
43:27and go at the
43:28shot blocker.
43:29And Vankero
43:31getting it done there
43:32throwing that foul.
43:33Meanwhile Jalen Suggs
43:34that was his third steal
43:35of this first half.
43:37Detroit has three
43:37total.
43:39And Suggs when he's
43:41passed defensively
43:42that's really how he
43:43kind of gained the trust
43:45of Jamal Mosley
43:46a few years ago
43:46was on the defensive end
43:48and his offense
43:49over time
43:49has rounded out
43:50but man
43:51everywhere
43:52defensively.
43:53There's so many
43:54things that are
43:55challenging for a young
43:56man as they enter
43:57the NBA
43:57and embark on their
43:59professional career.
44:00Jalen Suggs
44:01his second cousin
44:02Terrell Suggs
44:04was an outstanding
44:05linebacker
44:07elite rusher
44:08for the Baltimore Ravens.
44:10Thompson doesn't go
44:12and rebound
44:13in the hands of
44:14with Tazi.
44:14So Jalen Suggs
44:16was a diehard
44:17Baltimore Ravens
44:17fan growing up
44:18but he played
44:19with so many
44:19elite football players
44:20in Minnesota
44:21before he ends up
44:22going to college
44:23at Gonzaga
44:23for basketball
44:24that a number
44:25of his teammates
44:26and friends
44:26got drafted
44:27into the NFL.
44:29Thompson running.
44:30Herter.
44:31Couldn't finish it.
44:32Thompson does.
44:35Thompson another
44:36everywhere
44:37defensively.
44:40getting a turnover
44:42flying down the floor.
44:44This is Detroit
44:45basketball
44:46at its best.
44:48Asar Thompson
44:50with the putback.
44:55Detroit,
44:56the defense tonight
44:56from both teams
44:57has been extraordinary
44:58but particularly
44:59for Jalen Suggs
45:01at the start
45:02in the passing lanes
45:04getting deflections
45:05rock shots
45:07the activity
45:08the energy
45:09about three or four
45:10floor burns as well.
45:12Jalen Suggs
45:14playing blue collar
45:15desperate
45:16a sense of urgency
45:18when he hit two threes
45:20early
45:20two for eight overall
45:22from the three-point line
45:23but just
45:23that kind of
45:25emotion
45:26and will
45:27certainly Jamal Mosley
45:29proud
45:29and that
45:30setting the tone
45:31early for this magic team
45:32on the road.
45:33So just to wrap it up
45:34for the 2019 Minnesota
45:36Mr. Football Selection
45:37and Jalen Suggs
45:39diehard Ravens fan
45:40growing up
45:40he had a couple
45:41friends
45:42two in particular
45:43that ended up
45:43getting drafted
45:44by the Steelers
45:45and it broke his heart
45:46but he had to root
45:47for them.
45:48He said it was one of the
45:49harder things
45:50that he had to
45:50eventually decide
45:51another turnover
45:52a chance to tie
45:54and a strip
45:55by Patase
45:57looks like Thompson
45:58might have just
45:59lost it on the way up
46:00and Orlando keeps
46:01the two-point cushion
46:03coaching three minutes
46:04to play
46:05in this first half
46:06Magic shooting the ball
46:0743%
46:08and it's Bank Carroll
46:10money on a triple
46:12money indeed
46:13you know
46:13they played earlier
46:14in the week
46:15in Philadelphia
46:15he was hesitant
46:16to shoot from three
46:17so no hesitancy
46:19there at all
46:20Bank Carroll
46:21inside outside
46:23getting it done
46:24playoff riser
46:26indeed
46:2617 points
46:28and five rebounds
46:29in 15 minutes
46:29so far
46:31now it's Cunningham
46:32who's got 11
46:33and two boards
46:34back down on Wagner
46:36a lot of contact
46:37back and forth
46:38Wagner just trying
46:39to hold his ground
46:40and the whistle came
46:42as Wagner
46:43is going to pick it up
46:44both teams
46:44defensively
46:45have been incredible
46:46great hands
46:47by Patase
46:48there
46:48on what would have
46:50probably been an easy
46:51convert
46:51at the rim
46:52for Thompson
46:53and then a little
46:53dribble handoff
46:54actually
46:55get the ball
46:55to your star
46:57and then Carol
46:58make some pain
46:59we've talked about
47:01the incredible season
47:02of Cade Cunningham
47:05he and Nicola Jokic
47:07the only players
47:08in the NBA
47:08to average 23 or more
47:10points
47:11nine or more rebounds
47:12five or more assists
47:13per game
47:14Cade was second
47:14in the NBA
47:15in assists per game
47:16behind Jokic
47:18Cunningham
47:18nine point nine
47:20dimes a night
47:21and plays on both ends
47:23I mean obviously
47:24is the fulcrum
47:26if you will
47:26for this team
47:27offensively
47:28but on the defensive
47:29end gets blocked
47:30shots commits
47:31to guarding the ball
47:33can switch
47:33guarding the interior
47:35does it all
47:36for these pistons
47:37Van Carol's got
47:39eight in this second
47:40quarter
47:40instead it sucks
47:41but he came in
47:42on the three
47:44Van Carol clears
47:48and now he'll go to work
47:49with a stream
47:51and a dish
47:52and a foul on Suggs
47:53that'll be number three
47:55on Jalen Suggs
47:59and Cade Cunningham's
48:01ability to drive
48:03and draw attention
48:05is truly his bread and butter
48:07and right there
48:09just kind of takes his time
48:10change of pace
48:12forces the defense
48:13to react
48:14he makes him pay
48:16with the beautiful pass
48:17we'll see if Orlando
48:18will make a change
48:19after that third foul
48:20on Suggs
48:21Sunday night baseball

48:39of this second quarter
48:40Herter stays out there
48:41with Harris
48:42Thompson Cunningham
48:44and Stewart
48:44it's Wagner

49:34making it look easy
49:38Magic led by as many
49:39as 13 in the first quarter
49:42trying to extend it back here
49:44and it's being too strong
49:46Detroit can take its first lead

50:2711 points
50:283 rebounds
50:293 assists
50:29and 3 steals

50:57as we go into the half
51:00they led by as many
51:01as 13 in the first
51:02Detroit battles
51:03all the way back
51:04to within 1
51:05but a 2-possession
51:06magic lead
51:07in this 1-8
51:08matchup of game 1
51:09and Noah
51:09just high-level defense
51:11from both teams
51:12a little bit of a struggle
51:14shooting the ball
51:14from the perimeter
51:15but the help
51:17the effort
51:17I mean this is
51:18playoff basketball
51:19at its best
51:21and Jalen Suggs
51:22is delivering
51:23he's with Ashley
51:23alright Jalen
51:24it seems like there's
51:25about 5 of you
51:26out on this floor
51:27you are all over the place
51:28how have you been able
51:29to affect the game
51:29in so many ways
51:30this first half
51:31I was just trying to
51:31come out and impact
51:32the game in any way
51:33shape or form
51:34that's rebound
51:34and playing defense
51:36flying off the floor
51:36and getting everybody involved
51:37I think we've got to be
51:38a bit more organized
51:39and that's on me
51:40as a guard
51:41so coming out of half
51:41that's where the focus is
51:42you guys have controlled
51:44this game
51:44kept the lead
51:45the entire first half
51:46what kind of adjustments
51:47or changes
51:47do you think
51:48this whole team needs
51:49to make for the next one
51:50keep it going
51:50being solid
51:51I mean I think
51:52in the second quarter
51:52like I said
51:53we were great
51:53we were still in control
51:54and we started
51:54turning the ball over
51:55so really cleaning those up
51:56trying to get a shot
51:57at every possession
51:58and when it does
51:59sprint back
51:59don't give them no easy ones
52:00because we're guarding right now
52:00thanks so much
52:01good luck
