00:04What is thunderbird you might ask? This is an email app that allows you to

00:15Microsoft Outlook Yahoo and other stuff right within it. It can help you ditch multiple apps and web mail
00:22It can it does have open keychain encryption
00:26Which is very nice to have and it is compatible with Gmail Outlook Yahoo mail out cloud and more
00:33Well, this is hundred percent open source and free to use which is a great thing for all the apps
00:39that I
00:40usually feature on my channel, so
00:44Thunderbird is free and open source which means you don't have to pay a single dime for it
00:48Now today I'm going to show you how you can download it simply go to your Google Play Store or
00:53the
00:56And install it once you have installed it you will be given three options the first option is import settings
01:02that if you have a
01:03Thunderbird on desktop you can use this, but if you don't have one which is
01:08Everyone right there. So you are new to Thunderbird. So add an email account now
01:14Here just type in your email address
01:17For example, I am going to type in my Gmail address which is this one and
01:21Hit next this will automatically
01:25define the
01:26configurations that
01:28Might be used so here we go now. I'm gonna
01:32Click on sign in with Google this will sign in in Thunderbird
01:37This will open up by your default browser
01:39And if you prefer another browser you can simply click on the share button right there and
01:46Check another browser we for example. I'm going with the samsung internet browser so I'm just gonna
01:52Click on that one and this will open up samsung internet browser you might get this
01:58Settings simply click on next and it might ask you that you have to restart the
02:04stuff the process so once you really start it will automatically give you Thunderbirds wants to
02:11access your email so simply just gonna allow that and
02:15wait for it this will automatically scan all the
02:18Gmail's fetch the folders and all of your mail will be there right there
02:24So for display options you are gonna need to type in your name or you may not
02:28There is a sync frequency which I prefer that I manually sync the Thunderbird
02:34I don't have the one auto sync turn on so number of messages you can choose that if you want
02:40notification
02:40Keep it on this will create an account for Thunderbird
02:45And if you want to and give it access to your
02:49Accounts you can do that and nice is now loading all my mails
02:53Around hundred of them that are available in my gmail account as you can see don't worry. These are not
02:59useful emails. So
03:02The best thing about this is that it can
03:06Give you a unified inbox which means all of your mails will be
03:11United into a single mailbox

04:56So no need to check for settings and yep, that's how we are going to use it
