00:00Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim today announced that Petronas will negotiate with Russia to secure sufficient oil supply for domestic use.
00:10He said that many European and American countries that previously imposed sanctions on Russia are now scrambling to purchase oil

00:22Anwar, who is also Finance Minister, said that early diplomatic efforts by the government-insured Malaysian oil tankers were among
00:30the first to pass through the critical route in the Strait of Hormuz in recent weeks.
00:36The Ocean Thunder, an oil tanker chartered by Petronas firm Petco, arrived safely in Malaysia carrying one million barrels of
00:45crude oil from Basra, Iraq.
00:48Petronas confirmed on Wednesday that fuel supply at its stations nationwide will remain secure until the end of June, extending
00:56its earlier projection by a month.
