00:00I was standing in the hallway and I heard my name mentioned, like being called Gemma, as I turned the
00:12black substance stray at me and the two girls that were standing to me, my daughter and my niece.
00:18It was meant to be the best day of her life, but Gemma's perfect day quickly turned sour when her
00:25sister-in-law threw a dark liquid towards her.
00:29So Gemma, walk me through it. What was happening on the day?
00:33So my dad, myself and my brother-in-law was driving up here and we parked here to let the
00:40bridesmaids out.
00:42I was told that I wasn't entering there. I was going to be entering this store around here.
00:49As me and my dad approached, my dad parked, got me out, I greeted my bridesmaids and I then entered
00:58there.
01:00This wall here is where they were hiding to attack me.
01:05Behind the wall? They were hiding behind the wall?
01:07Just this wall here, yeah. Right here. So my dad was parked here.
01:12And as my dad left me to come and park the car over here, he rushed to come to me
01:20and he put the car in reverse, which then hit this wall after the attack.
01:26Yeah, that's how I put the place.
01:29For Gemma, it was supposed to be a white wedding, but look at her veil, ruined.
01:35And part of an £1,800 dress, veil and tiara outfit, it was supposed to be a family heirloom she
01:42could pass down to her daughter to work to prom.
01:44But that isn't possible anymore.
01:47The culprit, Antonia Eastwood, when the case went to Maystone Crown Court, was imposed a 10-month jail term suspended
01:55for 12 months with 160 hours of unpaid work.
01:59She was also handed a 10-year restraining order and taught to pay £1,000 to Oakwood House in compensation
02:07and £4,000 to her sister-in-law in £100 monthly instalments.
02:13In court, she expressed her wish to apologise to her victim, Gemma.
02:18I mean, nothing's ever going to be enough, ever.
02:23But what can I do about that, you know?
02:25She's got to live with herself for the rest of her life.
02:28And now I hope the world knows what she is and what she's done.
