00:00Brighton and Hove Albion have two of the most exciting new attackers in the Premier League.
00:04Kostoulos, aka the Greek Batistuta, was the focal point and the tactical engine of that
00:08Olympiakos Under-19 squad.
00:10He got five goals and two assists in eight games, scoring in almost every knockout round
00:14match.
00:15And quite rightly, he was bumped up to the senior Olympiakos squad the following season,
00:19scoring seven times in 22 Greek Super League appearances.
00:22Now, you don't need a transfers algorithm to work out that that's a bit special for
00:25a 17-year-old in any league.
00:27And so Brighton put their money where their mouth is and signed him to a contract until
00:312030.
00:32And before I forget, have you seen the overhead kick he scored against Bournemouth?
00:35Brighton had been aware of Simas for quite some time, back to his days as a Pauk youth
00:39team player, where he scored so regularly for the B team that he was bumped up to the
00:43seniors at the age of 17.
00:45To sum Simas up, he does the shots, he does the goals, he does the dribbles and takes players
00:49on, he runs off defenders shoulders and exploits high lines.
00:53He reminds me quite a bit of sporting edition Victor Jocheres, you know.
00:56There's very much a world in which the two can play together in the Premier League, with
00:59Kostoulos acting as the link, holding up play, occupying centre-backs like we know he can,
01:04whilst Simas runs off him, feeding on knockdowns and balls into the channels.
01:07Go on!
01:08Let's do this.
