00:05:14we saw the return of KC Navarro, his old tag team partner from within first class.
00:05:19That opened the door for Bernie Kosar to turn the tables on AJ Francis,
00:05:25and that is when you, Nick, hit the danger zone.

00:06:12It is wonderful to see KC Navarro back here in TNA Wrestling.
00:06:16For those that might recall, he competed at Slammiversary last summer,
00:06:21that treacherous four-way ladder match for the TNA World Tag Team titles.
00:06:25He competed alongside Francis, but during that matchup, Navarro was badly injured.
00:06:30He tore his ACL. He ruptured his patella tendon.
00:06:34He has two screws in his knee.
00:06:36However, he's been medically cleared three months ahead of schedule.
00:06:41KC Navarro is back to take down AJ Francis.
00:06:45I mean, you can't take anything away from the determination, the hard work,
00:06:50the passion that KC Navarro had in getting himself back to this point,
00:06:54especially considering how everything went down right before he got put on the injured list.
00:07:01Nick, what's your opinion of KC Navarro? What do you think about his timing?
00:07:05You know what? I know him so well that I knew he'd be back early.
00:07:09I didn't think three months early.
00:07:10That's the guts and fortitude that a few people in this business have,

01:14:32The X Division champion Leon Slater and Moose up against the entirety of the system.
01:14:39This is 2-on-4.
01:14:42This all started because earlier tonight the system were trying to talk about what their next plans were.
01:14:52But Leon Slater had to come out and try to run down people like Cedric Alexander.
01:14:57Had to start bragging about how he's approaching being the longest reigning X Division champion ever.
01:15:03And now people like him and Moose, they're going to pay for that hubris.
01:15:07Slater already dealing with the numbers of the system here in the early stages.
01:15:11Gets a piece of Cedric Alexander right there.
01:15:13And a tag made.
01:15:15In comes Moose, who is a proud graduate of Syracuse University tonight.
01:15:20Impact is in Syracuse, New York.
01:15:23Moose was a star offensive lineman for the Orange from 2002 to 2005.
01:15:29Was a future NFL draft pick in 2006.
01:15:33Got his degree in psychology.

01:19:40costing Lei Ying Li the TNA Knockouts World Championship.
01:19:44As that relationship explodes this match-up, as bodies flying everywhere, like a bomb went off.
01:19:52And here comes the X Division champion!
01:19:54Leon Slater is trying to become the longest reigning X Division champion of all time.
01:20:00If he can hold on to the title through Friday, May 15th,
01:20:04he will eclipse Austin Aries' 14-year-old record.
01:20:08So I am hoping we see a world where Impact is live on May 14th in Sacramento, California.
01:20:14And Leon Slater has a chance to celebrate his record-breaking achievement.
01:20:20Still many weeks between now and then, though, anything can happen, just like in this match-up.

01:22:36Slater and Moose had so few opportunities in the ring to actually attempt a successful pinfall.
01:22:45The system had him shut out left, right, and center.
01:22:49The pitfalls of four on two.
01:22:52But the headline, Tom, the headline is that once again Cedric Alexander has pinned the X Division champion.
01:23:02Let's take another look back at how this went down ultimately.
01:23:06The roll through into the lumbar check was a beautiful counter by Cedric and enough to score the win in
01:23:13this main event.
01:23:14It took all four members of the system to be two of the best TNA has to offer in Moose
01:23:20and Slater.
01:23:21And yet the fact remains.
01:23:24Another pinfall over the champion for Cedric.
01:23:27That's got to mean Brownie points in his favor for another shot at the goal.
01:23:36Tonight we knew we were going to feel the fallout from Rebellion.
01:23:40That night the system were claiming it was going to be the night of the system.
01:23:44They didn't come away with the championship goal that they were expecting.
01:23:47But the system still delivered a ton of damage between Rebellion and tonight on Impact.
01:23:52And that's what the system does. It's why they say the moniker, you can't beat the system.
01:23:57They proved it here tonight.
01:23:59Let's take a look back at what's happened this evening on TNA Thursday Night Impact on AMC.
01:24:04A star-studded evening.
01:24:06We kick things off with AJ Francis for the return and Casey Navarro with Nick Nemeth on commentary.
01:24:13The former first class tag team partners collided and Navarro was able to escape with the victory against Francis.
01:24:21Later on in the night we saw Jada Stone versus Tasha Steele.
01:24:26Stone looked like she left Order 4 in the dust.
01:24:29And then a challenge thrown out and accepted between world champion Mike Santana, Rich Swann, Eric Young and EC3 went
01:24:37to war.
01:24:37The Undead Realm exploded into the building here tonight. It was wild.
01:24:42The Undead Realm emptied and then in our main event this 2-on-4 matchup was absolutely incredible.
01:24:50A critical win for Cedric Alexander who has pinned the X Division champion Leon Slater.
01:24:58The next few weeks are going to be very interesting for us.
01:25:00That could be a little hiccup in the road to Leon Slater trying to become that longest reigning X Division
01:25:05champion ever.
