00:00Santa may have been watching, but I've been waiting.
00:02Here's your look at the Terror Vision Silent Night, Deadly Night 1984 soundtrack album.
00:13It finally arrived. I placed this order back December 23rd, 2025,
00:17and finally got the notification email from Terror Vision that they had shipped out the album.
00:22I've decided to wait, against my better judgment, to open this up and see this at the same time as
00:27you guys.
00:28This had sold out really fast over on their site.
00:31It was listed originally at $39.98, a little under $40.
00:35But then once you added the conversion, once you added the shipping, once you added all the fun stuff to
00:39that,
00:40I think I ended up picking this up for a little less than $100.
00:43You're probably asking yourself, wait a minute, I can't even do the math on that.
00:46How does $39.98 go to $100 that quick?
00:50Your guess is as good as mine.
00:52But we're going to go ahead carefully, carefully and cut this.
00:55I'm being joined here by McCutcheon's.
00:56We're going to slice the tape gingerly here on the side.
00:59And we're going to do the same thing along the top.
01:01This is a three-album release from the folks over at Terror Vision.
01:05And again, as soon as I saw that they had listed this,
01:07I jumped for the chance to get a soundtrack of the original 1984 slasher film
01:11that I watch every year at Christmastime.
01:14Maybe not necessarily on Christmas Day.
01:16I know I shouldn't really be waving my knife around like this.
01:18But I know when it comes time to December,
01:21the timeline, Deadline Night, the original one,
01:22and even the follow-up film with Ricky Caldwell are the two that I always end up having to watch
01:27every single year.
01:29And now getting, of course, a soundtrack to that in an album,
01:31we're going to, again, very carefully cut the tape.
01:34Because the last thing I really would want to do is damage the album inside.
01:37If you guys have had the chance to order this one,
01:39let me know down below in the comments section.
01:42From what I remember, there were variations of this album that you could get.
01:45I chose, I think, to get the Candy Cane release.
01:48Let's carefully, though.
01:50Oh, I see we're being...
01:52What do we have inside?
01:53It looks like...
01:54Is that...
01:54What do they call it?
01:55Is it Pixie Stix filled with sweet, sour candy powder?
02:00I might wait just to have a look at that maybe a little bit later.
02:03I also got myself a card inside.
02:05Terror Vision releases obscure, horror, sci-fi, oddball movies and soundtracks on glorious Blu-ray and beautiful vinyl.
02:13They have student bodies.
02:14Some of them you can see for yourself.
02:16I actually was excited when I first saw they listed Cheerleader Camp until I realized it was a soundtrack.
02:21It wasn't the Blu-ray.
02:23Eventually, I do want to get around to ordering Hide and Go Shriek.
02:26I have the original one on Blu-ray, but I would love to get an upgrade for that.
02:29On the back, introducing Creep Coins.
02:3210 coins for any Terror Vision cassette of your choosing.
02:3612 coins towards your favorite t-shirts, Blu-rays, so on and so on.
02:41Let's put that off to the side as well.
02:43Okay, so we have the album here.
02:45I guess I don't really necessarily need the cardboard.
02:46We'll just put that off to the side and getting a close look now at the album.
02:50It doesn't list Silent Night.
02:52It doesn't actually show Silent Night, Deadly Night in the front, but we all know Santa cascading down the chimney
02:57with the bloody axe.
02:58We know that that's Billy Chapman.
02:59I love that they've actually upgraded, or I guess updated the art.
03:03So instead of having a clean axe, this one's soaked in blood.
03:06There's blood all across the front of the chimney here.
03:10On the back, Silent Night, Deadly Night, the original motion picture soundtrack composed by Barry Baukin and Morgan Ames.
03:17Side A has the intro solo.
03:19I suppose I could read through all of these, but again, there's going to be many different albums inside this.
03:25So you've got the main title, Christmas Fever, Going Nowhere, Santa's Watching, of course it's going to have Santa's Watching,
03:30Never Stop for Strangers, Sweet Little Baby, Stop Little Baby, Snow Axe, Caught in the Act, Jingle Jam, Market 17,
03:41Side B has Warm Side of the Door.
03:42I love Warm Side of the Door.
03:44I think actually that's the montage music that they play while Billy's working in Ira's toy shop.
03:50Running Away, Erotic Dreams, Scary Time, It Must Be Christmas, Dress Up, Billy Loses It, Poor Boy, Mad Hatter, Santa's
03:57Bow and Arrow, Side C then has Christmas Flu, Horns, Merry Christmas Baby.
04:02A Little Later, Smiley Face, No Smoking, Take Him Away, Offing Father O'Brien, which I guess that pretty much
04:09is self-explanatory, Cackle, Snow Dreams, then Side B, we've got Naughty, Sleigh Rider, I Want to Sing You a
04:16Love Song, Christmas Party, Hit the Road, you get the intro of Snow Dreams.
04:20Side E, did I say Side B? Side D, Side E on the other hand, Santa's Bow and Arrow Ultimate
04:27Mix, Alternate Mix, Never Stop for Strangers, an Alternate Mix.
04:31Caught in the Act, again, an Alternate Mix, Erotic Dreams, same as before, Snow Dreams and Naughty are all alt
04:38mixes.
04:39Side F has Inner Voices, Christmas in My Dreams, Offing Father O'Brien, another alt, Horns, Billy Loses It, Merry
04:46Christmas Sweetheart, and Unknown Edit.
04:49It's a hefty album, there's a lot of weight going into this.
04:53Now I'm going to again very carefully, the last thing, the last thing I want to do.
04:59You can always tell by the way that I talk a lot quieter, that I'm trying not to damage the
05:06packaging.
05:07That's the last thing I would really want to have happen.
05:09By also taking off the packaging too, it could probably get rid of some of that light glare that's shining
05:14off of this.
05:16The Side Spine does say Silent Night, Deadly Night, Original Motion Picture Soundtrack,
05:21composed again by Barry Botkin and Morgan Ames.
05:25Okay, so let's flip this open here.
05:27So on the one side we've got some arrows.
05:30This side we've got Punish.
05:33And again, we've got the album on the inside.
05:35Well, there's the arrow.
05:37Or the arrow.
05:38There's the hammer lunged on the top of the head of Mr. Seams.
05:42The arrow, of course, over on the side.
05:45And then, you know, Billy going down the chimney.
05:47Okay, the actual albums themselves are on the sides here.
05:51So let's, I want to make sure we fold this the right way.
05:56So we're going to just pull the album out here.
06:03And also with that too, you get some additional information too.
06:07And I guess we can pull the album information out on this side as well.
06:13So, is that it?
06:14I think there's, no, there's one more inside here too.
06:18What I want to really do is just kind of pull everything out.
06:21We're going to put the case to the side.
06:24And with each of these, you actually have, so I'm going to pull out one at a time.
06:28And I'll kind of show you the corresponding art that goes with it.
06:31And the literature that goes with it.
06:33This is Silent Night, Deadly Night.
06:35Of course, this is the remake.
06:36I loved the remake.
06:37Okay, well, I shouldn't say loved.
06:39I liked the remake a lot more than I thought I would.
06:43There's the Silent Night, Deadly Night, side C.
06:46With all, of course, the tracks that are featured on that.
06:50The vinyl is glorious on this.
06:52I mean, I have not taken an album out of a cover or sleeve for that matter for a very
06:56long time.
06:57I feel like I'm also, it's a prime time now to start looking at updating my record turntable.
07:03I got a very cheap turntable.
07:05I wanted to get something a little bit more elaborate.
07:07But, you know, financially, it just wasn't in the cards at the time.
07:10So I want to kind of start to look around and see if I can get myself a decent turntable.
07:14But I love what this one, you can see that the vinyl is done in kind of a very nice
07:18emerald green.
07:20Let's slide this back in.
07:24For the sake of obviously copywritten music, I'm not going to be able to show you guys anything for track
07:29wise.
07:30Is there anything in this?
07:31I guess this would just really be the sleeve.
07:33Yeah, so the album would then slide inside the sleeve.
07:38I just dropped my knife.
07:39It's okay.
07:40I'd rather drop my knife than drop the packaging on this.
07:42Does this slide inside?
07:44Oh, I guess maybe it doesn't.
07:45I guess you have the option of either putting the album in this or you could put the album into
07:49this.
07:49When we do something naughty, we are always caught.
07:52Then we are punished.
07:54Punishment is absolute.
07:55Punishment is good.
07:57Mother Superior.
07:58Blasted Mother Superior.
07:59I'm glad she got hers.
08:01Then let's open up the other album here.
08:03So this is Side A.
08:06This was the one I actually had caught my interest the most.
08:08It's sort of a candy cane finish.
08:10You've got Side A with all the tracks.
08:13Again, I finished telling you guys.
08:14Warm Side of the Door.
08:15What's your favorite Silent Night, Deadly Night track?
08:18I would probably say Warm Side of the Door is definitely up there.
08:21You know, aside from Santa's Watching.
08:24And there's the back side right there.
08:27Same image as before.
08:28The only difference is this one here does actually have the Kleenex.
08:32There's Billy's arm.
08:33Santa's arm.
08:36And then with that, you also get the sleeve for that too.
08:40So this would be the sleeve I suppose that would be able to store the album.
08:43Santa's Watching.
08:44Santa's Waiting.
08:45Christmas Eve is Slowly Fading.
08:47Can you hear him in the night?
08:48Close the Doors.
08:49Turn out the Lights.
08:51And that's what it looks like on the other side.
08:52The movie that went too far.
08:54That is so outraged Hollywood.
08:56The government and parents everywhere.
08:59Billy with the bow and the arrow.
09:01Put that right over there.
09:03I know we're kind of doing these a little out of order.
09:06And then the last one.
09:07The one I really liked too was that they have the poster art.
09:10I always found this was funny with the poster art.
09:12It really looked less like Billy.
09:14And it looked more like really what is Russ Thorne from Slumber Party Massacre.
09:19That doesn't at all look like Billy Chapman.
09:22There's Mother.
09:22What was Mother's name?
09:24Emmy?
09:25It's like Emily or Emmy.
09:27It's funny that all of them had like last names that start with Y.
09:30Billy, Ricky.
09:32Bobby I think was the dad.
09:34Emmy I think was the mom.
09:35I don't even know.
09:36Did Grandpa have a name?
09:37He was just Crazy Grandpa.
09:38And there's Young Billy up at the top corner.
09:41Again, you got the candy cane finished to the vinyl.
09:44Flip this around on the other side.
09:45Now we've got Side E.
09:48So I guess that would be Side E on this side.
09:51Side F on the other.
09:52No, that would be Side E.
09:53This would be Side F.
09:56It's printed really well.
09:59It's, you know, I haven't had really a chance to look at vinyl for a long time here.
10:03I think the last time we looked at anything vinyl was probably the Dune soundtrack.
10:07But again, like I really like the finish on this.
10:09This just says Christmas to me.
10:12Again, you got Silent Night, Deadly Night, Side E, Side F.
10:16Let's slide both sides back inside the sleeve.
10:20And the last thing we have.
10:21You see Santa Claus tonight.
10:23You better run, boy.
10:24You better run for your life.
10:25You scared, ain't you?
10:27You should be.
10:27Christmas Eve is the scariest damn night of the year.
10:31And then all of a sudden.
10:32The movie is so shocking.
10:34So disturbing.
10:35They didn't want you to see it.
10:38I'm glad finally, like I said, this did finally arrive.
10:40I ordered this way back.
10:42It was December.
10:43Actually, I know because I've got the invoice still for it.
10:44It was December 23rd, 2025.
10:47So it did take a little longer for TerraVision.
10:49I was kind of really hoping that they could have delivered it near the end.
10:52I mean, obviously, if you place the order near the end of December, it's the 23rd.
10:56I mean, 24th, 25th, you're already now getting into holidays.
10:59But I hope that it was going to be delivered a little faster than what it was.
11:02This one, again, was sold out.
11:04I think it sold out probably within the few weeks that it was listed on their site.
11:08And originally, it was sold for $39.98.
11:11Again, for a Canadian collector, I paid a little bit more for this.
11:13But I'm going to get this obviously played on my turntable, get a chance to kind of actually
11:19listen to the tracks.
11:20I have most of these tracks already on my Spotify playlist.
11:23Just in case you were curious, you can actually go and look up Silent Night, Deadly Night on
11:28Spotify, and you can find the entire soundtrack.
11:30So if you still feel nostalgic for Christmas, even though we're technically now getting into
11:34the summertime season, you can go on to also Spotify and listen to those tracks there
11:39as well.
11:39Have you guys had the chance to pick this one up for yourself?
11:41Let me know down below in the comments section.
11:43I know, again, it always seems to be the thing that when I end up looking at things like this,
11:48not my fault, but they end up always being sold out.
11:51Unfortunately, yeah, this one did sell out and it sold out pretty fast.
11:54But let me know down below in the comments section if you guys had the chance to pick
11:57up this one for yourself.
11:58Today, we were looking at and unboxing the new Terror Vision Silent Night, Deadly Night 1984

12:09Yeah, pretty cool.
12:10If you guys did enjoy this video, do it a solemn throw to like.
12:12You guys want to stick around for more?
