00:00Running the seven marathons absolutely changed me the most.
00:04The marathon in Antarctica was the hardest thing I've ever done in my life.
00:10Because the way the race worked, you're supposed to start in Antarctica
00:15because it's the hardest and you want to have the freshest legs, right?
00:18Well, let me tell you this.
00:19The night before the race starts, we get an email that says,
00:25There's a blizzard coming. JK, we're not going to Antarctica tomorrow.
00:30We're running a marathon in Africa.
00:31And honestly, that is kind of the thesis of the chaos of this whole event.
00:38So we ran a marathon in South Africa at 7 in the morning.
00:44After crossing the finish line, we immediately went to the airport,
00:48flew straight to Antarctica.
00:50Keep in mind, we did not go to sleep.
00:53We're straight on the plane to Antarctica.
00:55And at midnight of the same day, we ran the Antarctica marathon at midnight.
01:01So it was two marathons in one day.
01:03That's not what I thought I signed up for.
